“Whatever you do in life will be insignificant but it is very important that you do it because you can't know. You can't ever really know the meaning of your life. And you don't need to. Every life has a meaning, whether it lasts one hundred years or one hundred seconds. Every life, and every death, changes the world in its own way. You can't know. So don't take it for granted. But don't take it too seriously. Don't postpone what you want. Don't leave anything misunderstood. Make sure the people you care about know. Make sure they know how you really feel. Because just like that...It could end.”

Hi everybody. I'm hoping that you guys can help me find something. I've been searching for this photo / flyer for YEARS. BECAUSE I'm on it. It was a photo of blowout 5 of three people in the front row. Throwing up the wings. It was a big Caucasian fella whose face is concealed by his big arms. The guy probably eats a lot of biscuits. I mean really it's clear that this guy this guy never said no to a pork chop you know what I mean.

Next to him was a woman with a head wrap on whose face is exposed, and a male POC.

The picture ended up becoming used for a flyer not poster but flyer for blowout 6. And I've had the damnedest time of finding it on the internet.

The flyer does show up in every single day the book but I keep searching through it and I can't find it I'm hoping that somebody on here was the person who took that photo or made that flyer. Oh by the way I am the big dude that I was making fun of I'm not an asshole.

I write my favorite snippets of their lyrics that I really like, Doomtree, Four Fists, etc., and pin them to coffee shop bulletin boards or whatever similar things like that and at the bottom *—Doomtree* or whoever it's from.

:(

I don’t have a CD Player and my copy of “Best of False Hopes” is AWOL and I have a question! I am wondering about a song I heard on the internets that I’m ALMOST SURE was on one of these tracks.

It was the one that went:

Hawaii’s great
But we love Minnesotaaaaaaaaa
It’s beautiful there the entire yeeeear
BUT THE TRUTH WE FEAR
IS HAWAAI’S GREAT!
BUT WE LOVE MINNESOTTAAAaaaaaaaa

Where did it come from, nerds!?

I’m almost sure it was a Sims track. Idk. Thanks if you know.

I was pretty late to ordering an autographed copy of Bury the Lede: A Cocktail Book. It was the only book book I didn't have yet, bandcamp friday I ordered it before I knocked out for the night. Next day I got an email saying they had sold all of the presigned copies and I would have to wait. Not even a problem at all. This is what I received. I absolutely adore her. Fingers crossed she's back in Oregon soon. I missed her last time because I got snowed in.

I use to go to all the doomtree and p.o.s shows, but since p.o.s had that lil cancel episode back in the day i feel like doomtree ain't a thing anymore, I know dessa does her own thing with the books and speeches, but are they still a crew. I know p.o.s is now with shredders, but is it over for the crew

I saw Dessa live recently and purchased one of the lyric cards, I was on a budget at the time and made the poor assumption I could buy more on the website. I even emailed her manager and received a kind email in return saying they would go up for sale (possibly) on the next Bandcamp Friday.

I was wondering if anyone has any from previous shows they were open to selling at a reasonable price? Especially from her older releases.

I’m going to be in Twin Cities area next week for work. I’ve got training during the day and not much to do in the evenings. I was perusing show calendars and don’t see many bands I know. So, Doomtree fans, any local groups you like right now? Or favorite venues? As a Washingtonian, I don’t know your scene much.

Album dropped today. How are people liking it?

P.O.S is really in the pocket on is, some of his best rapping, and he sounds great over Yata's beats. Dwynell didn't really grab me on the first album but he's got some really good moments on this.

All in all, one of my favourite rap releases of the year and I hope it catches some buzz.

Back in my iPod days, I had a P.O.S song which I can't seem to find anywhere. If I remember correctly, it was a stand-alone single or was off a mixtape of something. It was just P.O.S, no other artists. The beat had a very "Lucy & Linus" feel, i.e. that piano track from Charlie Brown. I believe the first word of the song was "Sittin'," and in between verses he's talking and he says something about popping the holes out of a VHS tape so you can record your favorite episodes of Ninja Turtles.

Can somebody please help me find this song? For the life of me I can't remember any lyrics and it's driving me crazy. I loved this song.

We all know things are a lot quieter these days, but since Concert Archives sends out these reminders and it happened to be exactly 20 years of all anniversaries, I thought I'd just post this here, and maybe provide the opportunity for anyone else remembering their first exposure, whenever it might have been, to Doomtree.

I'd actually been listening to bits of P.O.S (and Blueprint) thanks to the sampler that came with You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having prior to the show, but this made enough of an impression that I still know what shirt Stef was wearing that night (and remember my annoyance at part of the crowd)

A small event in the grand scheme of things, but given it led to multiple multi-hour road trips for shows and even a flight (for Blowout X), it had a bit of a snowball effect for my own life for sure.

Just thought it might be worth sharing here!

This is a No Kings post.

Shredders did an absolutely amazing job at Surlyfest yesterday! You could tell they were having so much fun!

Anyone know what time he starts?

Just found this wondering if they collabed ever and it SHLAPS!
