Just got back from a screening of You Can See Everything.Ā Genuinely a stellar documentary. I don't want to spoil anything but it's fucking awesome and Nathan Fielder is effortless in showcasing how fucking delusional and out of touch Elizabeth Holmes is. Her and her partner Billy especially are simultaneously deluded and made for each other.Ā There were like moments where I did a legitimate spit take with my soda, where I cackled, and a few where I was either rendered speechless or audibly gasped. I saw it at a sold out theater and the crowd response was incredible. We were all laughing at the absurdity of it all. It's one of the best movies and documentaries I've seen in the last 5 years. Ā
He's so wrong for posting this. I cackled on the inside when I saw it. I think it has to do with Miley's expression yet they are all smiling. But also how is Tish an icon? What does/has she do/done that makes her an icon?

My catās been sick for about a month and we just got some of his test results back and his WBC are sky high, Im a human doctor not an animal doctor so I obviously canāt say for sure but with all the symptoms Iām afraid he might have cancer (specifically a gastrointestinal lymphoma). Heās an older guy, 12 years old, but heās been my everything for so long that I canāt imagine having to say goodbye to him. Itās been weighing a lot on me these past few weeks but today I think it got a little realer. I guess I just wanted to vent idk
This is absolutely the dumbest thing I've heard today, yet I can't stop laughing. MAGAs just can't stop letting themselves be grifted.
So there's this Trump $1 gold coin coming out, and US Treasurer Brandon Beach has said he wants Trump's followers to: āI want to challenge you to go get a roll of Trump dollar coins next month, and then I want you to go to your favorite liberal coffee shop with your Trump dollar coins, buy a cup of coffee and watch their heads explode. They will not like it, but I love it, and I love this president, and I love this coin.ā
OK, so let's do some math. If you want to buy a roll of 25 of these coins, it costs $61. And again, these coins have a legal tender value of $1 each. So you are paying about $2.44 each for something that is worth $1.
Now let's say you go into a coffee shop and buy a $7 latte. You hand over 7 Trump coins. That means you paid about $17.08 for your $7 latte. Yep, that'll own the libs for sure!

Genuine question, do dogs not like it when strangers smile at them? A while ago I smiled at a cute dog on the street and he barked and chased me until I got further away. I donāt really know much aboutā¦ dog etiquette? since (up until recently) Iāve always been afraid of them. And needless to say this incident has set me back even further haha.
I do hope you keep trying to understand dogs and get to meet some friendly ones! They can be fantastic, empathetic and wonderful friends but are often times a direct reflection of their owner.
I'm waiting for my flight back home from a week long business trip and I can say without a doubt that I do not want to travel for work ever again. this was physically and emotionally draining and I just want to sleep for the next two weeks or so.
on the plus side I accidentally networked with a bunch of people who have a mutual dislike of my manager and one of them basically offered me a job if I ever wanted to relocate, so, lol?
Thatās incredible! Whenever I hit a plateau, I actually increase my calories for a day (sometimes by a lot) and Iām usually down at least a pound in a day or two. It could just be a quirk of my body, but sharing in case it helps!

Iām kind of nervous and excited because tonight is the first official night of me dealing crew as Costume for my colleges play. We are doing the Scottish play. This whole thing is intense. Iāve only done the film side, but Iāve never realized how intense theater is like I could be told about it, but I never realized until you were experiencing it and for me for my first time, it is so much bigger because usually the only thing Iāve done in terms of like plays or anything, push things around or at least do some singing thatās it. Itās never been anything on a much more bigger scale.
oh I did costumes for a show in high school! it was probably the most fun I've had doing anything backstage. Just focus on having everything ready for the quick changes you're responsible for and be ready for anything because shenanigans can and do happen all the time. break a leg and have fun!!
Oh, Iām definitely trying to make sure and I still remember everything. It just doesnāt help because itās just like itās the buttons like these clip ones because theyāre so hard to connect, especially when it comes to the stuff that is on the.
Unfortunately, Costume Designer will not be there tonight so we have to wait until next week for any changes so thankfully there are people who will know how to like stitch anything there

Going to be literally doing that. Thankfully, itās not as crazy after the first half. I just feel very insecure like is that normal for your first time because Iām so used to doing the entertainment field and itās just like Iāve done night shoots yet hopefully weāll get to learn, but honestly, this is the first time I really feel insecure.
I get that for sure. Movies, they yell cut and you can get things done. The clock doesnāt stop for theatre. Itās higher pressure for sure, plus itās like any new experience. Of course youāre nervous, you havenāt done it yet! By the time the run is over, youāll be an old pro!
Iād say be on time and on top of your cues in the case of quick changes and stay attentive. Thereās a lot of hurry up and wait backstage, but you never want to have anyone waiting on you. Itās an intense play so try not to take it personally if anyone is short with you, within reason. That doesnāt give actors or crew permission to be jerks. Other than that, have fun and break a leg! Ā
Oh, Iāve been staying on my keys and Iāve been not trying to be mean to anybody or anything even though Iāve been like oh my gosh, how do you guys do this?
I even apologize to the actors anytime Iām clipping because I know my nails can be a bit sharp as a guy. itās just like I said earlier itās just clipping things like a cape or whatever it may be itās very hard

Successfully organized a work event! Iām neurodivergent, and this shit is not up my alley. Itās not even in my part of town! But I pulled it off (I even delegated and got a lil bossy lmao) and it went off great š
Interviewed for a job yesterday that I really want and couldnāt sleep all last night afterwards. Trying to tell myself itās my gut preparing me for a change.
Too much cheek filler and a shit-ton of "preventative" botox. I kind of wonder if the botox is to supposedly counteract the effects of so many celebrities smoking/vaping.
My city is having it's marathon tomorrow, and it goes through my neighborhood, so I'll essentially be boxed in my house til early afternoon. I don't have any plans to go anywhere, but knowing I CAN'T is gonna give me massive cabin fever and I know I'm gonna try to go out and dodge runners at some point.
Also I made a really tasty white bean and kale soup yesterday!
I feel for ya! Our city's marathon is also this weekend, and for some reason all in the general downtown area this weekend we have The Quarterhorse Congress, a Jonas Brothers concert, a sold out Twenty One Pilots concert at Ohio Stadium, a No Kings Rally, the library big book sale at the main library downtown, an NHL game, a Supernatural convention at the convention center, marathon events on Saturday and the full marathon on Sunday so streets are closing starting today. Oh, and the Ohio Dept of Transportation decided this would also be an amazing weekend to close down one side of the main freeway across downtown right in the busiest parts of the freeway to do road work, so that's gonna force drivers right into the clot of JoBros fans/Twenty One Pilots fans/cheap book enthusiasts/horse people/protesters/SPN fans/NHL fans all trying to travel on the the handful of roads with no marathon closures. Nobody talked to each other before planning all this stuff in the same 72 hour window I guess.
So once I leave work I am not setting a foot downtown again until Monday because I'm not that crazy lol!
It's this one, from The Enchanted Broccoli Forest by Mollie Katzen! My store didn't have escarole, but kale works really well. If/when I make it again I'll probably use stock for at least part of the liquid, though.
E: also we topped it with pesto, which I'd strongly recommend
Since I mentioned it in the comments a few days ago, Iāll tell the whole story here. It was in the year of our Lord 2010/11 or so, and I found out from a photo he himself posted on Twitter that John Barrowman (Captain Harkness in Doctor Who) was visiting my city in southern Spain.
At the time, I was a huge Doctor Who fan, so I grabbed my DVDs of the first two seasonsāthe ones I hadāand off I went with my gay friend (not that being gay is important to this story, but I told him it was his gay duty to come with me to see a gay model like John Barrowman was back then).
Anyway, we waited around the area and spotted him right away. He was with his husband, his sister, and her husband, and he was really lovely. He took photos with us and everything. He was so excited that I was a Doctor Who fan because he didnāt know it was being broadcast in Spain.
However, what surprised us most was that his sister couldnāt believe we were from the city! She was so shocked and kept asking us whether we really were from there. Born and raised, yes.
Oh, and when he was signing my DVDs from the second season, he asked me which episodes he appeared in, and I (super nervous) told him I couldnāt remember. Then, once I got home, I realized that he actually wasnāt in that season. He signed David Tennantās face, in any case, haha.
He was veeery lovely, and itās a really fun memory.
I'm torn because I'm currently in rehearsals for a new play, but we missed almost a week's worth of sessions due to other cast members coming down with something. I was planning on leaving for a couple of days next week, but now I'm really afraid to bring it up with the director given how much time we lost š¤
