Buying my first Ducati this weekend
Hey All,
Buying my first Ducati on Saturday (a '26 monster in Sport Livery). Already looking at exhaust; I've already heard the Termignoni and it was 'ok'. Outside of this, what are some of your favorites?

Legit?
Anyone have had an experience purchasing from ducatibros.com?

New UpMap for 2025 V2
Just saw new UpMap map released
Anyone know real specs of the new “RACE Map”?
I already have the Arrow map installed. And it’s great.
Was going to flash the new one and test it out.

SFV4S Oil Leak
Hey everyone,
Early days, here is my SFV4S, 2024 model but 2025 VIN. 13500km, and aside from the standard service it had an oil change at 7500km. I bought it in Spring of 2025 new.
All that is fairly moot, as you can see I have an oil leak. This is ~2 weeks ago, I had it towed home as it was a weekend and my local dealership were closed.
Dealership picked it up, and phoned me today to tell me the news. As suspected, it is a rear Valve Cover Gasket failure. However it is not as simple as just a new gasket, the service department says they have asked Ducati what to do next, as they found a valve shim (allegedly, I haven't been in to see it yet) had been caught between the Cylinder Head and the Valve Cover, which has now been pressed in to both sides of the metal (the Cover and the head itself)
They added that the appropriate number of shims was present in the locations that they are meant to be, but this could just be an extra one that the tech building my particular engine missed/dropped.
All that to say, now we wait for Ducati to come back and decide what they want to do. In the eyes of my dealer, they say it could be a new Cylinder head + valve cover (and whatever else is prescribed), or it could be a new engine.
Fortunately, my bike is still under warranty. For this to happen on my way to work (almost all right hand turns) at the end of the season and before my warranty runs out in ~8 months, I consider myself quite lucky.
I'll try to remember to keep the reddit updated on how this goes. My only real question for you guys is - have you seen something like this before? And what would you expect with regards to customer care and ensuring the bike comes back to me in good shape. I am satisfied, so far, with my dealerships take on the issue, and obviously can't speak for Ducati as its too early for a response off them yet.

New Exhaust installed
Finally put on the exhaust with link pipe. No servo needed on 26 models Panigale. The servo motor is by the headers. Now I got flames spitting. Can’t be happier to know people can hear me coming.

Monster 1200 Mod Questions
I am looking to do a bit more moding on my bike. As much as I love the 25th Anni colors, there is a lot going on. I have a couple of questions though.
- Exhaust: Its freaking hot. I never complain about the temp here in Texas or my other Ducati's producing heat but damn, its hot. Does cerakoting the pipes make it better?
- Silver: I'm trying to eliminate all the silver on the bike that I can. New handle bars, carbon radiator covers, 1200R rear swing arm, upgrade to a 43t rear sprocket and rear sets.
- Is there a way to cover the engine on the left side black without all the off brands logo's and not replacing the whole engine?
- Rizoma handle bars, are they a just straight swap to the 29mm ones?
- Custom Exhaust: Has anyone ever done an under the seat like the SF Termi exhaust? Yes I know about the first question on heat but thats the pipes. Cans don't seem to get too hot.
I have to run but I do have a few more questions that I will post later.

796 popping back through the airbox
Just bought this thing. It will barely move in first gear. Bike goes flat at 4500 and just pops and bangs and bogs. Bike is bone stock from what I can see other than the o2 sensors being cut and plugged. Any ideas?

Celebrating 100 years in Greece
Ducati Official Club Hellas organized a 3-day trackday to celebrate 100 years of our favorite brand. It was a great event. Sharing some pictures taken Spiros Patmanidis.
My last photoshoot with my forever bike
Unfortunately my riding career is coming to a sunset. Been many years and many miles, this was meant to be my forever bike but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I have to let her go.
My favorite bike I’ve owned thus far, had a Pani v4, a Tuono V4, an S1Krr, and many others, but none compared to the raw visceral mechanical joy I’ve gotten from this simple air cooled Twin. Took these pics to post it on sale on marketplace, probably won’t get the chance to ride again before someone buys it.

Snap on scanner
I have a triton d10 scanner. My buddy has a 2012 panigale 1199. Do I have to buy the specific adaptor from snap on to use the 2 together or is there a cheaper option that works? He has this $25 adaptor that doesn’t seem to work

Dreams do come true. I’ve wanted one of these since I was a little kid. Proud owner of 20 year old Ducati.

The 950 hyper is one of the harder bikes to learn to wheelie on.
Just a heads up to anyone thinking of getting one of these. They are not a super moto. Sure they may say they are in the reviews etc but it’s a super moto in costume only.
I bought this 2022 so as to not mess up my Streetfighter or monster for some context.
I wanted to learn to wheelie and do hooligan stuff on it and it had been the hardest bike I’ve ever been on in that regard.
It took a tune to allow the electronics to do clutch ups. the engine braking is so violent that anything other than a minute throttle adjustment slams the front end down. And a -1 sprocket up front makes it easier but more violent as well. Plus who wants to loop one of these? Hahah
Fair warning it’s def tough but a rewarding experience all together. Balance point on these is so high that I’m working up to that next.
