Ukrainian forces are said to be using heavy multirotor drones as carriers for additional fiber-optic FPV drones.
According to the Russian information circulating, the carrier drone can land after reaching a designated position, while the FPV drone it transports is equipped with its own fiber-optic spool. The reported cable length is up to 60 kilometers (37 miles) per drone.
The setup would combine two drone systems operating with separate fiber-optic communication links.
The footage currently circulating may be older and appears to show a setup that has been observed before.
Further details have not been independently verified.
