I swear to god these people make me long for strawberry blonde in a way I haven’t since I was a teenager. I literally cut all the platinum off my hair for the first time in 20 years earlier this year and istg they’re trying to get me back on the bleach
It’s eminently rewatchable, like truly one of the best TV shows of all time in terms of rewatchability. It’s so paradoxically tender and quietly sweet for a show about high school sports.
I mean, look at the roles he takes on. Plutarch in The Hunger Games prequel, Digger, Civil War...etc. He doesn't go for ego roles, he goes for what he's clearly passionate about and you can tell he's a good guy. Love him & Kirsten!
I felt like Gina had no shot leaving the primaries but I’ve definitely seen a bit more each day to make it feel possible.
I took an hour long walk tonight in a red red part of Texas and saw like 5 Gina signs, a few more Talarico, and no GOP.
I think James has the better shot certainly. But I’m glad to be above 0 on Gina now. There do seem to be at least some Texans that will either split ticket Talarico/Abbott or just vote Abbott and sit out senate.
Feet on the ground, it absolutely feels better for Talarico than it ever did for Beto
My hopes are that the hyperfocus on Paxton/Talarico has (relative) downballot benefits for Hinojosa. As cool as getting Talarico in the Senate would be, getting someone who isn't Greg Abbott in the Texas governorship could be the key to finally getting Blexas in 2028.
Awesome endorsement and I hope it causes some people to read up and decide. The polls say it is close and every voice matters. I think Talarico may do this and I hope he takes the rest of the dems with him. Our kids went through the school enshittification in real time.
I usually decide to go with whoever my favorite actors are voting for. It’s an easy way to make sure things stay balanced. Most are left leaning like me and that works out nice but there’s also a few crazy right wingers in there which keeps it spicy.
Looks way better than a few years ago for that movie he was in, forgot the name but it was before El Camino and reason he was big in that movie. Then after El Camino all people talked about was how he looked.
