Like what the title say has anyone taken mark kohlbeck for cost accounting was hoping for feedback of his class like should I take his class online or in person because as of right now I saw his rating on rate my professor and yeesh I would take another professor for cost but it’s Mitch bruckner and that’s it. I know that there has been opportunities for commercial music ensemble for non-majors in 2025, but I don't see any information about opportunities for 2026/2027. Does anyone else know more about this? Also, what other music opportunities are there on campus? I haven't seen any clubs or anything of the sort but i want to meet other musicians

For those unaware, Fried Chili Cheese Dogs (shortened as FCCD) is a plush sketch comedy YouTube channel with a history spanning since 2007. I’ve seen multiple stickers of their channel all over Boca campus in varying conditions, but I have no idea how they got there or why specifically this channel is being shown off.

It’s interesting to me for two reasons:

• The stickers were handled with care, with a large amount of lamination visible in each image, and put in generally out of the way locations. I assume anyone who did this wanted it to last.
• The stickers are advertising a YouTube channel nearly two decades old that has no connection to Florida, Boca Raton, or FAU.

It’s possible all of this is just an avant-garde shitposting effort, but I just wanted to know if anyone else noticed these in Boca.

I work full-time and plan to finish my AA at Valencia College in April 2027. I’m trying to decide between UCF and FAU for my online accounting bachelor’s degree. My biggest concern with UCF is that the accounting program seems to be mainly face-to-face, and I need a program I can complete online while working full-time.
FAU offers a fully online BBA in Accounting, so I’m wondering if it might be the better option.

Would you recommend FAU over UCF, and what has your experience been with either school’s accounting program?

I just got the new SAT scores I got a 1190. I’m not to sure if I’m eligible for in state so considering whether I’m in state or out of state what are the chances I’m in? My GPA is a 4.10 and I have a few extracurriculars though I’m pretty sure FAU doesn’t look like that

Hey everyone! I’m a high school senior planning to apply to FAU for Fall 2027 and I’m trying to figure out how realistic my chances are.

Here are my stats:

• High school state GPA: 3.0
• Lee County GPA: 3.9
• Dual enrollment/college GPA: ~2.83
• Current SAT: 840
• Retaking SAT: November 7
• Dual enrollment: FSW
• On track to graduate with my AA
• Intended major: Psychology
• Florida resident
• 900+ work hours

I know my SAT is definitely my weakest point right now, and I’m working on bringing it up. I also have a pretty strong upward-growth story and plan to write a good essay explaining my academic journey.

FAU is my #1 choice, so I’m just wondering how realistic this is.

Would you consider FAU a reach for me, or do I actually have a decent shot?

Also, if anyone here got into FAU with similar stats, I’d really appreciate hearing what your GPA/SAT was and whether you were a dual-enrollment student.

I do classes online because I have to work full time. This semester I did calc and mircoeconomics, and an accounting class for the first half of the semester.

The first half so far has been a struggle but manageable. (Basically had no social life, but I gotta do what I gotta do.)

I'm wondering if there's anyone whose taken the expedited classes, and how the workload of that class is compared to regular full semester classes.

Like would it be easier if I took 4 full semester classes or should I do a mix where I take 2 full semester classes and one for the first half and another for the second half?

My thought is if the fast pace work of one expedited class is equivalent to 2 full semester classes?

Fau has a dumb rule where you have to finish your bacholars within a certain time, but working full time makes it a bit difficult to finish within the time frame they gave me.

Now the Owls. After the opener in Gainesville, it's been three straight wins: 38-30 over Navy in the American opener, the Shula Bowl 16-10 over FIU, and Saturday's 45-17 at ULM. Veltkamp went 29 of 38 for 314 and two scores with no picks, a 28-point second quarter put it away, and the defense shut ULM out after halftime.

That's 3-1 and 1-0 in the American in year two under Zach Kittley. Texas Southern comes to Boca Saturday at 6 on ESPN+, a tune-up before the trip to Army.

Deadline was 25th and I didn’t even see I won the scholarship until today (27th).
I’ve never won a scholarship before so I didn’t know how quick the whole process was.

I had hung 3 different things on my walls using velcro strips and I went to change the placement of one of the items, and the strip peeled up the paint. I know I can hide it and get away with it until the end of the year, but what do I do when it's time to move out? The strips are about 2x2in squares. Would I get in more trouble just leaving it how it is, with patches of paint missing, or trying to fix it myself by filling it in and doing my best to color match the paint?
