Grabe super nachallenge ako sa puto na to. I baked cinammon rolls, brownies, banana bread, crinckles, cookies, and muffins pero dito talaga ako pinakana-challenge. Talagang di ako mapakali na hindi ko siya maperfect kaya parang every other day gumagawa ako. Hindi siya ganun kaputi kasi hindi clear vanilla ginamit ko, paparating pa lang kasi. Last 3 photos yung mga palpak kong gawa.

I’ve been a productive member of society for three years now and this is the first time I’ve received an amount exceeding 15,000 in one cut off. For context: for the better part of those three years, I worked as a severely underpaid nurse. For reasons that are beyond me, I somehow managed to stay working for 2 years.

Then early this year, I decided to resign & take the NCLEX to somehow improve my chances at a better life & career.

I passed two months ago, and recently just started working for a company who would pay me this much in just one cut off. In my previous job, this would’ve taken me at least 3 paychecks.

It’s crazy to look back on how far you’ve gotten sometimes and can’t help but be overwhelmed with how much it took for you to get there.

Just overwhelmingly grateful.

Not really the magastos type, and no savings yet at 27. I’ve lived my life repairing everything I own—if it's broke, you're sure as hell I'm gonna "fix" it.

​Like my desk of 4+ years whose legs were disintegrating. Took old metal frames, old certificate holders, and a few nails to hold it together—and it's still standing!

​Today marks my celebration of freedom from all current debt and arrears on rent and utility (I really owe them for the leniency and patience for everything). It's been 2.2 years since graduating with 5 pesos to my name, 6 digits in debt, and only hope while I sat in my dark apartment (to save on elec bills) staring at the stars without a plan.

​I'll be finally able to sit comfortably working and not on a plastic monobloc and have a desk that's not off kilter. The lightsaber is just a nice touch to mark the occasion plus I'm a huge nerd for sci-fi and multicolored lights.

I really can believe my situation. Im struggling as a comp engr 3rd year 1st sem student im both failing my subjects and my mental well-being. Today I wanted go to my second class and my Dad suddenly msg me and told me to go home. I was really struggling both mentally and academically to my studies to the point Dad just told me to just drop my course.

I wasted Dad's work, time and money to my education all those 3 years of my hardwork is now permanently gone today. And im sitting here in my parents bedroom like the most miserable I've felt in my 20 years of living.

Si Mama lang kasi talaga ang nagluluto sa bahay habang ako grind lang nang grind sa work. Pero simula nung nawala siya usually bumibili na lang ako ng ulam sa karinderya or kung ano-anong instant. Neto lang din ako nagsimulang magluto. Umaasa lang sa mga recipe na nakikita ko online. Pero yung adobo talaga, for some reason, iniiwasan kong lutuin. Baka kasi pumalpak. Baka masyadong maalat or masyadong maasim. 😂

Pero today, bumili ng mga rekados yung friend ko at dinala niya rito sa bahay, so no choice ako kundi i-try lutuin. Sabi niya lagyan daw ng Sprite yung adobo. Sabi ko sige subukan ko. And ayon… in fairness, ang sarap naman ng luto ko. 🥺😂

I recently graduated this 2026 and I always compare myself to the achievements of others that accomplished their goals younger than I am.

Like at my age, madaming may mga lisensya na or even two. Eto ako, wishing I stood up to my bullies nalang sana instead of getting depressed and regretting wasting a few years of my life.

My employer gave me one of her never-been-used bags.

As a practical and kuripot girlie, ayoko sanang palitan yung bag na ginagamit ko since college. I only use that one bag for everything, mapa-formal occasions, casual gala, work, or everyday use. Matibay naman kasi siya and good quality, so I never really felt the need to buy a new one. Until last week, bumigay na yung tahi sa handle, so I literally just stapled it kasi wala akong time ipaayos and wala rin akong ibang better bag na pwedeng gamitin.

Then kanina, naiwan ko yung bag ko sa office table. Before ako mag-out, I saw my employer staring at it, then she told me to get one of her bags from a box. Nandun yung mga bnew bags niya, and yung iba naman napagsawaan na raw niya but were still good as new. So when I got the bag she told me to take, dun na ako naiyak.😭

I know it’s not just about the bag. At that moment, I felt so seen. It’s such a small thing, but no one had ever noticed the little things I used or that I needed something better. It’s my first time receiving something simply because I needed it, without even having to ask. I’m just really grateful, and I wanted to share this little moment here.🥹

I've been sailing for a decade now as an engineer onboard pero ngayon lang may ganito sa engine room hahaha nkakatuwa lang!

First time ko ma-experience yung ganito.
I went from having 3 jobs 12-16hrs to having zero work for 4 months.
I think I just reached a point na sobrang burned out na ako. Years of working, juggling responsibilities, and trying to keep everything together eventually caught up with me.
I was dealing with depression and anxiety too. Dumating ako sa point na kahit gusto kong umusad, parang wala na akong energy to do anything. Yung simpleng pag-apply or pag-start ulit, minsan ang bigat-bigat gawin.

Ang hirap din i-explain sa ibang tao kasi from the outside, parang ang dami mo lang free time. Pero mentally, you’re struggling just to get through the day.

Now it’s been 4 months without work. Financially, nakakatakot. Mentally, nakaka-frustrate. Lalo na kapag naiisip ko kung nasaan ako dati compared sa situation ko ngayon.

so ayun, papasok onsite today and pagsakay ko sa bus, may iphone sa upuan. mejo kinabahan na ako kasi i didn't know what to do. looked around to see if may parang nawawalan ng phone pero wala akong nakita. so i was like, fvck it kunin ko na and i'll try to find the owner na lang. baka may paraan naman to reach out to them. so i asked a friend kung may way ba, syempre, aside from waiting for them to reach out (kasi baka matagal pa un eh papasok nga ako sa work).

tbh, ayaw ko talaga ibigay sa ibang tao kasi i wanted to be sure na maisosoli sya sa may-ari. nagiisip na akong bumaba at i-risk na ma-late ako for work haha pero thankfully, may naghanap ng phone. and thankfully ulit, sya ung nasa lock screen.

Fulfilling a childhood wish as an adult is truly magical. I am the youngest of three siblings, and at that time my parents did everything they could to ensure we had quality education, healthcare, and safety. Because of that, it was always a dream of mine to buy a Kinder, but it was far too expensive to buy one for everyone.

When I reached adulthood, I travelled to another city where they were sold in the supermarket. I bought two: one for myself and one for my eldest sister. It was an incredible feeling to open that chocolate for the very first time! In my hometown, they only sell a different version of the product, and that model can cost almost R$30.

Nowadays, we live very comfortably, but it is an enormous realisation to see that, at times, we spend our entire lives trying to fulfil childhood dreams. Those R$14 were a marvellous investment, without a doubt.

Usually hindi ko naman sini-celebrate birthday ko dahil wala akong panahon lagi at makakasama.

This year has been rough. Lost my mom 4 months ago, baon kami sa utang sa medical and burial expenses, lahat ng loans nakuhanan pang ambag sa gastos. Yung sahod ko lahat sa utang napupunta, syempre pangkain pa at bills.

Lunod na lunod ako. Pero yesterday pagtapos ng work ko nagkaroon ako ng urge para mag ayos at lumabas. Yung natitira kong pera eh pinangkain ko ng ramen na matagal ko nang di nalalasahan.

Bumili rin ako ng maliit na cake para sa sarili ko at bulaklak para kay nanay.

Sakto rin na binigyan ako ng bulaklak ng kaibigan ko for my birthday, dinala ko na rin sa mall na parang ako ang pinaka maganda at pinaka mentally stable na tao sa mall.

Ang saya lang. For the first time in 4 months, hindi ako umiyak bago matulog.

Tuloy lang ang buhay.
