Anyone found a decent flashfood alternative that covers more than just produce?
I have been using Flashfood at my local No Frills for a few months, and the $5 produce boxes are genuinely good value when they're available. The downside is that there's not much variety beyond produce at my location. It's mostly bakery clearance and the occasional dairy item, with meat and deli options rarely showing up. I'd really like to find an alternative that has more consistent options, especially protein, since that's where a big chunk of my weekly grocery budget goes.
I recently tried FoodHero at a nearby Sobeys, and I have been seeing meat and bakery items pop up more regularly, which is something I've been missing with Flashfood. I am not saying one is always better than the other because I imagine it depends on your location and which stores are nearby. For now, using both has given me more options than either app alone. Has anyone else in the GTA compared them or found another app worth trying?
