Hello all, I have an Alienware x16 R2 that’s constantly thermal throttling and hitting 100°C even when idle, even with my IETS GT500 cooling pad running at half/full speed. All my games, from CS 1.6/ HL2 to Doom TDA are lagging and stuttering.

Called Dell service centre and they said they don't have the Element 31 thermal paste and it's not available as a standalone retail product either.

I’m looking to re-paste the CPU/GPU with a high-performance alternative, but I need some localized advice from fellow Alienware owners or gaming laptop builders in Dubai/UAE:

1. Which thermal paste did you use as a replacement?
2. Where in Dubai can I get this professionally done?

Today, I received this limited-edition Wolverine PS5 controller from Amazon UAE. Honestly, it’s absolutely amazing i buy it for 360 DHS after coupon code

and now I have these two beautiful controllers!

A quick note: I found the first stand, the green one, through someone on Reddit about a year ago. They designed it for me, and unfortunately, I’ve tried many times to find them again, but without any luck.

For the second stand, I found the design on Reddit and contacted someone through Facebook Marketplace. They designed it for me and delivered it on the same day. The result is amazing, just like in the picture! They even chose a darker shade of yellow than the one in the original design, and it turned out much better.

I also used ChatGPT to combine the two photos.

I bought this as a gift for my wife who has been playing on her Nintendo switch 1 for almost 5 years now.

And ... The ONLY game she plays is Rocket League.

I wanted to get her a handheld with a bigger screen and I got a good deal for a legion go S.

So here's the problem ... The ONLY game (rocket league) that I want to run on this is not available on steam. I did find a way around and installed the Heroic Launcher. But it's not been great. Cannot take screenshots or record gameplay and for some reason ... High ping.

I really want to get the same device on windows 11.

Now, neither of us are very good with tech. Ive seen tutorials where you can format and install windows 11 on this device. I may almost certainly lose warranty.

Or I can go to online and try to find someone selling their 16gb Go S windows 11. Unfortunately I couldn't find anyone selling a 32gb one. The store I bought from doesn't have a refund policy and will only return in case of faulty device.

Today I was happily heading to virgin megastore in dubai hills to get msyelf a ps5 finally! Price on their estore and physical store is 2300 aed, which is a relatively good price compared to everywhere I else I checked.

To my surprise, at checkout, the cashier tells me new policy you need to buy 2 other accessories related to the ps5 to be able to buy the console or buy 2 consoles 😂

Anyways after disputing it with the store manager and threatening about consumer rights (as this new policy is nowhere to be communicated) they agreed to let me buy the console if I take a psn gift card (atleast I can use it on msyelf). But yeah not cool at all :(

Hi everyone, for my birthday back in September my friend bought me a PS5 store code (50$) as a gift. However, I was not able to redeem it then and I thought it was because of the store update they were doing. Fast forward to now after the update has allegedly concluded according to their website/email and I still can’t redeem my code.

Finally, after several days, I’m able to download free games from the PS5 UAE Store without getting the CE-112987-8 error.
The issue started around the time of the recent currency change, and many users were experiencing the same problem on the console and PS App.
Hopefully, it’s fixed for everyone else as well. Can anyone who was facing this issue confirm if it’s working for them now?
