I used to play a lot with my family when I was a kid so this feels nice rip share it with my son!

We started a few days ago and he loved it so I bought a cheap board from Amazon. The pegging really added to his fun!

Anyway on our like 3rd game I got a double-double run!

4-4-5-6 and a 6

For 24 points!

Anyway really enjoy playing with my son. The memories are flooding back!

I think it’s pretty neat.

This message surprised me, it followed what I felt was a good game, but not a great one. Felt amazing to read nonetheless.

I’ve been playing and building a free daily cribbage solitaire called Cribbage Square. You place 16 cards in a 4x4 grid, rows and columns each score as a cribbage hand with a shared starter card, and you need 61 to win.

Today’s deal looked like a gift: starter 10♠, three 5s, and a pile of kings, queens, and jacks. I got two 14s by putting a pair of 5s in the top-right corner so they count in both a row and a column, but I couldn’t find a home for the third 5 and finished on 51.

Did anyone find a way to get to 61? Do you stack the 5s together for the big hand, or spread them out?

If you want to try the same deal (it’s the same for everyone, free, no signup): pegandpip.com

What suit was your Jack?

Got this hand dealt twice in the same game, 3 hands apart.

This is most of them… I used to have about double this, but ended up selling a bunch to clear space.

Been wanting to make my own online cribbage for quite a while. So i finally did, it's still a work in progress but its mostly up and running aside from a few minor tweaks.

Enjoy and feel free to leave any feedback, thanks!

Definitely a first for me on CribbagePro.

I went to a remote cabin earlier this year and saw a similar antler crib board. Mentioned to my friend that it was the coolest piece I’ve ever played on. Found one this weekend at a thrift store for $40CAD. Missing a set of pegs but that’s fine 😊

Bought for $22 dollars

Wanted to thank my uncle and aunt for hosting my family at their weekend house on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands 2 months ago. Their family is into board games, so I decided to to try my hand at a cribbage board in the shape of Lopez Island. As a nod to the red-barked native madrona tree which is borderline endangered, I chose cherry for the island. The sea is wavy maple. The base is walnut. Designed the track to end at arguably the most beautiful bay on the island: Watmough Bay. The irregular shape of the island proved a good excuse to purchase a scroll saw (love projects that 'require' a new tool purchase). ;)

368 players.

Youngest 7.5yo (didn't qualify but won several games including beating me).

2nd youngest, about 12yo (estimated), DID qualify.

12yo through to 2nd round.

Made some custom name pegs for cribbage boards

My family plays a lot of cribbage, so I started making pegs with names or little symbols on them. Here are some of the ones I've done so far.

If you're ever replacing pegs, check your hole size first. Most boards are 1/8" but the jumbo ones are 3/16", so they won't fit if you grab the wrong ones.

I'm the one making them ( cribpegz.ca if you want to look) so ask me anything about them. Also curious how you all keep from losing pegs?

Full disclosure, I made this. Pick your four cards and the starter, and it shows the total with every fifteen, pair, run, flush and nobs listed, and reads the count out the way you'd say it at the table. There's a tick box for scoring a crib, where only a five-card flush counts.

Calculator: https://cardcouch.com/cribbage/learn/hand-calculator

It runs on the same scoring code as the cribbage game on the same site, free and vs the computer, no account: https://cardcouch.com/cribbage. So if the calculator is wrong, the game is wrong too, and I'd like to know. Hands you think it miscounts, or counting situations it doesn't handle, are exactly what I'm after.

There's also a one-page printable scoring chart if anyone wants one for the table: https://cardcouch.com/cribbage/learn/scoring-chart

I got fed up with ads in cribbage apps, so I made my own: free, no ads, no sign-up

Hi all, hope this is okay to post here (mods, feel free to remove it if not).

Every cribbage app I tried was full of ads, so I built my own with the help of AI: https://cribbage.poths.com

• Play against the computer at three levels (easy, medium, hard)
• Play friends in real time, each on their own phone: share a link or QR code
• Short interactive lessons if you’re teaching someone new
• Runs in the browser, and you can add it to your home screen. No account, no tracking, no ads.

It’s a hobby project, so I’d love your feedback, especially if you spot a scoring mistake or think the hard bot isn’t hard enough. What would you want added?

Note that I am the bottom player, and initially led the 9.

Bored at work, brought the essentials, and I usually have terrible luck with this game, not being able to start a second lap.

Except here I got 121 points before totalling all points in my last hand, with 4 cards left in the deck??????

Break a peg everyone!

I'm doing some Cribbage research and would love to know how people started playing Cribbage and why you like this game over other ones like hearts or spades. I played a lot of card games when I was a kid, but in high school started playing Cribbage with my friend who had a board sitting around his house. We enjoyed the 2 player aspect of the game, and the board gave us some more stuff to look at. Curious about other people's experiences.

Alright cribbage friends! Give me your best pegging tips. My partner is an awesome pegger and I ….. am not always. Sometimes I try to play defensively and just set it up so no one gets many points but when I need points I always end up giving him a bunch! Help with tips!
