I competed and coached in VEX for 10 years, so I'm not an FRC insider. RFORCE already rates VEX teams from official event results, and as of 15 minutes ago it also covers the 2026 FRC season: about 3,700 teams, official events only, each with a season rating built from qualification results, playoffs and awards.

All of the data comes from The Blue Alliance and event data provided by FIRST. Thank you to both. RFORCE doesn't work without that open data.

What's in it:

- Team ratings and ranks.

- Individual ratings by role: Driver, Programmer, Builder, plus Coaches.

- Awards only earn points if their criteria judge engineering talent or robot performance. That call is mine and I'm open to being argued out of it.

What looks wrong to you? A team too high or too low, a role that doesn't make sense, an award I weighted badly, an event that's missing. I'll answer everything and fix real bugs.

You can also claim your profiles: there are drivers, programmers, builders and even coaches, ALL RANKED. I approve each claim myself.

I would like to see what people have gotten for FRC Tattoos. This would have to graduates or mentors. I have been thinking about the logo with game elements from all 15 games I participated in.

Does anybody have any footnotes/experience with the AndyMark and/or ThriftyBot swerve kits? We want to bring back our swerve drive this year and im looking for recomendations for either kit. We like the swerve drive we have, which is the Rev Robotics kit, but our biggest issue is how difficult it is to change out the wheels during competition. Anything about the wheels? Any other relevant information is appreciated too. Thanks!

what is each of yalls favourite frc year and why?

Hello! I'm not exactly sure where to put this post, so I'm adding it to multiple places. Anyway, I have a project and I'm curious about cyberbrick.

I want to build a mini frc robot that's 3d printed and uses cyberbrick as it's main control (if you guys believe it would be good) it will be scaled to a nerf rival ball and be a hopper bot with a spindexer and single turret (either fixed or rotating depending on space)

It will work just like a normal full scale one, and have an Omni directional drivetrain with the use of four motors in an x style drivetrain. It will also need one motor for a spindexer, one for an intake, one for lifting the intake, and one for a turret flywheel (and maybe turning the turret)

Will cyberbrick parts be able to do all this with one controller? What would that many parts cost? Do you guys have any ideas on what compact electronics systems I could use instead that are cheap?

Hello!
So my team is beginning an initiative to help with domestic violence awareness and we have plans for a large ish fundraiser involving FLL and FTC that would raise money for a women’s shelter in the area that has been struggling. Someone on our team proposed going for the Impact Award because we’ve never done that before and a large team goal is to expand our team in every direction possible (including outreach!)
My question is essentially is it worth it to apply this year given we are just starting the initiative? I thought it may have a chance because we are including so many younger FIRST members that will presumably join our team in high school so it gives them the insight on how we can continue it into many years to come.
Sorry if this is a stupid question; we have never tried something on this large of a scale and I am a bit lost especially because there is a change of coaching this year to someone with no FRC experience and I am taking the brunt of the work on most team driven ideas for the time being. Any help is appreciated!

So I was a also mechanical lead in my team untill i graduated, and one of my friends from a different team who is their mechanical lead, offered me to be a mentor

What am I supposed to do? Like how to act and what to say as a mentor? Anything I should know before?

Channel 5 on our PDH is not working but the other channels are working just fine. It has the latest firmware but I am not exactly sure what is going on. We switched channels and the sparkmax+neos worked well. Then we tried it again after and it wasn’t working at all. We didn’t change anything at all in the wiring or anything. It was flashing orange and cyan and our mentor thinks we might be frying our spark maxes because we had another one die in that same connection.

i love hearing about other teams funny stories so thought it would be funny to ask here.
it could honestly be anything, craziest ways youve had to fix a robot, funny match videos, even stupid shit youve done with your teammates at an event.

My teams t-shirts and hoodies are fine but I want to make something that looks nicer. What teams have really good designs and what are some ideas.

All FIRST Robotics Competition teams will receive a 4 GB Systemcore in the 2027 Season Specific Box of the Kickoff Kit and will be required to use Systemcore for the 2027 season.

I'm not sure where to start.

I am a Junior who is also the lead CAD. Our team has been struggling lately, and we want to compete again. We didn't compete in 2026.

I'm going to start on 2024 when I was a freshman. We were a solid team; we were able to make a robot. It wasn't good, but it functions! We had a good CAD person and a jack of all trades. Sadly, they were seniors. I wish we could've had them leave resources or pass down their knowledge. And so, we were in shambles after graduation. We decided to build a test bot to test mechanisms.

2025 came a long and our manager had to pull the plug. We weren't experienced and we were low on team members. So, we decided to make a robot that follows the rules of 2025 frc.

Slowly by slowly people started to leave. I wasn't a great CAD technician all by myself. I looked into FRCDesign.org and learned through it. What sucks was that I didn't create fast enough and so people were bored and I think that was the reason why they left. I wasn't that motivated.

To this day, we're slowly doing better. It seems like we're going to compete again with newer people. I want to teach people CAD, but they don't seem motivated. Only one person is but they won't learn outside of club. (We're like a team of 6 not including mentors) I think the hardest part is getting people that are passionate or willing to learn join. We got only 2 mentors (I'm trying to get an engineering professor to join).

I designed a shooter and the intake and chassis. I'm not sure why but I'm just not feeling motivated at all designing the hopper now. I feel like it would make CAD soooo much more enjoyable if I at least had someone to do with. Multiple revisions of the shooter. I must say I'm so much better when I learned through FRCDesign.org

I want to leave knowledge whenever I graduate. I really want this team to work out. I think I'll be a bit busier now that I'm in running start though. How can I motivate people to learn? How can I, myself enjoy doing CAD on robot again?

I do enjoy cad really. But, looking at the robot makes me feel somewhat unmotivated as we barely make any progress.

About the people:
There's this coder who's a senior. He's been really awesome and passionate about robotics. He's trying his best now to contact business teachers and such.

There are three siblings WHO aren't inclined to learn much and would rather build. Although I think I can definitely convince one of them.

There's this person who's my friend and I'm not sure what he wants to do. He is willing to learn CAD but not outside of school, I think.

What can we do to succeed?

Seriously, this program is about teaching students STEM and part of that is programming, yet, the org's own website is horrendously slow and take forever to do simple actions.

The new Dashboard is meh, it forces an entire roster reload to approve a members invite. It's seems as though nothing is cached.

I wanna know 2 things, first of all when are we officially going to be able to but the system core and second of all are the can output connected to each other or there are different and if they are different how the duplicate can id would work?

My team is slowly falling apart and we are trying to save it. I am sophomore and I am going to have to be electrical lead this year with no one who has had past experience to help. If you have any resources to help please let me know I have to completely self learn.

Has anyone else heard there’s not safety animation award this coming season?
