It's pretty basic despite having 250+ hrs on the game

Due to playing his move set this boss was beaten 2 times with the same rank. Genuinely DMC3 is such a great game, gotta be top 5 for me.

Completed the second part to my Comboween series, and the Van Helsing game definitely is INFINITELY more "Character Action" than Nightmare Before Christmas turned out to be.

Trust me, if you put your hands on it for a few minutes you'll quickly realize calling it a DMC Clone (DMC1 in particular) is actually pretty well justified lmao.

Would honestly recommend a playthrough of this, although it is heavily flawed and doesn't encourage melee combat nearly as much as it should

So I left this game for months and I forgot the proper tutorial and am now confused on how to get out of the third mission. Is there any way to restart the whole game since I forgot the game mechanic?

I have been listening to devils never cry the other day, and i just couldn't comprehend what the choir before the first verse was chanting. Does anyone here know?

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to change Dante's melee and gun loadouts to the order set by the skill list, just because it was canon.

I've never had more fun developing and showing the gradual evolution of my combos until I did this.

To give a semi-related intro: I bought DMC5 deluxe on PS4 at some point. I didn't last long on it. I liked the gameplay, but I felt something was missing, where I just wanted to min-max getting the most with as little effort as possible. It reached a point where I bought the super costumes and I think some red orbs too. Eventually, I dropped it.

When I eventually got a PS5, I found DMC5SE on sale in the PS Store for £9. Given I had DMC3V & SE when they came, and got DMC4 & SE on X360 and PS4 respectively, it was a no brainer for me. I bought the game, launched it, went to options and turned on Turbo Mode.

And from then on, I was locked the fuck in. I realised why I didn't get into DMC5 the first time around: it was too slow for me.

To this day, DMC5SE is the only game I've ever platinum'd.

Which brings me to this video. I've been recording and streaming my ski- no, fun lately, with the BnB combos I made uploaded when I make small improvements to them.

THE ANIMATION for my DMC fan comic AVDMC,it's of course on work in progress,the animation will be focus on ALEX an original character i creat for the fan comic, and the "obstacles" she will face head on to reach dante office.

The events of this animation right before the start of the comic > the "fight" she had in that case XD <

What's funny enough it's not as a fight its more like a take care of the trash on the way to dante office.

This is one of the most long and tiring animation i every did and still doing of course, and more then half of it left, form the awesome hack and slash senses I have to do and need to nailed it XD, and the coloring on man i don't think of shading it though this will take months of consistency.

I don't know if i should be doing it first then work on ch3 part2 sketching XD.

Really though to get in the mood for all together animation needs more patience ,and immediate with consistency drawing the ,the comic on the other hand i can take breaks from days to weeks and still will not lose my consistency, I will see what fits my schedule XD.

I have in mind from 3 to 4 minutes long video in the end X) it's like an anime intro opening haha,really can't wait to see it done🥲😭🫠 it will be my finest animation if so.

I had inspired form any thing of course from games/anime for the scenes but i forgot ,and some are just my will imagination such as the scene in 1:01 man the first person cut always in my mind XD.

Any way this is long process animation and need so much time and mood to do it,hope you like it so fare!

For a potential DMC game, either it can be the 6th game or something that could take place later on, or even a prequel or spinoff . What ideas would you have regarding

1. Ideas for which protagonists to use and focus on: examples being Dante, Vergil, Nero, Lady, Trish, etc.

2. Ideas for the plot of the story and how the cast gets involved.

3. Setting, either taking place on Earth, the Underworld, or mix of both. And what type of setting it would be if it’s the main focus like what part of Earth and what part of the Underworld.

4. Villain ideas: It can be demon, human, human demon hybrid, human that became a demon, etc. And what would their personalities, goals, and abilities be like if you can choose.

No matter what i do im trying to use this fuckign judgement cut end for 3 hours now it just wont work. i have SDT bar full and concentration full as well. I press W+Shift+Left mouse+roller and it just keeps on useing the fucking standard attack

Alright people, this one is going to be heavy. I also want to say that Im not an expert (neither a larper, pls give me two months to get the Switch 2 and lock in).

Maybe Im just being repetitive as hell here, but I love how deep Dante is as a character. We might enjoy seeing him as the goofy rock pizza and broke man, but him being so "goofy" quite represents how he masks his sadness with jokes and laughs. I dont know, but it hits and hurts a bit more when you have the exact same trauma response as him.

Dante has suffered a lot since he was young. Losing his family, feeling guilt over all the mess and dead people he has seen, and feeling guilt and anger for Vergil.

Vergil fucked up Dante, pretty bad. They do enjoy fighting, but not in a "I hate you so much I want to kill you" way (I think), but more because they enjoy being close and fighting gives them an excuse to be close; but Dante has to hold Vergil accountable no matter how because of all the crimes he commited, even if he (maybe) missed him.

The mix of hating but missing someone is awful.

For me, the way he handles the Devil May Cry is the peak example of how deep he is in the dark place. He seemed not to care about not having water or light for who knows how long, probably he also had no food, couldnt shower or take care of himself, didnt clean... And when Morrison gives him the job, he doesnt seem desperate for it, he accepts because of the cash before the job. My mother usually says "a messy room represents a messy mind", and I think that fits him. Sometimes its easier to let yourself rot than facing the elephants in the room.

Dante is for the people who prefer to mask their suffering with a smile instead of letting people worry about them. He doesnt even want Nero to worry about probably never seeing him again, knowing that in the underworld it will be just him and Vergil, so probably there will be a lot of talking or a cycle of fighting each other and fighting other demons. But he is happy with it.

Dante does bad jokes, teases around, dances (a lot)... and still struggles. Struggles a lot. But he feels like he has to be the one who handles the other's struggles.

Even if, honestly, the Sparda family has a big problem with expressing their emotions. Like Nico said, crying is not bad sometimes. So... remember to cry once a week guys! :)

Main Man finally finished. Went with the voice of the community and gave him more classic red coat while keepeing DMC5 aesthetic. Was originally thinking about painting him in 50 shades of red but end of the day decided against it.

Hes decently sized about 20cm tall.

I will take some proper photos after I get Verg done. Gonna give him same coat treatment.

I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out. Being begineer painter and all. Hope you like him too!

According to her design (as far as i know I'm lowkey larping) she's described as tan, but to me she looks black. What do y'all think? I wanna know what the general consensus is in the fandom even if this isn't necessarily discussed

Edit: I also wanna know yalls personal opinions on the ship between her and dante, why it's good, bad, annoying or just a ship you don't care for

I had this idea for sometime now XD, my current self meeting/fan girl for the younger dante, and vice versa for the opposite ,my younger character meeting the older dante.

I imagine most people have something similar too,the love though its still the same all these years , but it's more matures and less blushier XO.

The funny thing too, I'm just one mouth till I become 28, that's dante age in dmc1 X).

I’ve played DMCs 1,3 and 4 and I just started 5 today and beat mission 2. I consider myself slightly above average at DMC. Some people say that 5 is too easy on normal and others say that it picks up in difficulty and that the bosses remain difficult throughout. I was wondering if I should get to mission 8 and restart the game or just stick with normal difficulty throughout for my first play through.
