ElectroBOOM Question Tell me why this is a bad idea

A while ago, I bought this cheap trimmer and instantly regretted it when I first used it. I kept it because I hate throwing things away that still work. Not long after that, the battery started to get weaker and I ran it while plugged in which worked okay. Today however I wanted to shave off my unibrow and trim my beard and that stupid thing stopped working for good.
I went to rage fix it with little to no knowledge of electronics. So I opened it and saw that some water must have gotten in there and killed the battery. Well handy as I am, I figured out a perfect solution. Just rip out the battery and all the unnecessary stuff and connect the motor directly to the power input. And it works fine! I mean sure it turns on the moment I plug it in and runs like an old airplane motor, but I can use it. I probably should avoid getting it wet now I guess.
What do you think?

Non functioning garbage
Ripped out unnessesary stuff
Perfectly safe repair job
rusty battery contacts
still shitty but working machine

ElectroBOOM Question I'm wondering how did the hand crank destroy his cell phone

Luckily the battery did not explode because
Probably the charging ic or the pmic ic sacrifice itself before blowing up the battery

Non-ElectroBOOM Video DIY 3s Balance charger.

So I made this 3S Balance charger that uses three TP4056 modules and three 230VAC to 5V DC modules so that they can work together and charge eatch string of cells individually, this makes it so that every time you charge your battery you make sure that it will be balanced once fully charged and no cells can stop charging before they are fully charged like with a normal chargers. And the best part is this is scaleable to how many strings you want even a 100s1p pack. Every module have to have an personal galvanically isolated power source so if you don't have 5V power supplies you can use three phone adapters instead using the usb port. It's very important that the power supplies are isolated from eatch other, you can't use one power source for all three modules. I don't remember exactly why but if i am not mistaken the GND is chared by the input and output making it impossible to series connect the output if you parallel the input making a shortcurcuit.

interesting connector for a pool water filter. I'm sure no one lost the original cord and used a line voltage cord
