Admissions 📝 How can students with very basic levels of math be accepted into challenging stem majors?
I really don’t understand how students could be doing cs, math and physics majors and they are still suffering with basic algebra. I respect gsu accepts alot of students but there has to be a standard base. Like it’s a whole mess tbh. There isn’t a clear standard of specific math requirements to be qualified for the college work and students unqualified are dumbed into perimeter college associate degree programs. At the sane time there are cs students still doing basic college algebra. The only method is to make the SAT mandatory so that all students entering voulf have almost the same level of math required for college work.
