I'm about to take delivery of an EV and was wondering where do people who live in apartments charge their EVs. Not having the option to charge at home is surely inconvenient but I think it should be manageable with public charging since I don't drive that much. Can some recommend any free/cheap public charging in the city?

Gainesville’s East Side is scheduled to get a new transfer station in late 2027 that will feature three covered canopies that can accommodate six buses, in addition to a 5,210-square-foot facility with a public community room and a staff training room.
 
The RTS Eastside Transfer Station will be built at the Eastside Health and Economic Development Initiative (EHEDI) site off Hawthorne Road. The station will serve as a major connection point for bus routes between east and west Gainesville and reflects the city’s commitment to public transit and economic development.
