Yes it has all the numbers of the doubles and triples I struggle to do the maths in my head especially when I’m chalking and it helps me work it out in my head yes I have a omni but that’s not going to help me when I have to manually chalk a match at my club each to there own it’s what i like it’s what helps me I don’t get why people have to be negative about something that’s there to help people

Help! What should I buy? new darts? Bullhitter v1?

I currently have 23g shaggy g1 with 30mm points(going back to 26mm though) and short kflex. I would like to switch up the barrel as these are not working for me now. I was looking at the bull hitters v1 which i can get online but could not get in store near me. instead, i tried with the Keane Barry darts which have a similar barrel and same weight. whilst it felt good in my hand it was a bit wobbly mid air. would this be different maybe with the bull hitters v1 with my k-flex on (shorter than on the Keane Barry darts) or not. i also tried the Ratajski gen2 blacks which were good but not quite grippy enough. the BH v1 I can get for £50. are they worth it and the gamble of not having thrown them or not?

i have a mid grip and slower, looping but forever changing throwing style and technique.

cheers and sorry if this is quite confusing haha

I went to league tn. Last week was B division only won 7 of 29. D division this week. First guy I play. Starts scoring . I jokingly say you must of missed last week(he did) A div player. I kept up with him, had two chances at ton plus for the game from behind and scored 2 ton plus to leave a preffered double, i didnt get a chance at.

I play my next game against someone i've played in a league years prior and this year met up with once.won 6-3 We didnt play great tn, neck an neck but he hit every double he was aiming at.

I let the loss 7-2 roll off.

Went out for a smoke an thought i'll be happy with a 180 against this A div player that got knocked to D last week coming from A.my first 3 darts practice 180. I stop throwing. In 9 games I had 4 180's 4 134's more 80+ than i can count and still lost 7-2 but the euphoria of that 4th 180 in the match felt like my first 180. It was the best i've shot at a league night.

I've been actively trying to not let what my opponents throw and how i'm throwing affect my game. Tonight it felt like that.

I love this game

Bombs

Is it common to buy short bomb darts and fit them with long points and kflexs?

I've been using Shaggy G2s with the same configuration recently, switched over to Winstanley G2s tonight (more of a front weighted bomb) and they're far more accurate.

I average way higher with this setup, but it just seems really counterintuitive to buy short barrels and make them long. If you're a bomb user give it a try.

NBD (New Board or setup Day) Basement Dart Club Setup

Post image
38 Upvotes

With three little kids I just don’t have the time to practice golf anymore and the costs are getting out of control. I’ve always enjoyed playing darts occasionally at the bar and figured why not setup a board in the basement.

Two months later and I’ve built myself my own little darts club in my basement. I’ve got a 16-player l, 8-team league on Thursdays and plan to do some summer tournaments.

I’ve come to really like the parallels darts has to golf mentally, in having a repeatable motion and risk analysis. Not to mention, I can practice anytime I want!

I plan to make the boards swappable to steel tip or potentially add a third dedicated steel tip lane in the future. For now I’m super happy with this little setup I’ve built on the cheap!
