After her first few sheds she was unfortunately a muddy orange color, but after adding in color enhancing granules, her colors have really boomed. Iām especially a fan of the magenta splotches down her sides. If any of yall give her compliments, Iāll be sure to pass them along. Her names Aoi btw.

Had to leave for a three day trip at 3am this morning, and caught my Boi in the act of redecorating his Hoard.
I just spent the last 2 days doing a full re design of his tank to lift the lid off his 20g long. I've added more plants, Co2, and an evening sponge filter for now. I will be finishing my diy canister filter next weekend. And then I will go through and plant bamboo along the back left to hide the cords. Super happy with how this tank is comming together, I plan to swap out these breeding mollies for some pearl Cory's in the future to match the sand and crayfish.

so I bought this what I thought was a dwarf cpo cray a few months ago but shortly after he got huge and grew very fast. I used to have one a few years ago and he was significantly smaller than this guy. He's molted at least 5 times since I got him, I've never seen an orange non dwarf crayfish so thats why im curious.

so I have 2 crays and I want to get them more ātoysā or hides but can barley find anything that fills my idea. Iām looking for something similar to a hamster tube that iām able to suction to the inside of the tank for them to be able to climb it as they looove to climb. Iād love any ideas or to see what you guys have for enrichment/entertainment or just ātoysā. Iāve also seen some people say their crays love marbles but I have yet to try whatās ur opinion??

Lots of hiding places. Snake skins for calcium catfood diet.

Bought this crayfish at petco, they were selling her as an Alleni but she looks like some kind of cherax to me. Iāve never had a crayfish before so Iām not sure but I was shopping for pulchers for a while so I bought her right away. My boyfriend said itās a female if that helps

Sharing some good crawfish vibes with Cramer! š¦
Today was his first time trying tuna, but heās definitely no stranger to eating fish. I used to have four minnows in his tank⦠letās just say population control has brought that number down to two. š
Cramer also recently pulled off a great escape, but heās back home now, living his best post-escape life and enjoying some fresh tuna. Life is good for this little guy!

Anytime the blood worms come out, my year old female is voracious, at times she will exit the water and wave at me.

Dude has multiple hides but no he chooses to hang UPSIDE DOWN on a hornwort mat at the surface. He stays there for hours usually.

Not sure why heās on the filter intake but you do you, Tangent.
Also excuse my terrible photography Iām still figuring out how to take clear pictures from outside the tank.

Weāve only had her a few months and this is the first time weāve seen her in this position. She looks so sad. Is she resting? Or does this mean she is sick?

My sweet girl. She's been through so much in the last few months when I couldn't see her or do much except change her water while she moulted. This looks like shell rot to me, and she surely can't molt again anytime soon - what do I do? Thanks for the love, she's the best.

Hello there,
I have questions about my crayfish because I still cannot understand if this is a CPO or else.
Here is the buddy : BarnabƩ.
I bought him at a pet store back a month and a half ago as CPO Crayfish. From head to tail without claws, he is around 8cms. With claws, 10cms.
BarnabƩ has been eating my poor plants, even the thick ones and I had to strip them all off my 200 liters tank.
Now, my questions are :
If not CPO, what is BarnabƩ?
If CPO, he is BIG.
On a big man like him, what tips could you share for his feeding? I have wood fiber wafers for him, or Axolotl wafers, any recommendations ?
I am here for any further questions, I just want the best for him. Thanks!
