Secondary question: would you ever advise intentionally inserting two opposite cross pieces like this if It gave an X-Cross or gave another advantage, and then fix it?

Now for the main topic, any suggestions for a secondary main for times like this? Something very reliable and fast, considering the tianma bc or Sao rs3m v5, any suggestions or if you think my picks are great please do say it.

Be honest, how much are you judging people for their cube and setup?

Was looking into cubes that aren't too costly for now and these were the cubes I found for the events I wanted to participate in.

MOYU WEILONG PYRAMINX SPRING - PYRAMINX ( what mods do you recommend? )

MGC SQUARE-1 V1 - SQUARE - 1 ( what mods do you recommend or should i just buy the pi-cube ones or the alpha mod one.)

Shengshou Clock - Clock ( Don't know if this performs decently, so any recommendations would be great.)

Stickered 3x3 - Also I tried searching for a stickered 3x3 that used to perform amazing back in the day, but can't find one that isn't stickered. Edit: ( I just really like the look of stickered cubes, so thats why I want one. While also being decent/great in performance.)

Preferences are:

Any brand - Lost a bit of trust on Gan, since they catch (based on my first gan experience)

Around 20-30$, could move here and there (up to 70$, maybe even more) if the cube is really good and would remain one of the best option few years from now.

There are a lot of tutorials on lubing cubes on the internet, however I noticed that most of them are like "apply this and that lube here and now your cube is smooth. The end". And I do it and it really is but then after a few days I try to do some solves and my cube feels sticky and not pleasant to turn. I just don't know how to actually keep my cube in this nice state for longer periods of time.

For context I have angstrom gravitas, fz calm and fz stealth and use Gan 12 maglev.

If anyone could share how you do it to maintain your cube to always be in a state that you like, I would be grateful:)

Looking for either a new main or a second main, considering I’m still happy with the cube I’m currently using. It’s a gan 12 maglev, I use the tightest setting and center travel set to 1. Also I use use dnm 37. I’ve been using it since its release (2 or 3 years, not quite sure) So what smart cube would you recommend me based on my preferences?

M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U' M2,9 moves and no U2 at end like in the standard one,this. Specific one is done with left hand M moves and the first U with the left index finger like in Ua perm

Is this an already know alg cuz it's very similar to the Ua perm

I've started learning blindfolded solving, and the first wall I hit was the lettering scheme. I wanted something I could do in short bursts on my phone when I didn't have a cube at hand, so I built one:

- Sticker to letter: a sticker is marked and you tap (or type) its letter.

- Letter to sticker: you get a letter and tap the sticker on a 3D cube (or on an unfolded cube).

- Focuses on your weak letters. Stickers you miss or are slow on come back more often.

- Stats so you can watch your times drop as you improve.

I very recently got into speedcubing and have stumbled across several Ua Perm variations. Which have you found to be fastest/most reliable?

Ua Perms:

1. R2 U' R' U' R U R U R U' R (I learned this one first, so it's currently my fastest and most reliable)
2. (R U R' U) R' U' (R2 U' R') U R' U R
3. M2 U M U2 M' U M2 (This is the trickiest for me because I struggle to do the middle M quickly and accurately. Any advice on how to improve this?)
