Here she is. My most grand endeavor. There are certain points where I feel I can comfortably restore this garment and other points that feel very shaky. Any advice would be so much appreciated.

Vintage Rayne London
Sharing as i thought others may appreciate these gorgeous shoes! My mother and I were looking through some of her shoes and handbags and found these bad boys. I remember thinking how glamorous she looked wearing them! She bought them early to mid 80s (possibly). From Harrods for the princely sum of £195! I have no idea when I will wear them, but I will!

Design Thesis Questions!
Hey everyone. I’m in my last year of Brand Design, and my thesis is on tailoring. I’m looking into how people see the craft, who still calls themselves a tailor, and where it’s going.
I’m still in the research stage, so your answers will help shape what I end up making. The survey takes about 5 minutes and the questions change depending on whether you’re a tailor, a fashion student, someone who sews, or just someone who buys clothes!
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd6BR3X7zVbRK-MZDL8NHoV9MSrdeQTViLL-ryYhtquPq860g/viewform
Also curious: would you call yourself a tailor, a designer, or neither?
Thanks so much! Your insights will really help me out.
