golden cookies dont play

I"m reading the guides for which upgrades to put in upgrade slots "after fortunes but before late game"

everyone i can find says "use most expensive building biscuit" AFAIK the building buiscuts just give +10% cookie multiplier.

BUt I have things like the santas dominion that gives 20%, or the birthday cookie that gives 13%.

Seems like the guides woulnd't overlook something so obvious so am I wrong and why?

I have like 300 prestige or something but got the 7x golden cooke, waited and got a wrath cookie after the 3 min (like 30-40 sec left on 7x), and also click hand of fate which got a golden one. I got the 777x and obviously went straight for the godzamok thing. that finished and I figured id go for the wrath cookie and turns out it was elder frenzy (666x) :(. I mean it's obviously just luck but should I be trying to go for wrath cookies after getting a 7x and 777x? It would have been whatever 7 * 777 * 666 * 10 is. Im new too the game and don't know if I should just be banking on a like 5% chance for elder frenzy when I got a great combo already

Salt is as valuable as diamonds I guess. Who knows what these people did to the ocean for this to happen.

Is it on player imput? Completely random, is it an algorithm or rng + algorithm etc. Don't tell me exactly how it works, just a idea so I can know what to expect.

I am playing the steam version and when I close the game the offline doesn't work and I don't gain cookies offline, how do I fix?

I have clicked 1822 golden cookies and i just got sweet, what is the chance of it. I have never seen it before

I figured out how to do the Force Hand of Fate strat recently where I pair it with natural 7x gold cookies and godzamok/muridal/vomitrax. Although I have a question thats confusing me. I have the max amount of wrinklers active at all times but im wondering if doing that makes the Force Hand strategy weaker considering they drop your overall cps by alot meaning they also drop your click power, do most people pop all their wrinklers before starting a Force Hand strat? Im guessing thats how it works because I assume the wrinklers wouldnt catch anything earned or lost from clicking without having your cps at its prime.

Currently I am at 81.568 Septendecillion CPS, but when I woke up it was 79. When I went to bed it was 80. Why the fluctuation?

I'm zoomed out all the way, using the silk browser, and the official browser version of Cookie clicker, and even though I screw all the way to the bottom of the page, I can't see any buildings past shipments. I'm getting billions of cookies per second but my game will never get past the space stage! Cookies society can no longer progress.

I have just moved my save file to steam from the web version and downgraded from 2.058 to 2.053, but the achievements are not showing up on my steam profile (75% unlocked) . I am currently using a mac, does switching to windows help? I do not have any shadow achievements.

I'm playing on Steam and aiming to get everything to level 10 for the achievements. From what I can tell, it'll take multiple years to get enough sugar lumps to actually level everything up to 10, right?

I've seen screenshots from other players where they say the only achievement they're missing is the "have a legacy for at least a year" achievement, so did they cheat?

I'm not looking to "cheat", but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious to get these lumps faster.

I can get it on all other devices, but I can't get it on my phone that I usually use!
