I understand it’s to stop exploiters and people who wanna take advantage of exotics but I enjoy swapping weapons mid match depending on how the enemy team plays.

I’ll be experimenting with a weird build in and start losing the game, shouldn’t I switch off? Like WOAH this build is horrible against this team, now you have no super, no class abilities, no ammo, and some hunter on the enemy team with meta guns who NEVER switches or experiments is on his 3rd golden gun. I feel like the game almost discourages experimenting and trying to have fun…

I get it in trials, comp, and maybe IB. But control? Cmon!

I see people getting to like 150/160 whereas the most I'm hitting is 130.

Hello, I used to play this game a lot. Recently me and some friends decided we wanted to re-download and 3 stack some comp with our old crafted beloved / austringer builds. When we got on the game we turned off mouse smoothing in the Cvar file to make sure we didn't get any input delay on our mice. We loaded into some comp and still felt noticeable input lag on our mice, I looked it up online and it turns out exclusive fullscreen mode was removed from the game last year and destiny 2 ran better on exclusive fullscreen for mouse input. Is there any other way to reduce my input delay on mouse? I have a 5070ti i9-14900k and this is not user error. Multiple people I know are experiencing the same mouse input delay compared to how the game used to feel and especially compared to other games.

Def more competitive with a pulse, but I love playing HCs. I only play solo, a bit of an introvert. Currently I typically try to shadow who I think is my best teammate, try to team shoot. But as far as overall HC play, def getting better with peek shooting but I have consistent trouble with knowing when to engage, when to stay crouched and out of site. Obv a lot is based on how good my opponent is, but sometimes I can be agressive and have some great games. Sometimes I die way too fast and let my team down. But it all feels very hit or miss

Looking to hear your thoughts on just a standard gameplay strategy I can take into every match as a solo player with a HC, something I can work on, get better at. Much like the HC, I love playing shottys, but def get more kills with my sidearm. So I typically run my Rose/Forgiveness loadout.

am a solar warlock main. ever since 4pc comp set came out ive been struggling to find a good exotic since it replaces my t steps. ophids is good but I don't use low handling weapons. i use a slickdraw felwinters or a high handling beloved and usually rose. i know astrocyte is popular but im not on void.

the other path would be to use a different armour set but idk which one

I just got my 4 pieces per audacia and I love it, it's like a free dune - I main titan - do I still need the mobility mod ? Is there a hard limit ?

I feel like a lot of people don’t know that under pressure + opening shot turns this sniper into aim bot. 35 zoom, double accuracy perks, AND the stability from UP makes this thing handle flinch better than most snipers.

You can swap out UP for LW, but IMO UP + OS makes this sniper unique and fills a niche that other snipers don’t occupy. That being a low zoom high impact with double accuracy perks.

IMO the handling feels fine with one targeting and dexterity, but if handling is an issue, I highly recommend trying it with dragon shadow or ophidians.

Edit: tactical mag is important. It lets under pressure proc with 2 bullets in the magazine. Better than extended mag or appended because of the stat bonuses. Unless you like playing floaty warlock, then extended is really good.

Last week I got Honors of Nine and Shaded envy this week I got Cobalt Clash and Bloodline Feud, both from 5 win streak lighthouse chest. Is that normal thought it was supposed to be 1 a week?

As the title says, I have been gone from the D2 space since Lightfall and am jumping back in. Got through all the DLC stories so far, so familiar with some of the class-change things, but weapon stats in PvP... does it make that much of a difference?

I see some builds online lean into it; some completely ignore it. I want to get into comp, so I'm trying to find comfortable builds to invest in and familiarise myself with (Usually Titan, but from the looks of PvP I may need to go to my hunter).

Also, the health stat seems to have changed; it's not as important as before now, either?

Matador 64 / Python / Prophet of Doom / Inquisitor / Felwinters Lie / ... Consider them all 5/5 rolls which one would be the best?

Hello im newer to the game and looking for help building my solar warlock kit. I see build videos etc. with people recommending these 2 different setups for PvP. Which one do y’all think is the better/more optimal setup for solar warlock and if you don’t mind explaining why that would be helpful!

How are the percentages applied?

For example if i have 5 percent from weapon surge, and then get 10 percent from elemental honing, does the elemntal honing add 10 percent to 105% or is it always a percentage of base?

Great video by Northern Ranger going over two piece combos people are playing with. Part one is an explanation of how armor sets work in case you are very new. This sequel video explains how crystocrene and exodus down pair together extremely well and shows it in action. This combo is the main culprit behind why people instantly heal mid gunfight.

Broodweaver in general is good but this exotic is so fun.

Just wanted to throw a post out to see if there were any vulpecula users out there. Was looking for other 180s to try to mix it up from B7, and noticed that vulpecula can roll with collective action and headstone. Im sure there’s some stasis titans chomping at the bit abusing this but was curious about a stasis Barrie build with this.
