I fucked up a bit yesterday. I don’t know where my mind was. I was very tired after I had walked 200km over Spain in 8 days on the Camino. I bought lots of weed for my journey and I couldn’t for the life of me remember where the hell it was gone, or had I smoked it all or most of. Had I giving it all away ? I was mad to give it away on my last night and couldn’t remember how much I managed to give. I was drinking and I don’t usually drink.

Turns out the stupid fucking head on me had it in a hiking pants in my suitcase. I also had 5 capsules of weed from my TinyMight in a smell proof wallet on my person.

This was literally the most stupid thing I’ve done since in my 20’s. Now 40’s. My job and future career could have been lost had I gotten caught.

So yeah, I was not organised. I had a Hazey memory. I had drinks the night before leaving and the day of leaving cause I HATE flying. My biggest fear. And I don’t drink as a rule and had I had a Xanax prescription I wouldn’t have drank. It’s one of the many things I forget to do before setting sail!

My mind was all over the shop. So now I have a load of weed from Spain which I didn’t need cause I’ve my own stash at home and I genuinely feel shit about it. I keep getting these chills of fear of what could/might have happened 😭 the alcohol hangover is probably not helping.

I don’t know about anybody can knowingly smuggle drugs for a living. If I’d have known I was packing weed I’d have been shiiiiting it !

I’m a current PhD researcher with a public health qualification currently based here in Ireland (originally from somewhere with legal cannabis). Over the last while, I’ve gotten pretty concerned watching the absolute mess the synthetic cannabinoid ("spice") market is causing.

From a harm reduction standpoint, the data on THC vs. synthetic cannabinoids isn't even close spice is significantly more toxic, unpredictable, and dangerous. By keeping cannabis entirely illegal and unregulated, we're basically driving people straight into an unregulated market filled with much worse synthetic alternatives.

Moving toward cannabis decriminalization/regulation feels like a logical public health step to displace the spice market and actually keep people safer.

I’d love to get involved in advocacy or research work around this in Ireland. Does anyone know any local groups, student networks, or campaigns pushing for drug policy reform that I could reach out to?

I'd like to try smoking in my room, especially on rainy days when I can't go outside. The only problem is that I live in a shared rental house, and I believe there's a smoke alarm outside my room in the hallway. I know the best option is to smoke outside ( as always I do) , but I'd like to smoke in my room near the window every now and then. I'm worried about doing so because the smoke might escape from the room and disturb my tenants, who might report it to the landlord.

I've been in Galway the last 3 weeks organising the move and I've been actively searching for the scent if green, even on shop street?! Hello my fellow stohers and stonhees. I’m over here walking Camino de Santiago in Spain. Stopped off in Madrid for a few essentials 🍃 before setting off on my journey. 🚶‍♀️

I’m well into my walk now and have gotten to the stage where I said I’d try one of the “Top Shelf Cali’s” I picked back in Madrid.

I am walking for 2 weeks, and for anyone that doesn’t know about the Camino, it’s basically walking across northern and rural Spain, stopping in villages every 5-7km and having food or maybe a beer if that’s your thing, or a smoke along the way.

Maybe I was too excited in Madrid or maybe this is legit stuff, but probably more the excitement of it all.

I usually smoke and vape organic living soil home grown and know I’m not getting that any time I leave the friends circle. I suppose I said I would get some “Top Shelf” for the end of the big 40km days. That’s today for me. It’s a 40km day and I’m rolling this up thinking, is it worth it ?

What are your thoughts ? I have loads more so wouldn’t be the end of the world if you all said it’s sprayed as fuck and to ditch it.

Also, lads and ladies, if you’re single and a stoner or in a relationship with a non stoner and want a holiday that’s different. Go on Camino.

the department of health is finally running its review of the medical cannabis access programme (mcap) and the ministerial licence pathway. the review group was given 12 months from april 2026 to finish, so we won't see the final report or recommendations until spring 2027, but are halfway there.

the review group is supposed to assess expanding eligible conditions and fixing access.

what conditions do you think are the absolute minimum they need to include for this scheme to stop being a complete failure?

and do you think consultants here will actually start prescribing even if they widen it?

Before anyone says the cannabis clubs i had visited one about 5 days ago, got some lovely stuff and brought it out with me too... but ever since then EVERY single one of the clubs around Salou has been "Temporarily closed" though cant find out why. Would anyone know any way of finding anything good without one of those clubs?

Heading to Malaga in a few weeks. Looking mostly for good CBD to dry herb vape, but I'd love a blend of low THC to high CBD ratio. Any clubs offer that? Not sure which area I'm staying yet. I'll Uber to wherever has what I'm looking for.

Following question is then getting the stuff back to accomodation. Google results are very ominous about stop and searches plus fines of €300-€600. Plain clothes waiting around to catch tourists out etc. What have people's experiences been? I'd know to bring smell proofing container, but I'd be nervous about the rest and it's much needed first family holiday, scraping the pennies together. I'd prefer to avoid hassle even if I have to go without pain management. All thoughts welcome!

I smoked a mix of weed and hash in a bong and got twice as high as I have ever been before. I couldn't move and got into a bad trip for the first time in my life.

I walked to kitchen a few times and every step felt like I was pushing against a wall.

I was having scary and stupid thoughts but also awareness that this is just a bad trip.

Then I went to pee and but just puked in the toilet.

And immediately started feeling much better. I got out of the bad trip and started enjoying it again. My body felt slow but completely in control.

How did puking reduced the effects of weed that was smoked?

So many posts the last week regarding HHC and young lads getting psychosis and it’s bad for you and it needs to be banned etc et etc

Do they not realise it’s because of the continuous criminalisation of THC that all these by-products become really popular and people keep getting them thinking it’s a better alternative and it’s “legal”

It’s quite infuriating seeing all these posts and not one of them wants to have an educated conversation as to why these products are popular or becoming more prevalent?

theres been quite a few edible cake bussinesses getting big around dublin. Namely a bunch around northside in town. I dont mean stores its like pages and stuff. From actually seeing the process one person uses they use rso and another page uses cannabutter they make from shake and these are actually putting out relatively big numbers and day. Im just tryna see if anyone has experiences with these businesses because ive only had edibles here in ireland, whenever it was jellies and stuff in himdsight they were probably not thc at all. The cakes though are definitely atleast in part thc but they feel sooo heavy and strong and aive heard a rumor some people might be putting in benzos or zopiclone or something in them? i feel like if i tried edibles legally at high doses id be able to compare anyone have experience?? I also read rso is significantly stronger at putting you on your bum because all the other compounds? maybe someone here knows more than me
