Vent Venting
**I keep my DMs open for other creators who genuinely have advice or want to talk. If you are hoping to be my manager or something similar I’m not interested.**
2016-around 2019 things were so great starting this pathway.. I wasn’t making crazy money but my hopes and dreams were high and I was very motivated to rise. Covid hit and the “golden era” of OF hit and I started making a few thousand a week and could have made more if I wasn’t simultaneously taking care of a newborn. Reddit was the place to be and posting here actually felt rewarding. Every site felt like it had potential if I put my time and effort into it. Then at some point over the past few years AI really got big, algorithms changed, page layouts changed, ID related changes occurred, etc. and my subscriber count started dwindling down to where it was before 2020. Basically, I noticed the decline and was already burned out and started worrying about all of the possibilities with my face and the use of AI that I sort of just froze and now I make 99% of my money from my loyal fans who never left. Basically I’m finding it extremely difficult to find my place in the promoting world again…I’d really love to expand the communities that I can post in on here but I’ve been worried about something happening to my account since it feels like everything nowadays gets you banned. There’s something else that changed to.. the community here changed which has been really depressing.. it feels like the community left and is having a party somewhere else but didn’t invite me (lol). I know that’s not actually the case but anyway one time I tried to reach out to a creator on here and I was told I had to pay to be in a special group with advice.. ha.. I’m at this point where for the 3rd time in my run I want to change my name and brand again… seeing my face when subscribing used to be a selling point for me but now I want to remove my face completely unless a trusted sub spends a lot for such videos… has anyone else done that? Alright, that’s my vent.
