If I could go back in time, I would have quit the stupid job I was doing, which I thought was so, so, so important, and just spent every waking moment watching my boy grow. I can't have that time back. When I look at this photo, I see this sweet, baby boy for which everything was new, maybe scary, and unsure of who he was, where he was, or what was coming down the pipeline.

I did have pets when I was growing up, but Dandy is the first pet I paid for out of my own pocket, the first one where I had to grow up myself and realize the responsibilities I needed to have to take care of him properly.

Now he is 4 years old. I think he feels safe, secure, loved, acknowledged, and certainly fed well. He's grown into the most handsome boy and I'm still surprised at how many people will literally stop on the street to acknowledge him on a daily basis when we're out for his walks.

He loves people and he doesn't hesitate to approach them. Other than my husband, this dog is the greatest gift I have in my life.

Cherish the puppy days; they're gone too soon!

I honestly have no idea how he got here. Animal control had no intake history for me, I don’t know if he was dumped or surrendered. Poor guy is sleeping on my lap right now.

Great adventure was had.

Our poor 9-week-old baby had her second vaccination shot today and then completely ballooned 30-40 minutes later. We took her STRAIGHT to the vets and she’s being looked after and monitored for the next couple of hours.

Luckily, it wasn’t anaphylactic and she’s remained a happy girl (according to the vet). We’ll be picking her up in the next couple of hours - very scary afternoon.

She definitely wasn’t bit or stung as I had her with me in the bedroom and then noticed her face changing.

We’re in a bit of a pickle with going to my partner’s friends baby shower tomorrow. Will she be okay by then? Would you bring her with you or completely ditch the baby shower? It’s at 11:30AM tomorrow and this has happened at 3:00PM today.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. And we’d never ever put Cece’s health or safety second, so all opinions are welcome. We’d never leave her alone, this is more so to hear what other pup owners would do in this situation - especially when explaining it to someone’s baby shower.

EDIT: this isn’t even the worst of the allergic reaction, this was after she’d been treated and injected with five different meds.

This is Petunia. First pic is her in February of this year (she was ~8 weeks) and the second pic is now (over 11 months old). I can’t believe how much she’s grown!! We were worried when we were picking a pup that she wouldn’t have a fitting personality (bc it was like a 4 hour drive so we couldn’t meet her before hand), but she is truthfully the best pup we could’ve gotten! She soooo sweet, and loves every member of our family (including her 2 fellow pups) so much. My favorite thing about her is that any time anyone is doing anything, she’s watching. Grandpas weeding? She’s helping. Grandmas painting? She’s there, and got a bit of it on her ear. I’m working out? She’s sitting on my bed looking very concerned 😂 We call her our little supervisor; she has to make sure you’re doing everything right.

Anyways, I just wanted to rant a little and show these pictures because the difference is crazy! She was 2 pounds when we first got her!! I’ll attach some more of my fav pics of her in the comments

Hi everyone! A lot of people loved the game and the first designs, so as a huge thank you, I've already modeled 10 of your dogs and suggestions for this version, and I also added English language support!

​Right now I'm hitting a small roadblock: Google Play requires me to run a 14-day closed test to fully release the game. That's why I really need your help as testers!

I'll be releasing another 30 skins based on the dogs you've been requesting as a reward for your support.

​Full transparency (Monetization):

The final game will have ads (non-intrusive and completely optional just to revive), but they are disabled during this test. I also included a special $3 "Support the Dev" skin in case anyone wants to support the project (I'm currently an unemployed indie student and it helps a ton!), but the base game is 100% free.

I have two mini dachshunds indie F 2 years old on the left and arlo m 7months on the right, indie is super chill only barks on walks and is good off the lead most of the time in a quiet patch of grass near where I live. I’m struggling with Arlo, he is super clingy and I’m not being dramatic when I say he screams at me anytime I put clothes on or do anything hinting towards leaving the house. I can’t even put pyjamas on without him jumping up at me scream crying/barking I’ll be getting ready to leave and I’ve got him barking screaming at me running in front of my feet. I’ve tried putting him in another room but that doesn’t work the scream crying continues, it’s really exhausting me and overstimulating please give tips how I can stop this, OH also standing watching him waiting for him to stop to give him praise/treats does NOT work he doesn’t stop.

When he turns and looks at me, and I sense he is happy and comfortable, I don't think there is a better feeling in the world. I know this is dumb, but I could just look at that face all day and never get tired to it. I love you, Dandy boy.
