Personal Care Pan Not-quite-the-end-of-October empties

Post image

Hey all! I'm back and a little early this month. I finished some larger items so I decided to do a mid-month post. I love that Tree Hut body oil so much. It smells delicious, it's affordable and it's deeply hydrating. It's also great for layering with the other Tree Hut products. The other standout is the hello deo. It's 1/2 the price of other brands and works just as well and smells delish.

Now that I've posted early, I'm hoping I can get through enough empties to justify another post at the end of the month! I have a lot of stuff that has a just a few more uses before it's gone so fingers crossed!

Tea/Coffee Pan Okay, I think it’s time to finally tackle my tea problem 🧎‍♀️

Post image
167 Upvotes

Worst part is, I’m a coffee person on most days </3

i currently own 158 tea bags and 6 things of loose leaf tea, which is absolutely ridiculous.

My approach to start will be to replace my morning coffee with these Whittard Earl Grey loose tea bags and start a new habit of making a Pukka chamomille every night.

Starting with those because they’re the ones I want out of my collection the most :’) Earl Grey is my favourite by far, but I hate the loose tea bag format. I don’t mind Pukla’s chamomille, but I only have so many because I accidentally bought a second box of the same thing a while back and now I get pissed at the amount of chamomille I have every time I look at my collection.

Any advice welcome :D

Another month down how is it already spooky season?

Sol de Janeiro Danca Mistica Perfume Mist: Yo this thing is STRONG. I like the scent I know thats an unpopular opinion. Towards the end of the bottle I was lowkey getting sick of it though so probably would not repurchase.

Composition Notebook: Y’all I survived neuro hallelujah

Naturewell Cheeky Hair and Body Fragrance Mist: I like this better than sol de Janeiro 62. I would not repurchase though because I love trying new scents

Anua Azelaic Acid 10 and Hyaluron Serum: This was genuinely the worst thing I have ever put on my face. Would not repurchase.

Dove Ice Cream Parlour Strawberry Swirl Body Wash: This smelled nice I just think I am not a big fan of strawberry scents. I know my nose is wack. I cannot wait to try the new scents for fall though

Yankee Candle Balsam and Cedar Car Freshener: This smelled NICE. I loved it so much but I have a refillable car freshener that I will continue to use after I am finished with the variety pack of these.

Bigelow Botanicals Strawberry Lemon and Orange Blossom Cold Water Infusion: Why did I even buy this like what was I on. This tasted nasty but I powered through so I can buy more tea in Banff HEHEHEH

La Mer the Moisturizing Water Cream: Also sucked I do not understand why everyone and their mom raves about this 100$ moisturizer. Do not recommend.

Dr. Reddy’s Depiwhite Cream: I really like these I feel like they really help with hyperpigmentation but these did expire so they do not work as well as they did a year ago.

Not Your Mother’s Dark Hair Clean Freak Dry Shampoo Palo Santo: This smells amazing, works so well and I love the price of this. I want to try their other scents eventually.

Arencia Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser: This works it has nice little exfoliating beads but also Took off all of my makeup I recommend. Definitely try to get the 2-pack from Costco though.

TreeHut Lisa Frank Sugar Sky Shea Sugar Scrub: I loved this scent it’s probably the only banana scent I can tolerate. I want to try the new fall scents that just came out.

Bath and Body Works Costa Rica Pink Pineapple Sunrise Hand Cream: Smells good, not the most moisturizing but it was cheap during the semi-annual sale. Loccitane reigns supreme in this department but too bad I’m broke

Blistex Medicated SPF 15 Lip Balm: Probably the only stick lip balm that I like and this was amazing I would 100% repurchase.

Hourglass Unlocked Tubing Mascara: This was suprisingly really good it was very clumpy at first though but once it dried out a little, amazing results.

EOS Cocoa Cashmere Lotion: RIP to a legend for real. She is not completely gone from my life do not fret I just had to depot it into a container and mix it with another lotion for my trip but she will be missed.

Cheap Med School Backpack that ripped after 2 uses: At that point just don’t give us any merch at all

Bones Army of Dark Chocolate Ground Coffee: This was good definitely not my favorite flavor from the brand but I love their other flavors.

Bath and Body Works Country Chic and Rainkissed Leaves Body Cream: These smelled amazing but obviously did not last as long as their other scents since they are more on the lighter side. Perfect for the hospital.

Declutter: Nail file, Hair tie that broke, and 2 Nail polishes that went goopy (I would have bought a thinner but I have similar colors already so I figured let’s just toss it)

Stationery Pan Stationery pan

Over the last 3 years I panned all of my envelopes and was sooo 🤏🏽 close to buying one of those packs that have 100 envelopes because I needed ONE. But.

I asked my sister first if she had any spare ones and turns out she has a whole drawer she's trying to pan 😅 she was more than happy to give me some and I was happy to not have spent money on something she was actively trying to pan (plus I'm glad I now don't have 99 unused envelopes lying around). PAN SUCCESS! 😂

Stationery Pan Panning 30 year old acrylic paint/loving myself enough to have a hobby! 🎨

Why do I have 30yr old acrylic paint from elementary school? Why have I moved it dozens of times and thousands of miles, unused?

Long story short: CRIPPLING PERFECTIONISM!

The inner voice that says “don’t use that if you can’t use it perfectly.” The focus on productivity that lies to us and says that you don’t deserve the joy of frequent creativity. The falsehood that you must make a finished project - how dare you live in the moment and like it?!

These are my mental-health-preserving perfection-bashing perfectly imperfect pieces of trash art. Now it’s a race to use up this degrading paint and enjoy EVERY LITTLE BRUSHSTROKE (and not a moment more)! No guilt about stepping away to start something new, no pressure to finish, JUST JOY! 💖💖💖

We aren’t promised tomorrow. Find your joy today. Use it up, y’all!

Frenshe Lavender Cloud: essentially I associate this scent with bedtime now. I have another tub of the body butter next to my bed already it’s so rich without feeling greasy.

Loved this ogx coconut pair but currently trying raw sugar lychee S&C and might just like it more 🤷‍♀️

Method body is an easy staple for me and this scent also smells and feels like bedtime for me as well 😴

Lastly, I loved how the up&up sunscreen felt on my skin! Not heavy or sticky but felt like it protected me well outside a lot this Summer.

Discussion I need help

I’ve been trying to really hop on this trend/ build this habit to hit pan in all of my products but I just have some trouble with some things

So basically, I had this really bad habit of buying random stuff that may or may not work, but I’ve come to realize that there are things that don’t suit me for example I have this shampoo that really makes my hair stick together. I really need to empty out and use the whole thing but I can’t because my hair keep breaking. Or makeup products that really don’t suit my complexion or tend to break me out

WHAT DO I DO

Everything Pan I think I’ll be staying away from Dove shampoos.

Endlich fertig.

Was das Kneipp Duschgel angeht: völlig in Ordnung. Nichts Schlimmes, nichts Besonderes. Orange. Sehr orange. Jetzt können wir das Thema wechseln.

4/10 Dove Shampoo 🧴 5/10 Duschgel 🧼

Love so many of these.

Carpe deodorant in Coconut Vanilla - love!

Saltair body oil - favorite sent is Shea Soleil. Enjoyed Santal Bloom as well.

BBW white tea and sage hand wash - smells amazing

L’Oréal Elvive gloss conditioner. Sooo good with the shampoo.

Dr Teal’s body wash and body scrubs are classic and fabulous.

Dove Anti-bacterial soap -iykyk - use for my first cleanse a few times a week.

Medicube eye cream was good. Not sure I saw any specific results though.

Elf Soft Glam foundation. Good. Not my everyday go to but I would repurchase.

Witch Hazel - I always keep this in stock.

Byoma gel cream - a must!!! So hydrating.

Dermasil toner (I put it in a spray bottle) - love it! So good for $1.25 from Dollar Tree.

Brazil Nut body oil and body wash from Trader Joe’s. Smells amazing and I have repurchased.

Marie Clare eyebrow and eyelash serum. Decent for $1.25. I think it works but it takes time.

NYX eyebrow pencil. My absolute favorite!!

Palmer’s cleansing oil - always a repurchase. Use it as my first cleanse to remove makeup.

I was really excited to try the salt and stone body wash… but I was disappointed for the price point it’s definitely overrated. Glad I only bought a small size!

Oribe, Byoma, Dove and Crest Mouthwash are all OG’s and I will be purchasing again!

*** My dog Mika (photo for cuteness) had her first ever pan as well!! Finally after 6 years she finished the bottle of Chi dog shampoo.

Everything Pan First time for Project Pan! This feels so good!

Post image

I have adhd and ocd, and I have accumulated so much stuff through freebies, gifts, and my own shopping. I love the idea of using beauty and self-care items and other things, but I get more of an enjoyment with getting the item or ordering it and tend to forget about it after and rarely use any of the stuff I've accumulated.

I want to change and I discovered project pan so I'm really excited to start using stuff that has just been collecting dust around my house.

The DP hue gloss is my fav for my copper hair with strawberry highlights. The L’Oréal iron sleek coat has replaced the color wow spray in my routine. I hate finished the cocokind and Caudalie sunscreen. I love the warming eye masks to use before bed as a contacts wearer.
