Most people come here for Wednesday novenas, but I finally got to explore the 5-story museum and see the carillon bells in person. Such an amazing experience with so much history inside! Highly recommend adding this to your visit next time you're in Baclaran!

I bought luxury branded clothing, perfume, a shoulder bag, and even underwear HAHAHA. Imagine, from always sorting by lowest price sa Shopee to finally buying the things I used to admire from afar! Hindi na rin ako nagtatanong kung alin ang pinakamura.

Not to brag, but as someone na sobrang tinipid ang sarili just to save money, this feels like a huge milestone. Halos lahat ng gamit ko before were from Shopee or affordable Chinese brands. There’s nothing wrong with that, but iba rin pala talaga yung feeling na you can finally afford the things you genuinely want.

It’s not about the brands or the price tags, but the fulfillment of knowing that I can finally afford these things for myself.

A little reminder that hard work pays off and that being financially responsible doesn’t mean depriving yourself forever. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I think I deserve this little win. 🤍✨

i don’t earn that much as a private school teacher, and i rarely take out my parents, let alone my mom. now, she celebrated her 60th birthday and despite not earning that much, nakakataba ng puso makita angsaya ng nanay ko from the massage and a drink plus slice of cake from SB 😭😭

so ayun, papasok onsite today and pagsakay ko sa bus, may iphone sa upuan. mejo kinabahan na ako kasi i didn't know what to do. looked around to see if may parang nawawalan ng phone pero wala akong nakita. so i was like, fvck it kunin ko na and i'll try to find the owner na lang. baka may paraan naman to reach out to them. so i asked a friend kung may way ba, syempre, aside from waiting for them to reach out (kasi baka matagal pa un eh papasok nga ako sa work).

tbh, ayaw ko talaga ibigay sa ibang tao kasi i wanted to be sure na maisosoli sya sa may-ari. nagiisip na akong bumaba at i-risk na ma-late ako for work haha pero thankfully, may naghanap ng phone. and thankfully ulit, sya ung nasa lock screen.

hello!! just wanted to post on here cause i’m in chills talaga and i have nowhere else to express this. i’m a seller on carousell who has been selling items regularly and i’ve only ever had happy buyers because i choose to be authentic in disclosing flaws. selling online is for me to earn and add to my future funds.
mom gave me her sandals to sell, which she bought for a retail price of abt 7,000 php. it was a pair of authentic michael kors sandals. the only flaws were slight fading, tiny chipping of the soles, and just general signs of use, with absolutely no other flaw before it left my house for shipping to a woman who inquired. it was originally listed for 1,200, and then lastly 650 to attract more people and for clearance. she offered 500 bc she said she has to replace the soles daw. 
the morning yesterday, she sent me 10+ messages while i was in school saying she wanted a refund bc the sandals arrived damaged. if i recall from the picture she sent, i think it was the sandal strap being damaged. now, this absolutely was not the case the last time it was in my home. i don’t know lang if it was mishandling of the courier or if she actually damaged the sandals herself. but i don’t know if others would agree; 500 is already a very fair deal for the condition of the sandals before she received ir. and even if the damaged sandal strap was part of the condition when it was with me, 500 would still be part of a reasonable price range bc the other features are relatively fair. she could’ve simply had it repaired for less than 200-300.
my friend and i share the carousell account explicitly stating in our bio that we are students.
we didn’t get a chance to reply to her messages kasi we were super busy this week, so we decided to just block her. 
this evening, she found my personal facebook account bc i assume she also searched for the listing on facebook marketplace, to where i also happen to have crossposted. she was spamming my messages tungkol sa sandals tas nagmumura siya. i genuinely find this really creepy and just plain immature. i’m aware that perhaps it was wrong on my end that we didn’t get to reply to her and went straight to blocking her. i’m in my teens and she seems to be in her 30s-40s. she knows my address, my name, and my face has been posted on my fb account. i already blocked her. though i feel scared over what she could do with those information. kasi alam mo naman yung mga katulad niya. nagdodox tas they’ll leak your name and contact details in their posts abt it out of spite. i don’t know, i’ve actually observed those kinds of actions. 🫩

Not really the magastos type, and no savings yet at 27. I’ve lived my life repairing everything I own—if it's broke, you're sure as hell I'm gonna "fix" it.

​Like my desk of 4+ years whose legs were disintegrating. Took old metal frames, old certificate holders, and a few nails to hold it together—and it's still standing!

​Today marks my celebration of freedom from all current debt and arrears on rent and utility (I really owe them for the leniency and patience for everything). It's been 2.2 years since graduating with 5 pesos to my name, 6 digits in debt, and only hope while I sat in my dark apartment (to save on elec bills) staring at the stars without a plan.

​I'll be finally able to sit comfortably working and not on a plastic monobloc and have a desk that's not off kilter. The lightsaber is just a nice touch to mark the occasion plus I'm a huge nerd for sci-fi and multicolored lights.

I've had these coins forfor about 10 years as part of my collection but ngayon ko lang natitigan ng mabuti each one. Ang cool kasi iba-iba yung mga tao sa barya (may mukha nila Apolinario Mabini, Jose Rizal, Heneral Luna) and other variations pa from piso to 10 peso na very different to what we have on a daily basis today. Don't know if may value pa ito or pwede ipambili but still cool to have them.

Si Mama lang kasi talaga ang nagluluto sa bahay habang ako grind lang nang grind sa work. Pero simula nung nawala siya usually bumibili na lang ako ng ulam sa karinderya or kung ano-anong instant. Neto lang din ako nagsimulang magluto. Umaasa lang sa mga recipe na nakikita ko online. Pero yung adobo talaga, for some reason, iniiwasan kong lutuin. Baka kasi pumalpak. Baka masyadong maalat or masyadong maasim. 😂

Pero today, bumili ng mga rekados yung friend ko at dinala niya rito sa bahay, so no choice ako kundi i-try lutuin. Sabi niya lagyan daw ng Sprite yung adobo. Sabi ko sige subukan ko. And ayon… in fairness, ang sarap naman ng luto ko. 🥺😂

Grabe super nachallenge ako sa puto na to. I baked cinammon rolls, brownies, banana bread, crinckles, cookies, and muffins pero dito talaga ako pinakana-challenge. Talagang di ako mapakali na hindi ko siya maperfect kaya parang every other day gumagawa ako. Hindi siya ganun kaputi kasi hindi clear vanilla ginamit ko, paparating pa lang kasi.
