It is my understanding that Season 12 will begin taping the last 2 weeks of October 2026, as mentioned by Matt Donnelly in an interview a few months ago. But On Camera Audiences still doesn't show the schedule.

I need to book a flight/hotel/rental to get there, but would like to confirm the filming dates before I commit.

The CW said they don't have any updates at this time.

Does anyone have "inside" information? (The cost of the flights for end of October are increasing quite a bit... the sooner I know, the better).

Searches have come up empty (big shock anymore). I've been combing through Wikipedia's listings of the acts and the tricks Penn and Teller have done on the show and looking for clips on Youtube, but I am not finding the needle in a haystack (no, it is not Needle in Haystack).

The trick is a mentalist force where they end up with an audience member (or a guest, I'm not sure) looking up a word in the dictionary. The word ends up being "cab" and then a taxi cab drives on stage for their reveal. It is a version of a 1089, I believe.

I am pretty sure it was pre-2020, but I could be wrong.

Any help?

I recently saw Penn and Teller trying to and succeed in fooling David Copperfield where Dave says something something Key in code and they replied by saying something key used to unlock a door or something, I am not sure if its a name of a magician or something more common like 'Palm', 'Load' and stuff

While we're talking about 'Key' why does Jandro get excited whenever he has a key and starts singing? Is it a thing in Spain? Like, where I am from, some people would sing a song as a joke when you say a word thats also the starting word of that song, is it something like that?

It's a multi-part reveal where the "trick" is that there's a secret wheel full of pre-set decks of cards, and then after P&T select a card he spins the secret wheel to get the right deck...but then he drops the walls of the wheel and reveals that there was only one deck the whole time. I'm 99% sure it was a fooler.

Fool Us is famous for its use of “code words” to help hint at what’s going on without giving it away entirely. Having binged the whole show, I thought I’d share some of the common code words and what they mean

Ive seen a few scattered episodes here and there; im finally watching them chronologically I just love these guys.

But from what ive seen, I have a suspicion of a common tactic to get a trophy, and im looking to be corrected if im wrong!

-sometimes it seems like the best way to get a trophy is to develop a trick in a way that would lead them to believe theyre using a common technique for a similar illusion but switch up the technique just a bit..

For example, one could run a variant of the cups and balls which is mostly just done traditionally with sleight of hand and misdirection; and they could instead decide to do an almost identical trick but use trick props instead..

Now teller and penn could discuss "alright we seen this a billion times and we literally teach this act on YouTube.. ima throw out some words like palm and load" and then the magician reveals there was no sleight of hand, they get a trophy..

Is this a thing? Or are they allowed to be like "hol up... so if you didnt do it the classic way; you have collapsible balls and magnets?"

So a few years ago I watched this one magician magician who performed a card trick with P&T through a virtual meeting. I couldn't remember who was this guy but he performed a trick by sending a deck to P&T from his country (or maybe it was their own deck) and do some interactive card trick. I couldn't remember how the trick goes but he almost fooled them. At the end Penn said if he perform this trick with only one of them then he would fooled them individually. Penn said he knew half of the trick which Teller didn't know, and Teller knew half of the trick which Penn didn't know. Do you guys know which act I'm referring to based on my description? I think he came from Spain but I couldn't remember it well and he also a young performer. Thanks guys

However, I haven't seen a new episode here for months. I see new episodes listed on the CW website.

I have my DVR set to record all episodes, but all it has recorded are repeats from years ago.

Hello, I am trying to find an act if anyone can please help me. It was a male magician, and I want to say from outside the US but can't remember where. In the act he has I believe Alyson and/or a spectator picking cards(or clumps of cards) from a deck. He says "take, take, take!" several times, including once where the spectator is asking something like "me...pick?" and he goes "Yeeeeeees, take, take!"

I can't remember if he fooled them or not or what happened in the trick really, it was cool and I wanted to see it again. The magician had a lot of energy and gave a very comfortable feeling like there was no way the trick could go wrong - I remember the constant encouraging of the spectator - "yeeees, taaaake, take, take!"

I am vaguely remembering an end-of-show Penn and Teller trick where they get a mark from the audience and fool them and them only. The audience can see how it’s being done. I distinctly remember the audience member being very visibly confused.

It’s similar to the rings trick from season 2 and the classic knife throwing trick that was on Conan and also Fool Us years later.

Sorry, I’m really having a hard time remembering the details… I just rewatched those two tricks, and I’m pretty sure there’s another one and the same vein.

As kooky as it may sound, I've been scrolling through episodes of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. In one episode from way back in 1975, Mr. Rogers mentions that a magician will be dropping by for a visit later on. I almost fell out of my chair when the magician turned out to be a very unrecognizable Paul Gertner, a mere 40 years before he fooled Penn & Teller!

Whats your guys opinion on this Episode?

Other details I remember is the magician is giving instructions through a recorded video on the screen. Probably around season 1, jonathon ross was definitely the host. It wasn’t a fooler.

The guy calls Alison and start giving her instructions on how to do the card trick, she keeps following and each time a blank card appears with more instructions written on it. At the end the tricks kinda 'self-works' (with the magician never touching the cards or barely), but the magician starts to get excited by the crowd reaction and keeps going further and further with the trick, making it clear it was a rigged deck.

I recall watching an episode years ago where an act was challenged on whether they fooled Penn and Teller or not and they decided in favor of being fooled but afterwards they showed a clip of them backstage and Penn was arguing about whether the act really fooled them. Does anyone remember seeing this? I vaguely remember it being noteworthy because of that behind the scenes argument but don’t know if it ever aired. It may have been season 1

All I remember is that the magician was quite young looking (In his 20s I believe), and when he was informed he fooled Penn and Teller, he froze up and looked at the host (I can't remember if it was Alyson or Brooke, sorry) as he tried to process it. I'm pretty sure he hugged Teller after that.

It’s weird, I know. But sometimes P&T’s love for magic is so genuine, so authentic, that it moves me in a way I can’t describe.

When they’re sincerely impressed and shower the magician who fooled them with admiration and compliments, it really gets me.

Nowadays, things feel so fake, so performative, that seeing people truly in love with their craft just feels… human.

FYI: I’m not a magician.
