I really enjoyed Spider Noir, and they’d probably succeed if they leaned into the Nicolas Cage-ness of it all. It worked with Matthew McConaughey in Season 1.

I figure it probably can't be worse than Season 4, and I actually kind of liked Season 4 for what it was, even if it wasn't amazing or even close to as good as Season 1.

General rule of thumb is Season 1 > 3 > 2 > 4

Season 1 is S-tier television. Season 3 is great. Season 2 and 4 are the weakest, but they both have their moments IMO. I liked them both. Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Vince Vaughn in season 2 were fucking fantastic but the story let them down a bit.

Season 4 is a mess but I think the performances of the leading ladies (Jodie Foster and Kali Reis) were solid

Yeah S4 storyline was a mess but both leads were AMAZING. I wish it had the same number of episodes as the previous seasons.

It’s so hard to live up to s1 TD but here’s to hoping it’ll come close! I think all the seasons post s1 (besides 3, which was good but not amazing) have been pretty mediocre
