Discussions Lucifer & Paimon

• Upvotes

For those who work with one -or both- of them, what's your experience?

As in, what would you say they provide? What did they help you with? What's their vibe like?

I have researched Paimon before so i know some basic info, but what did he help you with?

The thing about Lucifer though, the information is too much and feels too messy to make tangible. So I'd rather gather experience from the source, aka people who communicate/work with them.

What would he help with? Offer?

I recently asked if i should contact both of them, just for the sake of it and it was suggested to give them tasks. But I'm not sure what tbh. Ik this feels a bit pointless from the outside but if you want to share your experience or information about them, I'd really appreciate it.

Practical Questions I've never worked with a demon before but I need help with my exams

I did a couple of very important exams recently that I completely bombed on. I've been spiraling so much. A lot is riding on this for me. I've recently gotten into occult and spirituality and witchcraft and I'm thinking of dabbling with demons for this. Is there such a thing as working with a demon just once for a very specific purpose and then never summoning them again? Can a demon help with retroactively changing my grades? (I know I sound really stupid rn but I know nothing about this and I'm kinda desperate lol). I know all actions have consequences and all demons aren't bad but how can I truly protect and prevent anything from backfiring? If I invite a demon once is it possible for me to break the "connection" forever after that?

Discussions The Influences/Limitations of Individual/Human (Bodies) on Perspectives...?

This is going to be LONG and likely underdeveloped in some parts. Honestly, I could write a whole essay for the amount of thoughts I've had over this... one that would hopefully be significantly less rambly than this post (my apologies in advance), but... does anybody else get kinda "wigged out" by how much our (human) bodies/minds influence (and facilitate, duh) our experiences, both spiritual and mundane, and what that means for both?

I'm not the first one to consider ANY of this, I know that for a fact. It's not like the topic is NEVER discussed but I think I'd like to see more about it in a wider breadth, which I'll try to do myself here. Note that this is more focused on how we perceive -> interpret/evaluate things and less about "how do we know spirits are real?" and whatnot. Rest assured that this IS relevant to the sub, however broadly.

People on this sub in particular make a point to mention and warn people about the human tendency to anthropomorphize nonhuman entities like the spirits we work with, lest we accidentally overattribute our own instincts, preferences, and/or dispositions onto (presumably independent/external to our individual minds) beings that wouldn't necessarily share them in the same capacity or for the same reasons... if they share them at all. The same goes for matters of morality and ethics: the point is made that "morality" is highly subjective and intersubjective, based heavily on the wants/needs of a social species that can experience pain, die, and fear both to varying degrees. That isn't to say that nonhuman entities couldn't have preferences about social matters, but the point tends to be that what fills ME or YOU or US BOTH with righteous indignation... wouldn't necessarily do the same for a spirit or anything that simply is not a human.

I agree with these points, but I often find myself thinking about how far the underlying sentiment goes: that much of what we do "spiritually" and in "everyday life" is dependent on our individual bodies. After all, our lives are facilitated and heavily mediated by our bodies: your sensory organs provide your brain with input to interpret and create a complex model of the world, choosing which aspects to include, leave out, or encode with emotions and impulses to (potentially, if you listen or able even able to) motivate corresponding actions. Whether or not the body is the source of consciousness or merely an "anchor" or "vessel" for a spirit, I cannot say for sure, but your very existence is heavily tied up in an electrified meat sack that comes with built-in instructions and instincts spanning thousands of years before your birth that you're not even aware of half the time.

No two bodies are EXACTLY the same, even with identical twins, and from that, no two PERSPECTIVES (perceptions + interpretations) are EXACTLY the same, though we can observe patterns. We also don't have as much personal insight into the bodily mechanisms that influence our perspectives, yet we are often quite keen on taking our perspectives as the whole truth and not the incredibly limited and biased (toward survival, toward desire, etc.) lenses that they are. It's cheaper to do so: if I feel like I'm in danger while walking in the woods, it's usually cheaper (both in terms of immediate cost like "burning energy to think" and future costs like "not dying") for me to just assume the feeling = the truth and flee than to risk getting mauled to death. Likewise, if a food tastes bad to me, or a tree is ugly to me, I'm inclined to just assume "that's bad food" or "that's an ugly tree"; it's easier to treat the production of our systems as "facts about the world" over "facts about ourselves". We carry this same disposition into our modern everyday lives, tempering our assumptions with the knowledge that other people can differ from while still privileging our own perspectives... because those are the ones we experience directly and most intimately, and the ones that fundamentally support and drive us forward. Seems obvious, but I still feel the need to point it out.

When we engage in our own or discuss the spiritual practices of others, which by their nature are incredibly difficult to measure objectively/with tools and replicable experiments (hence why doubt and skepticism remain, which frankly, I believe is for the best), we are repeatedly forced to confront the fact that people within the same channels can have VERY different experiences and perspectives. How symmetrically we recognize/accept this across different aspects of spirituality, and to what degree, varies from person to person. If I'm being honest, I'm always kinda surprised at the different points people decide to stop treating their perspective as that and start asserting it as the truth, no matter how much I encounter it. Yes, one could argue that at a certain point, if you want to get anything done, you have to stop trying to determining what is ~THE ULTIMATE TRUTH~ and start DOING things... which means taking a premise and running with it as cautiously (or not) as you deem best. However, as I said previously, our perspectives are limited and biased: we presumably cannot perceive everything, or interpret everything we perceive, and our interpretations are often not impartial because our interpretive systems are more concerned with "pursue pleasure, avoid pain, don't die" that determining if what we're getting is "really the full picture" or "if we're favoring some evidence/conclusions over others"... things like that.

For example, let's take nondual experiences (what some call "Oneness", "The All", "God", etc.), or when your sense of individuality temporarily dissolves and you no longer distinguish between "you" and "everything else". In short, you feel as though YOU are EVERYTHING, and EVERYTHING is YOU, because all the labels (ex. ceiling, floor, chair, arm, dog) and evaluations (ex. good, bad, moral, immoral, pretty, ugly, right, wrong, true, false) fall to the wayside and leave with pure and utter PERCEPTION. Similarities exist between experiences and even across religious/spiritual/metaphysical systems, but interpretations of "what it is" and "what it means" vary widely... of note to me is the VALENCE or "texture" of the experience: what does it FEEL like to be "one with reality"? (Hell, that wording along ("one with reality") carries a certain irony for this post, because is that REALITY AS IT IS, or REALITY AS I/WE CAN PERCEIVE IT? I digress.) When you're left with nothing but perception, it's easy to assume that you're getting the raw truth of things because you're not trying to interpret it anymore, not trying to reach conclusions anymore. You just PERCEIVE, and such an experience can invoke some intense feelings... that, presumably because you're not interpreting them anymore, read as THE FOUNDATION OF REALITY.

If you feel immense love and compassion, it's easy to assume that reality itself (or the universe, or god, etc.) is "loving/compassionate", that it isn't just "you" feeling that, but EVERYTHING. I mention that because it's arguably the most frequent description of a nondual experience... and the most frequently espoused. Here, too, experiences vary: some people experience overwhelming existential dread and terror, some people experience as close to "neutral" as they can get... there's probably more, but the core idea here is that what people feel during a nondual experience ranges from positive, neutral, and negative... and while if you've had a nondual experience before, it's easy to understand why such feelings are so compelling as to be considered part of ~THE ULTIMATE TRUTH~, the variation across individuals shows it's a bit more complicated than that. I think people often neglect to consider how their own bodies/bodily systems play a role in shaping how their (in this case, nondual) experiences come about and feel, and how the dispositions of our species at large could explain why that happens. Humans are social creatures: the species evolved across thousands of years to survive cooperatively, and developed a variety or emotions and impulses that support that lifestyle... though admittedly, each one can be used for CONFLICT just as much as they could for COOPERATION; I don't say that to shame conflict, praise cooperation, or vice versa, but to state a fact.

Again, we're creatures that can FEEL PAIN and DIE and, most of us are predisposed to avoid both to a certain extent. Wouldn't it make sense, then, that once the distinction between "safe" and "threat", "life" and "death", "you" and "them", and suddenly everything feels like a united mass, one singular entity, that people wouldn't just feel SAFE, but LOVED and LOVING? COMPASSIONATE? ~PROSOCIAL~, if you will? For beings keenly aware of their own fragility and mortality, that is an intoxicating concoction! And when so many individuals share this perception, each one taking it to be ~THE ULTIMATE TRUTH~ and not just "their perspective" or "their pattern of perspectives"... any perspective that contrasts could easily be deemed "misguided" or "wrong", failing to account for the limitations and influences from within our perceptual and interpretive systems, each being dependent on our human bodies and the wants, needs, and instincts evolved and shared across centuries. It's easy, then, to take the interpretation "dangerous = EVIL AND BAD AND WRONG" and apply it to "REALITY ITSELF"... and vice versa. More antisocially-inclined individuals (you know, the "edgelords" and "assholes" among us) can just as easily turn around and take THEIR interpretation, backed up by their own nondual experiences (and subsequent interpretations) and say the prosocial people hollering about PEACE and LOVE and COMPASSION are the "misguided" or "wrong" ones. Why, even the "ambivalent" or "neutral" individuals could arguably do the same... I'm biased FOR them because that's the camp I MYSELF fall into, but to say the "middleground" is automatically somehow "exempt" wouldn't be accurate. The key fact uniting them all is people taking profound experiences produced and heavily mediated/influenced by their individual bodily systems (with species-wide traits) and taking them as ~THE ULTIMATE TRUTH~, not "mere limited and biased perspectives that are influenced by and can further serve interpretations and goals"... they both have their own ends in mind, and I'm not going to rank one over the other as "right/wrong" or "good/bad". I'm merely trying to illustrate what I view as a common overreach: treating "perspective" as " THE truth" -> "everyone who disagrees must be wrong/bad/eEeEeEviiiil somehow".

As I already stated, at some point, if we want to do anything (and isn't that partially dependent on our bodies, too? the desire to DO?), we have to stop ruminating on what's true and what's false so we can, you know, DO. We determine what's "true enough" and therefore "justified enough to act on/with" to whatever standards we each hold... and we go with that. We can only be so sure about so much, so often (OR CAN WE??? CAN WE KNOW THINGS WITH CERTAINTY???), and at some point, we take whatever we've got and say, "okay, this part is probably accurate, and this part probably isn't, so fuCK IT, WE BALL-!"

But do you see what I mean when I say how far the points about not just our perspectives, but our HUMAN perspectives, can go? Do you see what I mean by me getting "wigged out" by it? Like, it seems so integral not just to our spiritual practices, but to EVERYTHING WE DO, and from what I've seen, we often don't talk about just how deep it goes. Granted, it would be exhausting to think about that all the time (speaking from personal experience here ;) haha I'm not crying, no way, not me)... for example, if someone is trying to assault you (and, say, you don't want to get assaulted because OUCH and SCARY and THIS IS NOT IN LINE WITH MY GOALS), then it doesn't help much (in that moment, at least) to step back and wonder, "but is it REALLY bad to get assaulted?"... and yet, I'd like it if we "brought the machinery into focus" more, so to speak. To "peak behind the curtain" of not just the world (and "beyond", or try to, seeing as this is r/DemonolatryPractices), but of the very thing that allows us to do so in the way we do to begin with: our human bodies.

(P.S. If anyone's got resources about this sort of thing, like the interplay of human biology/psychology, mysticism, metaphysics, etc., please share. I'd like more material to work with than just the bits and pieces of skimmed readings and personal experience.)

TL;DR unga bunga "human bodies influence lots of stuffs and everybody's different, so we take different stuffs as da troof" :P

Discussions Question about rituals

When a ritual is done in an abandoned place like in a hospital for example, does it attract the spirits that are near or died there or is that a different thing? Does it leave the place with a heavier atmosphere? I ask because I had a paranormal experience when I visited an abandoned hospital with a friend. I saw a dog (? on top of a door, and since they say rituals are performed in those places, I thought that had an influence

Also, silly question, but do you guys believe in aliens? I've read that some people call them demons lmao, I'm js curious to know because my brother once went to collect firewood (we were at an aunt's house) and saw something in the distance in the field, like a hunched creature with its arms outstretched and palms down. Do you think it was an alien or a spirit or smth else?? Obv it was almost night (sorry if it's the wrong place to ask this)

Practical Questions Pact offerings when it involves multiple demons

To be fair, I didn’t know how to phrase my question but here’s the gist of it. I regurlarly work with 4 demons separately ofc. Recently I had a specific request and offer a pact through a ritual with a “deadline” otherwise I consider that the demon just doesn’t want to do it or doesn’t think they‘re the best fit for it which is okay. After the deadline (and some additional time), I asked another spirit and I got what I wanted , I gave the promised offerings and all was done. But a thought popped up in my head after reading a late success story, if spirits can still realize your request without all conditions met (a timeline especially), should I consider that the demons I sought previously to have “helped” with my request and should therefore honor my part of the pact I proposed ?

I honestly never thought about it before and I’m aware that this “spiritual” journey is a lot about personal experiences, that there’s isn’t really a “right“ way to work with spirits as they have their own individual preferences and methods. So there aren’t some rules written in stone or perfect doctrine to follow but I’m still curious to hear other’s thoughts about this. Personally, I don’t really think I should but I don’t want to make a stupid mistake and FAFO.

Thank you in advance to anyone who’ll answer this.

Practical Questions Can I communicate with demons using a spirit box?

I wonder if spirit boxes are reliable and work on demons and if I can communicate with them that way. Tarot still feels a bit difficult for me and I rarely hear Satan in my mind when I meditate because my AuDHD brain won't shut up. :')

Practical Questions Can a spirit help me when mundane work is not currently an option?

For context, I fucked up badly with someone I care deeply about and want to make amends. Reaching out to them right now would probably cause more issues as we aren’t really on speaking terms. Would calling upon a spirit like Agares help open up avenues to repair the connection?

Can yall share what being called by her may look like? Thank you ❤️✨

Practical Questions Releasing the past/processing

Hello, what demon can help me with releasing the past/processing? I've been thinking of one event 24/7 for more than a year now. I can't process it, I can't forgive, can't forget. I've tried lots of magic to forgive, mostly angelic, nothing seems to work. I know demons that are associated with karma, Saturn, past etc can help. Thank you

Practical Questions hi there! can you draw a goetic seal on your earring?

i ask this because lately, i have been feeling drawn to Raum, and i’m interested in drawing his seal on my earring (it‘s a wooden earring and i have a metallic marker). forgive me if my question is slightly blunt, but I would really love to learn more about demonolatry and the ars goetia. I’m just not sure if drawing seals outside of the intent to invoke would have repercussions. do lmk your thoughts, thank you!

Practical Questions Plus-ones during invocation?

My friend, who I trust very much, is very spiritual, and is open to this belief system, is keen to watch me perform an invocation, or even be part of one, but says he will likely need me to do most of the interceding as he is less seasoned when it comes to spirit work. I usually prefer to work alone and can be afraid of judgement if I perform any kind of spirit communication in front of people. I am also aware of the rule that you shouldn’t share too much about your practice, but does this still apply to those that are keen to learn?

Overall, is it possible for this to be executed successfully and respectfully, and if so, any tips or experiences? Thank you!

Experiences and Ritual reports My very first sign from Lord Clauneck - before I even did a single ritual

• Upvotes

I wanted to share something that still has me surprised and grateful.

I've only just begun learning about

Lord Clauneck and thinking about starting to work with him. I hadn't done any formal ritual, prayer, or meditation yet - I only sat with my thoughts, quietly asking him for support around our family's finances.

Just one day later, my husband told me he had received a pay rise.

I don't have all the answers, and I know everyone's journey looks different. For me this felt like a gentle, clear sign, and I wanted to honour him publicly.

Thank you, Lord Clauneck, for hearing my silent request and showing me your presence so soon. I'm moving forward with

respect, care, and an open heart as I keep learning and walkin path 🤍

Discussions What are peoples experiences using water, air and earth as elements focus in spellwork?

I assume that most people tend to use fire, as the primary thing as candles are easy to get and easy too keep safe, but i was wondering how people find using the other elements for spellwork.

part of the reason why i ask is because in the modern day some attribute different elements too the various 72, those in the dukante hierachy etc.
