Shubman gills 188 runs in the first innings helped team india to get the test match victory over pakistan.
1st Innings india scored 490 for 10 wickets. Sajid Khan delivered a marathon spell taking 7 for 207. Pakistan responded strongly Babar Azam led the fight with 93 runs pakistan scored 399 for 10 in the 2nd innings.
With a 91-run lead, India struggled in the 3rd innings pitch was turning and helping the spinners. India scored 247 for 10 in the 3rd innings. Abrar took 5 and sajid took 4 wickets.
Pakistan needed 339 runs for the victory in the 4th innings pitch was wearing and turning Pakistans batting collapsed Imam-ul-Haq was playing like a wall scored 75 off 258 balls but lacked support at the other end. India secured a 138 runs victory over Pakistan in the test match.

Babar scored 166 in 116 balls to take pakistan home. Secured the victory against Zimbabwe and avoided a major upset.
In the first innings Wessly Madhevere scored 125 in 85 balls dominating all the pakistani bowlers with 4 sixes and 17 fours in his innings And took zimbabwe to score 307 for 9. Almost winning the game by getting the top order wickets of pakistani batsmans early score was 63 for 3 wickets. Pakistan was panicking then Babar came scored 166 not out for pakistan smashed all the zimbabwe bowlers and secured a nail biting victory.

I just bought the game and I'm absolutely loving it so far. Congratulations and well done to the Dev. I really hope this game becomes even bigger.

I would just like to know whether there are plans to implement domestic leagues that are playable?

I just tried playing a Custom game ( a Test match) for the first time and I just loved the gameplay overall! Especially the different info that I get to see when I click on a batsman or a bowler mid game, the CricInfo style of commentary after every ball and the whole info package like partnerships, over by over runs scored to name some.
A 2D match view (similar to the old Nokia cricket games but polished) is all that is needed(as a small ish work) to increase the nostalgia factor more 🤣

I just have a few questions:

1. Is there anyway that we as users can change the jerseys that are shown here? And could there also be a generic Test and T20 jerseys for all the nations in game apart from this?

2. Could there also be an option to import IRL Cricket Association Logos as well or just add them to the game somewhere?

3. This is more a request - Is something like a retro mode thought about as a game mode like the game starting in the 80s, 90s, 2000s or 2010s etc where upon each of the eras have their playstyle emulated by the match engine (less focus on power hitting in the earlier eras to name one)

Overall, this looks like a solid base game to me and I am eagerly waiting to see what the future updates bring to enhance this game more! And I am thinking that in the far future a 3D match view is planned? Or will it be mostly text based itself? I know it is haphazardly written, but just sharing the things that just bounce off my mind here XD

v1.0.2 is out now. Update the game via steam next time before you launch. All current saves will keep working without issues.

Major Features:

• Rain affected ODI/T20 matches which are handled by the DLS rule
  • Official ICC DLS formulas/rules are used
  • Chance of rain is derived by actual weather conditions/history of the ground. So, you will see rain more frequently in Sri Lanka but might not see much in UAE.
• Injury Replacements - one of the most requested feature by fans is finally here. Replace injured players from your squad. You should see a "Replace" button on the bottom right Availability widget on the hub.
• Custom player photos via the db editor. All players have a unique id. So you can bulk add photos too and share your folder with the community. Even saved games will pick these up.
• Test matches have proper ground timings, session timings and rain/bad weather are now shown as interruptions - making it more immersive and realistic.
• More in-match event popups. And now, you can also turn off the ones you don't want via dedicated setting button on the match screen.
  • You will still see events on the bottom left ticker panel - making the experience broadcast like
• You can now view how the pitch/conditions have changed during the course of a test match using the dedicated "Day by day" button on the match screen.
• Switch to Windowed mode using toggle buttons on both Windows and MacOS any time. Check Main menu -> Settings

Bugs Fixed:

• Player profile quick view - age value wasn't progressing with career
• T20 group matches didn't have Super Over
• Toss - people were able to go back and re-do the toss. The outcome won't change now. No cheating guys!

Database Updates:

• Updates various retirements and skill values as per feedback
• Added some players. Most notable was - Simon Harmer
• Updated teams' default lineups to reflect current cricket.

Really thankful for the wonderful feedback and reviews people keep coming up with. The game is looking really stable, bug-free and full of features now. 🙏

DLS and rain interruptions in one day and T20 matches was supposed to be part of the release version itself. But the pile of work at the end meant I had to leave it for a later update. That update is coming tomorrow, along with proper test match clocks, injury replacements and custom player pictures.

The DLS method used in the game is as per ICC rules and the chances of rain are aligned with actual ground weather conditions in real life.

Post that, I believe the game will come in a proper state and I will let you guys have a good play for a couple of weeks while I work on the revamped training system. It's been lovely to see all positive reviews on steam. I hope it keeps going.

The preview of the player profile doesn't age, even as the player does.

After almost 20 hours in the game, my suggestions to further enhance the game -

1. A more detailed training system - To train specific skills such as Fielding, Wicket keeping, Type of bowling, batting attributes etc

2. More visibility/Control of A team/U19 team

3. Budget - This can be introduced to manage central contracts possibly introducing further A/B/C categories to central contracts, can be used for player rehabilitation, Enhanced player training, Hire specialised coaches which impact player performance, development etc

4. Introducing leagues around the world - This can introduce players who specialise only in such leagues, player preferences of the formats etc. Players not under central contracts can choose to play other leagues around the world. Could also maybe introduce the option to manage one or more of the teams in these leagues instead of the National teams.

5. Press releases/Newsletters - This will further enhance the immersion

6. Facilities - This can introduce upgrading your training/rehabilitation facilities which have an impact on the speed of development/rehab.

Incidentally there have been multiple releases in the past few months for cricket manager games and I bought all of them, including the latest cricket captain, in my search for a good game but after a few hours of playing it just fell off because either it was half baked, or there was too much going on or the UI/UX was clunky.

But I bought this game yesterday, and I already have 10+ hours into the game in the last 24 hours. Used the database update someone posted in the community to update real names.

It is brilliant so far, match engine seems more or less pretty accurate but ofcourse there will be constant tweaking of it for a while.

It somehow has the perfect balance of details and simplicity.

Excited for what's in store for this game!

I dunno if I am just cursed but I've played more than 30 games now in various formats, I have probably won the toss a total of four times.

Feels a bit off to me.

Thanks to the devs who developed this wonderful game. Gameplay is balanced as per player abilities and so far enjoying it. Its definitely way better then cricket captain. Thanks to the cricket team manager devs for providing us a great cricket management game. What we have been looking for over the past few years. I recommend everyone to play and buy this game.

Injury replacements were requested by quite a few people and they definitely make the game more realistic and fun. Coming along nicely and will be in the update releasing this weekend. It will probably become an exclusive feature of CTM as I haven't seen it in Cricket Captain, Cricket Coach or the other newer games. Another impactful feature I am working on is the DLS. Need to get it right as it can be tricky.

Really nice to see people posting on the subreddit and it getting busy. Until release, it was just me doing all the posts. I think it won't be long before the community stalwarts take over here and hopefully on the Discord server (which I will set up soon) and i can focus on the coding and feature updates. I always wanted to build a good community around the game and let users drive the features in the game. Slowly and steadily, we are moving in that direction.

Also taking care of a dog tonight - showed up at our doorstep at night, scared and confused. Have set up a small bed for him in the garage for the night. Can't bring him inside because of the toddler and our grumpy cat. Have posted in the neighbourhood groups and hopefully he will be re-united with his family tomorrow morning.

A few people have mentioned a discord server for the game. I might sound old here, but have never used discord. Will it be useful? Should I try and set it up?
Would be nice if people can volunteer and take care of it because as the game is growing, it's going to be difficult for me to monitor everything all the time while also making sure features are released on schedule.

It'd be awesome if all the major T20 leagues and county teams could be added in the database. Not asking to make em playable, just make them simulate in the background but make the stats visible. I am pretty sure this will help a lot in T20I's team selection. For county, what I want is the foreign player system to be implemented. Again, no need to make it playable just let it simulate in the background and just make the stats visible.

I'll make a post about what I like and don't like when I've played more. But so far I'm enjoying it

I am playing as AUS. As you can see the run rate is still very much above 5. Some might say that this is due to Head batting which is partly true but this is not a one time occurrence. In the SA tour, I saw Markram and Bavuma hitting my bowlers all around the ground w a run rate of around 6. Also, Chakravarthy in tests? Seems very odd to me.

I am not trying to berate the game. This is just some constructive criticism for the dev because I absolutely love the game and want it to be a commercial success. They have been very appreciative of the community so far and have replied to queries and suggestions very quickly as well.

I really hope this can be resolved in due time
