Rock the Vote: Zine-Making Workshop

With the 2026 midterm elections around the corner, join Shadowbanned Magazine for a hands-on zine-making workshop focused on voter education and political literacy.

We'll start with a brief introduction to the history of zines and their role in political education and grassroots organizing. Then, participants will create their own 8-page zine on their laptops with our web based tool, exploring topics like voting rights, what's on the ballot, candidate comparisons, or helpful resources for voters.

We'll have a printer on-site so everyone can print their finished zines, take them home, and share them with their communities.

No design experience necessary! Just bring your laptop and your curiosity. All materials and printing will be provided.

This is a non-partisan event.

Looking for recommendations for a really scary, adult-oriented haunted attraction in the DFW area.

I’m specifically looking for something beyond the typical haunted house experience.

- Touch/full-contact option where actors can actually grab, push, pull, etc. (within the attraction’s rules/waiver)

- Actors who actively target and chase you, rather than just popping out for a jump scare

- Very intense/scary — the more extreme, the better

- Ideally multiple attractions/experiences at the same location

- Bonus points for alcohol/bar options

I have two Tame Impala tickets for sale for this coming Thursday at the Cowboys stadium. I bought a total of 4 tickets but will only be using two. Sect 218 Row E. Total purchase price was 400 each but willing to take a loss as long as the tickets don't go unused. Tickets are currently selling way higher than my posted price!

If you’re in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex in Texas (or in Tulsa and want to see Patricia Quinn) you should come say hi!

Los Bastardos performs in Dallas twice per month every month at the Inwood and Angelika, but this October we’re going to be on the road a LOT. This season is going to be wild, we have a huge rotating cast, and tickets are starting to move a lot earlier than usual, so grab em before they’re gone.

AND! If you love Rocky and want to be part of the chaos, we’ll be opening cast back up for transylvanians, techies, grip, and floorwalkers on November 13th.

You can find tour tix and info about joining at www.losbastardos.com

Chicago stylist, now in DFW. I help busy, successful women stop wearing clothes that just “fit” and start wearing a wardrobe that actually looks like them. Signature style, one closet at a time. A few spots open right now — if that’s you, let’s talk.

Ibowl will be geared more toward Fun League Bowlers style events. www.ibowlentertainment.com
