2x Lumen Bioscoop tickets - Wicker - 22/10/26 18:45
Hi everyone,
I've noticed this pigeon near my place, regularly coming in the last two weeks. He has rings, one blue and one white, both with the number "8" on them and (I think) nothing else.
From what I researched, it might be a lost or escaped domestic pigeon. Does anyone have any idea who I can contact about him? Or does anyone in Delft or around own pigeons and may have lost one?
Thanks!

Don’t know why got deleted, but try again, plz let me know if something shouldn’t not write and I will change.
Hey guys, I’m working in Rotterdam supply chain field, but live in Delft. Also trying to make my own things.
Female, in an age already past student stage and likely think about more realistic things. But life still needs more moment to feel relax and enjoy happiness.
kinda introvert if we don’t know each other but very extrovert with familiar friends😂
I’m a fan of making Chinese food, which is a way to release pressure(trying to make social media channel for home cooking). Also love to try different cultures’s food.
Looking for some friends who also interested in doing their own things or simply working in a career path they love, who may enjoy cooking or eating, rarely have dietary restrictions.
I Like traveling, discovering new things, traveled many European countries, parts of China, having plan to Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand, American in more future. (Only when I still have some vacation days😉)
Like visiting exhibitions and factories.
Also very enjoy writing.
Hopefully we can respect to each other’s habits and cultures.
I don’t drink alcohol, nor smoke, but feel free to be yourself.

Recently there have been some incidents where women almost got pulled from their bikes close to X Tudelft. People have gone to the police about it, but we want to inform you as well and make sure you are aware. The incidents happened on the badly lit ramp between X and the N-road. If you are biking/walking here please be aware of your surroundings and look out for one another!

Hey I’m living in delft, and would like to connect with people and nerd about things.
Hey guys a little over a year ago I bought a dj set (a low end one that connects with my laptop). When I first got it I played a lot but as time went on I didn't really use it as much anymore and atp I haven't used it in months.
I wanna get back into it but I realised the problem was that there isn't really anyone to do it with. So I'm making this post to see if there's other people who dj or are in a similar boat, and would like to dj together sometime. Or if you're also curious to try you're welcome to use mine (after we meet up in a public place so we can vet each other lol)
I mainly play house and techno, im into artists like oscar mulero, quelza, alarico, chlar, ignez (seen most of them live actually) but I also like more mainstream house like max dean, josh baker, kettama etc. If you wanna play something else fs you're also welcome to, just giving a reference for myself.
A little about myself: I'm 24m, and I study in the Hague. I speak English and I can understand dutch but it's not great. And I recently moved to delft. I like going to raves (hence the dj set lol) and outside of that I like to play pool or play on my ps5 and hang out with friends.
Hope to hear from you guys!

Defend Netherlands who attacked the D66 headquarters and intimidated migrants will come to Delft to protest against the AZC. During their demonstration, someone tried to burn down the AZC in Loosdrecht.
To counter their presence, a group of locals are organizing a demonstration to show the majority does not want fascists in our city. So come to show Delft does not accept racists in our city.
When: Saturday 24th of October at 1pm
Location: city center

Hey, fellow matcha lover in Delft, where do you usually get your powder? Is there a spot in town you go to, or do you order it from elsewhere or online?
Everything I've found directed me online, but I'd really rather just pick it up at a store in town. Any insights will be appreciated!
Hi, in my neighbourhood of bomenwijk, the gemeente cut down a bunch of trees. I am trying to find out the reason for this. Also, in moslaan and other streets they are planning to (or already did).
Does anyone know anything about this?

Hello!
Does anybody know places to play chess?
I know about the chess club and koppie koffie but sometimes I want to randomly go out and just play chess with a stranger.
Thank you!

Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about enrolling at the Dutch Language Lab to continue learning Dutch, since the TU Delft Dutch courses I'm interested in are fully booked.
Has anyone here taken courses there? If so, how was your experience? Would you recommend it?

Hiii!
I am 33 yo and part of my work is with Spanish speaking persons so I'd like to get my Spanish to a better level. I am currently beginner/intermediate (lvl 72 on duolingo) but for speaking way behind my lvl.
Is there anyone speaking spanish in Delft, maybe wanting to learn Dutch in exchange, who'd like to meet up for coffee/lunch to help me out? Send me a DM :)

Hi everyone,
I had a pretty disturbing encounter in Delft, and I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do about it, especially since I don’t think there were any cameras nearby.
I was walking along Binnenwatersloot when I came across an obstacle on the pavement (Eazie Delft sign and people). I looked back to check whether there were any cars or cyclists coming. I stepped onto the road to get around the obstacle, staying very close to the curb (5-10cm from it at most), and continued walking.
After I had already been walking along the road for a few metres, the cyclist hit my hand with his handlebar. I want to clarify that I didn't suddenly step directly in front of him. I had already been walking there for a while, and from what I saw, he appeared to change his direction towards me rather than simply continuing along his original path on the center of the road. He had enough time to see me.
He continued for a few metres before stopping and shouting something at me in Dutch. When he realised I didn't speak Dutch, he switched to English and started telling me that I should look where I was going and that I could have killed him.
I told him that he should also pay attention to where he was going, because if I had been riding a bicycle slowly in the same situation, he could have crashed into me as well. He continued swearing at me and telling me to f-----g look, so I decided to walk away rather than waste my time arguing.
However, a few metres further down the street, near the SPAR supermarket, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the same guy had ridden onto the pavement and was heading directly towards me on his bicycle. He was going fairly fast, probably around 15 km/h, and was deliberately steering towards me again. At the last moment, I pushed him away to avoid being hit. He nearly fell off his bicycle but managed to stop. He shouted something at me again and then rode off.
Obviously, I can't know exactly what was going through his mind, but given the initial collision, the argument, and the fact that he subsequently rode onto the pavement and appeared to head directly towards me again, the whole incident was deliberate.
I understand that pedestrians and cyclists need to pay attention to each other. However, I was already walking along the road for several metres when he hit me, and I didn't suddenly walk directly into his path. Deliberately riding a bicycle at someone after an argument is a completely different matter.
I looked around afterwards, but I couldn't see any obvious CCTV cameras near the SPAR. Unfortunately, I don't know the guy's name, don't have his registration details, and didn't get a photo of him.
My questions are:
I'd appreciate any advice from people familiar with the Dutch police system or who have experienced something similar in the Netherlands.
Thanks!

Stuur me gerust een privébericht. Wie weet wat we samen kunnen realiseren!
Interested in organising events in The Hague? 🇬🇧
I'm looking for people with ideas, initiative and enthusiasm who would like to collaborate on organising events in The Hague and the surrounding area.
There's a unique venue available in a charming former church, and we're looking to explore the possibilities together. We're open to all kinds of events, from parties, birthdays and corporate gatherings to cultural, community, creative and even charity events.
How could we work together?
We provide the venue, facilities and support with organisation and promotion. You bring your ideas, contacts and enthusiasm. We can work together on reaching people, social media, promotion and everything else needed to bring great events to life.
The idea is to combine our strengths, explore new possibilities and build something exciting together.
Do you have an idea of your own, enjoy organising events, or know someone who might be interested?
Feel free to send me a private message. Who knows what we could create together!

Anyone interested in a Paint & Sip in Delft or nearby? 🎨🍷
I’m thinking about organising a relaxed painting evening: getting creative together, enjoying a drink and meeting new people. No painting experience needed!
Nothing is scheduled yet — I’m just checking whether there’s interest.
Would you join, either on your own or with someone? And would you prefer a weekday
Let me know in the comments 🙂 If there’s enough interest, I’ll work out the details.

Painting supplies (canvas, paint and brushes) and a welcome drink are included. No painting experience needed: I’ll guide you step by step, and you’ll take your painting home. Dutch and English are both welcome!
The plan is to host it at a café or restaurant in Delft. If there’s enough interest, I’ll arrange a date and venue.
Would you join at this price? And which evening would suit you best: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday?

Leve AI! /s

Hey! I’d like to meet some people in Delft who share my interest in street art, pop art, realistic painting and portraits. I paint myself, but you don’t have to — being into this kind of art or wanting to give it a try is enough.
It would be nice to grab a coffee or beer, talk about what we’re making, visit an exhibition or just hang out. I enjoy a drink and the occasional joint, so that probably gives you an idea of the atmosphere I’m looking for.
Mostly hoping to make some friends with similar interests, ideally around 30–40, but age isn’t a strict requirement.
Anyone up for meeting for a drink sometime? Leave a comment or send me a message!
