I kept getting an error message saying that there may be filament jammed or broken off in the buffer. So when I came to check all I seen was about 3 feet of filament sticking out the back of the CFS

I wanted to make something Halloween-themed that wasn't just another decoration. At first, it looks like a little cauldron filled with bubbling potion, but the top actually pulls out into a long, flexible twisty fidget. Once you're done playing with it, the whole thing folds back into the pot.

I genetrated this from NASA LRO elevation data, relief exaggerated 2.5× so every crater rim catches the light. The location is around Boussingault crater, centred at 70.6° S, 59.0° E. The model uses 4 colors. two grey tones, black and white. Some colours would fit better but i did not have them. The third pictures shows what the part of the moon actually looks likes and what it would look likt printed with the perfect colours.

Hey everyone, I got a quick question. Maybe anyone uses a similiar setup and can tell me if it works or not.

Im using the official multifunctional protective cover from Creality for my Ender3V3KE and now im thinking about upgrading to the new sparkx i8.

From what I could find out, the i7 and i8 are nearly the same size.

WxHxD from the Cover inside is

60cm x 60-63cm x 75cm

Width and depth should be fine.

Just curious about the height. Would it fit with the ptfe tubes or should it even work when I put the Filament rolls on the rack from the cover itself.

Already asked the Support, but no answer yet.

Maybe anyone can Help.

Made this compact little shoehorn to make slipping into sneakers easier without bending the heel. It takes around 27 minutes to print and uses just 13g of filament. Nothing groundbreaking, but honestly, these small everyday fixes are one of my favorite things about 3D printing.

Here’s my latest project: Tilt Maze, a 3D-printed marble labyrinth with two handles to tilt the board and guide the ball.

I’ve been printing items for my store on it for the last six months, and recently the quality has dropped quite a bit. I’ve been struggling to get the prints to complete, and they were working just fine. I noticed some of the corners on the part seemed to be bulging out, signaling that the pressure advance would be off. I’ve never used the automatic pressure advance calibration because the default settings worked just fine. I have checked the default pressure advance settings are for that filament and there are .44 does anybody know if this has changed? Was it always 0.44?

Idk why this is happening everything is maintained well

I start a print and left it alone for a while and when I checked on it the print was sliding all over the plate and the nozzle and surrounding area was covered. I got a chunk off but I can't get the rest

hey guys i know this question has been asked a thousand times i haven been reading all the stuff posted here already but i still felt it would be better to ask the current community standard

i am a college student new to the 3d printing side of things (in terms of owning a machine) my first interaction of working with 3d printers was printing functional parts in pla for the electronics project using the creality k1

it was a mind blowing experience watching that thing at work the ability of making stuff from nothing with a thin strand of filament was amazing

right now i am planning on buying a printer for my own use for my own projects that i want to work on

so here is the dilemma :

i want to buy the k2 with cfs (this is the only one available from where i am present since the stock k2 is already was sold out) due to the controversial practices of bambu i want to own whatever i buy and do what ever i want and i dont want another company have a say in this matter but i also dont want to ignore the fact that bambu produces good hardware (and there is a way to lock it down from internet) plus i want to print various carbon fiber stuff for some of my parts (i can just use the k2 without the cfs since cfs has issues with abrassive stuff and also i need to buy a hardened steel nozzle ig ?)

but the bambu labs p2 looks extrememly tempting to me it looks like an absolute workhouse but as i said the controversy is what makes me look at it in bad light what if they decide to become like stupid hp printer stuff ? other than that i cant find to say anything about these printers they seem like industrial machines that just work plus they can handle CF filaments too

i know creality has some isues with quality control and in general their printers at times could lead you to have bad experience even in the innovation labs i had to fix the k1 at times but taking out the bowden tube (but this is a problem with most 3d printers ig and also filament issue ?) and some times clogging but i can clean it out so not so bad

i request the community here to over some arguments why between theese two which is better and why based on if you haves used these printers and how they perform would absoulutely love to hear your insight s which could break this deadlock i have

i am still leaning on buying the creality k2 with the cfs it goes for like ₹ 59,999.00and the ps2 is like₹ 67999.00

i am planning on buying this now before some stupid tariffs come into effect in my country

Help me guys I’m too confused should I bambu lab p1s at 350 euro or K2 for around the same price

My main aim of these printer is to make mold and create some CF plane

We have 2 other k2 maxes and no issues with that so I don’t think it’s software. So what happens is the printer will print a layer lien to tow and then keep going till it “finishes” the print but obviously doesn’t. I open up the extruder just to see this shredded filament everywhere. It’s happens twice now I don’t know if it’s a settings issue or calibration. I’ve replaced the nozzle hotend and extruder.

For some reason, I noticed a print of mine was stringing badly, so I stopped it immediately (it was still on the first layer) and started test extruding, and this happens where is extrudes in 2 lines then ties itself up and becomes 1 string again. Any clue why this is happening? My best guess is an extruder clog.

I got it barely used from my friend and I’ve barely used it myself.

as the title suggests…

i bought a used unit from the official creality store in ebay and received one that was originally refurbished (per the box labels) and then the person before me returned it and then i bought it.

initially everything seemed fine apart from several scratches on the unit itself and missing parts that usually come with it, until i got to the self check process screen and clicked start.

after doing so i got a pop up that says: “system preparing, please wait…”

the pop up goes away after a few seconds and then the screen with the start button remains there, i have tried doing the usb trick but it doesn’t do anything.

worth mentioning it always displays 28 degrees which apparently might point to a nozzle assembly problem. i obviously asked for help from the ebay storefront but they only replied once asking for a photo and never replied (been 3 days) even after constantly messaging them.
