Just picked up my V7. Adding light and pressure switch next. Is it possible to get the dual cable and stow the laser line until I start to run a laser? Or just get the single line for a surefire scout? Not sold on laser anyways. Thanks.

What seems to be a good price for a DD PCC SBR? Found one for sale for $1650

Is this a good price or could possibly find for cheaper?

I hope all is well. I bought a MK18 stripped upper from Brownells during their Labor Day sale and was originally thinking about cerakoting just the rail with Armor Black in order to make the rail, upper, and lower uniformly black. But the more I think of it, having the rail in DD FDE and upper/lower receiver in closest color plus Magpul ODG accessories would look really sweet. Therefore, I want to have Weapon Works use the closest matching cerakote mix for the upper and lower receivers.

I did some research online and came across 95% chocolate brown/5% midnight bronze or 90% chocolate brown/10% midnight bronze as the best possible matches. Can anyone with experience in mixing and matching in this case chime in? I'm not looking for perfect, just the "most good" match.

This is what my gas block and barrel look like, the pin is mutilated on both sides. Scratches and marks galore. Id expect this from a PSA, not a DD. Im about to change the handguard on my first, brand new DDMV7P 10.3" to a RIS II, and kinda surprised they have this kind of quality control at a premium price point. Am I wrong for thinking this way?

Not only is it my favorite gun in the lineup, it’s also my first real predator rifle. Not just some half slung bolt action my dad lent me.

Took it to the range yesterday and pumped about 300 rounds through it. New trigger is awesome!

I have this pre-2006 Rail Mounted Sling Loop (might also be known as Rail Mounted Front Loop) that I am looking for more info on and any photos of them in use (if they exist!)

Joe Marler at DD gave me the above info a couple years back on ARF but beyond that they had a few iterations before being discontinued and were designed for directly mounting a sling to a picatinny rail, there wasn’t much more to go on.

I would love to know how they were used: where on the rail they were mounted. Was it near a PEQ? Anyone have one back in the day?

Really loving this setup. Still debating an acog but no complaints with the LPVO. Next steps will be to replace the dd sling mount with a CQD, add an IR laser, and change the light mount to an Arisaka offset

SOS! PMags don’t eject smoothly unlike aluminum or oem dd magazines so what part do i need to sand on the pmags to make them eject smoothly or any fix that i can do? I also tried lowering the tension of the spring of the mag release button.

Started as a plain ddm4v7 with magpul furniture and changed it up a bit since. Excited for this winter. Accurate gun with 640 agm on top. Coyote killer

So let me first say I’m somewhat new on building my own AR. Which is why I’m going with a completely upper instead of buying each part separately.

With that being said I’m bidding on and may possibly win this completed upper. Did a little research and found out that there aren’t many suppressor options or any at all that are compatible with this barrel because of that particular P/W. I could be wrong so please correct me if I am.

So I was looking at getting a Criterion barrel and a Geissele hand guard. But i was reading that some parts may not be compatible with the DD upper. Could you guys give me some info on all this? I didn’t do much research cause it was still early in the bidding and now there’s like an hour left and I’m still top bid so i may actually win this thing.

Is a mk18 sbr LE TRADE , I think is a no brainer but what do you Reddit experts think lol ?

I’m looking to replace the rail on my V7P in order to have a more flush look going to the suppressor and a smidgen more rail space for a light.

It seems like 10.0 would work descent but curious yalls thoughts before I spend the $300.

The suppressor I’m using is a 30 cal Sandman X.

Hello everyone, Im brand new with the AR platform and got myself a DDM4V7 and love it. Got myself a HOLOSUN 510C & HM3X Combo took it to the range with a buddy and shot 500+ rounds give or take. Wanted to learn how to take care of it myself and do it right so i been watching multiple videos how to to clean it out.

But i could follow this entire video except this "extractor pin"? section. For the love of GOD i could not get it out and it felt SUPER tight. I managed to get everything else done except that part. But just wanted to reach out and ask what kind of tool do ya'll use for cleaning your AR?

Would just love a recommendation with a tool kit or something similar to make my life easier the next time i clean out my AR. Thank you all
