At what point is your hobby more about the technology to read the books than the books themselves?

This feels egregious to me because e-readers tend to last SO long if you take care of them (I have one from 2011), they're pretty simple pieces of tech, and it's very easy to download books directly onto them (if say, you don't want a Kindle to access the Amazon exclusives). There's genuinely no reason to have more than 1.

they better start writing a trilogy/series in those books

If I don’t have the optional Power Tailgate how the fuck am I supposed to change my kids diapers

Shaking and crying so badly rn

I probably have about 20 more that aren’t pictured here. Most of these either came from a dump or recycling center or were given to me by friends and family but I have bought a few of them.

The actual one comes with 4 games as well.

Everyone needs 3 PS5s right?

i’m an electrician, and man has Klein gone downhill lately. and i guarantee you i’ll see these listed on ebay for twice as much as what he paid for them.

Over the past few years I’ve really liked wearing hats. I mostly own hats of my local sports teams but a handful wear souvenirs from museums and places I have been too. All together in these pictures I have 16 hats. I ordered a new hat recently after seeing it on sale and I feel like I’m reaching a point where this is becoming excessive. I do wear some hats more than others, but I would say all of them get worn during their respective seasons. For example I’m not wearing my Mets hats but I am wearing the Rangers Knicks and Jets one at the moment. I think if I go beyond this point it’s alittle absurd. Is this a reasonable amount of hats or do I have a problem?
