Getting away from the fun stories to lay down an important lesson, but please feel free to explore my other posts if you want your mind back in the gutter once done with this one 😝
I can't speak for a single one of you. Your experiences are your own. But I've known enough subs in my lifetime to know that you don't always feel like you're good enough. That you don't offer enough as a sub, as a woman, as a kinkster, as a human being. That why should you get to feel fulfilled when you have insecurities, or that you don't have the creativity of more experienced folks, or that you don't "measure up" to others who do this sort of thing with more extremes.
However, I do believe that I have enough experience to speak about how a good dom or partner or even just online stranger SHOULD react to any reason you might give for having reservations.
You are enough. For all of you. No notes. No "but you could improve by". No "maybe if you were". If any single person tells you that you're not good enough in ANY WAY, but insists on talking to you to make you better? Run. Run away fast.
You don't need to be perfect. You don't need to fit someone else's ideal. You are a human being. Filled with flaws, mistakes, and imperfections. And that is so, so okay.
Not a single person gets to say who is and isn't worthy of feeling happy and gets to explore their wants and needs. And anyone who tells you otherwise can fuck right off.
So what you don't like using the term daddy? Or even sir? Your submission is a gift in any form, you let it form how you wish. So what if you have a disability and it makes it hard to do some of the positions you read about? Doesn't make you any lesser for playing with. You can only handle a couple days of denial before you HAVE to be allowed to cum? Sounds like you know your limits, and they absolutely deserve to be respected.
You are worthy. You are enough. And any good partner is going to make sure to accommodate you, encourage you, and if they're really good, teach you to believe in yourself. Not just empty praise, but truly reinforce the amazingness that you are for this world.
And in case it wasn't obvious, we doms have our doubts too. Hell, the impetus of this post was that I wasn't feeling creative for writing today even though I'd had an idea or two that just didn't work. You are not alone in feeling any sort of disappointment in yourself. But that's okay. You're more than enough no matter how you're feeling.
So be proud. Be proud of being you. Be happy to be with others who want the best for you in life and in kink. And smile knowing that you are more than enough for yourself, for others who deserve you, and for this world.
