I built a small proxy to share one HDHomeRun tuner with remote media servers, with per-viewer limits and a web UI
A friend has an HDHomeRun and I wanted it for Live TV in my own Plex. Plex only shares Live TV inside a Plex Home, so I'd been running a socat relay on his server and iptables DNAT rules on mine. It worked until the tuner's DHCP address changed, and I never knew who was using it.
So I built Antennarr: a small proxy that sits in front of an HDHomeRun and rewrites its API. A remote media server just adds host:port like any other tuner, with no DNAT or relay on their side. You choose who can use it and how many tuners each viewer gets (and keep some free for your own TVs). It finds the tuner again by DeviceID if its address changes, and there's a web UI that shows who's watching what.
It works over Tailscale, any VPN, or the same LAN. MIT licensed, a single Go binary, and a Docker image for amd64 and arm64.

It's early. I've only tried it with Plex and one FLEX 4K. There's no TLS and no passwords, only an address allowlist, so keep it on Tailscale or a VPN and off the open internet. I built it with a lot of help from an AI coding assistant (Claude Code). Feedback and issues are welcome, especially from Jellyfin and Emby users.
