When applying to the FBI what’s a good list of bachelor degrees to pursue.

Coming from AD infantry heading into college. I have a plan on minoring in mandarin and deciding on a valuable major.

The DOJ has decided that pursuing the enemies of trump is appropriate, whether there is any justification or not. Does anyone believe that the DOJ will ever be able to reclaim the respect they had before? I don't.

I got notified via email for phase 2 writing portion but trying to locate the portal to see if there’s a scheduling option for PT Test with no luck.

There was a post two weeks ago regarding the 2027 FBI CHI coming soon. I know there were issues with the hack and the website. Now it's just the Join the Mission form on the site and I haven't seen anything new about the CHI program. Does anyone have any details on when the CHI will become available? Additionally, has anyone received any contact or heard anything after filling out the interest form on the FBIJOBS site?

Does someone from the FBI have any official information about what's going on with it? I've heard it was supposed to reopen on September 23rd, but have heard nothing since after the portal got cooked.

Hi all,

I applied to a non-special agent, professional role, eventually receiving the email months later that I was determined qualified and my application was sent to the local hiring manager. Last week, approximately one month after that, I received an email from an Administrative Specialist stating the position is in the interview scheduling phase, requesting me to respond with whether I was still interested in pursuing the opportunity as “my prompt response would help finalize the interview schedule.”

I affirmatively responded less than an hour from when they sent the email and haven’t heard anything further. Can’t check the applicant portal as it’s still down. I called the number listed with the Administrative Specialist’s email signature and left a voicemail just confirming receipt of my reply. Anyone have any information on what I should expect from here, next steps, or other follow up attempts I should make for a non-special agent role?

Does anyone, who has gone through the FBI HIP application and background process, have a rough estimate of the timeline (from application to FJO)?

I understand it will take a long while, but just wanted to get some insight from others who have been through the process before.

Additionally, did you apply to other internships while undergoing the background investigation? Obviously this is my first choice, but I don’t want to be left with nothing on the chance that I don’t receive a FJO.

This is probably the only good idea this entire Administration has ever developed thus far.

I’ll be attending the FBI BFTC this January and wanted to hear from anyone who’s already been through it.

What does a typical day look like? I’m especially curious about the daily schedule, physical training, academics, and what downtime looks like during the week and on weekends.

Any advice or insight on what to expect would be greatly appreciated!
