Ireland take on Scotland at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this Saturday, with the women's game at 4pm and the men's at 6pm. On a scale from a Junior B match to an All-Ireland final, where does it sit for you? Curious whether hurling folk actually rate it or see it as a novelty.

Hello
We are starting to bring our u7s and u9s indoors for the winter for the first time. We are in England and have never done this before and would like some ideas on what sort of things we could do? Probably have 20 kids in a hall most week.
TIA

Last few times I’ve watched a game back on clubber at some stages in the game it would randomly go back to the start and you have to drag it back to where you were. Anyone else have this problem?

With Navan O'Mahoneys losing the Intermediate final and Simonstown Gaels already relegated it means there'll be no senior football for the Navan area in 2027.
An area of around 35k in a football mad town in a football mad county.

I’m interested in starting a GAA club at my former high school here in the Philadelphia area and would love some advice on how to get things off the ground.
I’m a pretty active alumnus at the school and have some flexibility in my schedule to volunteer a few afternoons a week. I’d love to introduce students to Gaelic games and hopefully build enough interest to establish a club.
Personally, I’d love to get hurling going, but I figure Gaelic football might be an easier starting point for American high school students, especially those who already play rugby, soccer, basketball, or American football.
I’m looking for any recommendations on beginner-friendly coaching resources, instructional videos, training drills, or even presentations/materials I could share with students to introduce them to the sports.
I’d also be interested in hearing from anyone who has helped establish a GAA program at a school, particularly outside of Ireland. What worked, what didn’t, and how did you go about generating interest?
Appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Looking to get back playing Gaelic football here in NY for the first time since I was a teenager, but don’t have a pair of boots anymore.
Was wondering what people generally recommend for Gaelic football specifically. Any brands or models people swear by, or ones to avoid? I live in Queens in NYC so can find pretty much any brand in person to go try on/test out.
Also curious if there’s anything in particular I should be looking for in terms of studs, fit, support, etc. Haven’t bought a pair in years so not really sure where to start. Always just used the same boots I had for soccer but want to buy something specifically for football.
Any advice appreciated!

Been usinga 35 hurl for years looking to get back hurling again and see now most players using hurls a lot smaller than i would exepect. For example Will O Donoghue from Limerick is using a 33 and he is 6ft 4?
Am i missing something here?

64% of players say they are happy with current structure and amateur roots, is this the truth or just because they have no other choice.
EDIT: Guys here me out, 6 teams, usa investors, halftime show, youtube broadcasting, kerry kings vs dublin ducks, could be serious

I have to say I mostly agree with him here. Intercounty managers should be from the county they are managing and club managers should be from the club they are managing. Far too much money getting spent by clubs on this..

Hi all
I've been working on an upcoming game Hurling, Football & Camogie 27 and the steam page has just gone live.
If your interested please wishlist it to keep up to date with announcements, reveals and more.
The game will feature Inter-county competitions + club senior, intermediate and junior level competitions with a completely editable database which can expand each level of each county competitions with up to 12 tiers and a variety of formats.
The game is currently currently has the main parts translated into Irish and I'll look to have it 100% complete on release.
The game currently features local co-op with up to 4 players taking part in a match or tournaments, steam achievements, and I have the majority done for steam workshop integration and Steam remote play together.

Lads , can anyone please put me onto a pair of wide footed boots , every pair I look at has a fairly skinny sole plate , I’m looking to get back into the sport next season , I see people saying puma kings/ ultimate although I’ve not tried them on they look similar to most boots , I’m not looking to spend 100s on a pair but will pay up to 120

Not sure if this is serious or not? It's an impressive piece of engineering but presumably (hopefully!) will not see action in an actual game at any point. I think the GAA's Sliotar & Hurley workgroup have generally been concerned with sliotar specifications - seems like this will be something hurl-related for them!
