Tried my hand at using some of my acrylic markers, not sure if I’m a fan of them! 🤣 They almost seem to ball up just like acrylic paint that’s too old! I’ve only had the markers like a month. Do all of the acrylics make little goober balls or is it the way I tried using them? 🥴 maybe I need acrylic gel pens. Ideas? Recommendations?

It’s also the first time I really tried to add extra white gel pen, does that look alright? I felt like I didn’t know where to put it because of the yellow casting from the candles and different lights! 🕯️

Whenever I color without looking at anyone else's work for inspiration, I never seem to be happy with how it turns out. 😵

Not to knock anyone who likes/doesn't mind AI produced imaging materials but I just dont. And this book...images are bad quality, the paper is bad quality, and overall I think its a waste. Cant even use it to test new ideas or coloring concepts because the paper quality is so awful. I wouldnt feel so bad if I didnt pay for it but I can't return it now either. I could've at least gotten a small meal or supported an actual artist. So the least I can do is just inform other people. If you come across Coloring Kawaii Cuties, know that they use AI. And now that I think about it...this book is most likely a ripoff of the Kawaii Cuties Coloring series. ugh. Just terrible all around.💔

My son has loved seeing my coloring pages and requested I color this one for him. He’s 3! I’m so so happy with how it came out and I wanted to share! I’ve only been coloring for about 3 weeks but I’m really improving and learning new things :) I’m very proud of this one!!

i like this vibe but most coloring apps' illustration are way more generic or overly cute/childish. also no AI please. i don't mind paying.

Not embarrassed to admit that I took inspiration off of a (much better) ghost picture, that I liked on here recently. I loved the colour theme so wanted to give it a go myself 😊

Tried my hand at a window frame shadow.. I think I sorta missed the mark a little bit but not terribly, I guess. Anyone have any notes on what I could have done different? Since I kinda messed up, I took the opportunity to just play around on the rest of the page (I.e. “fuzzy” textures, old worn out looks, etc) I also did the window a darker blue originally and realized that just didn’t make sense, so I had to go over in a yellow acrylic, so the window looks a bit janky as well😂 better than it did before tho I guess.

Anyway, any tips appreciated!

I'm trying to organize my art supplies and I've got a haul of markers, both water & alcohol based. Most of them are Ohuhus but I've also got some Winsor & Newton Promarkers, a handful of Copics etc. I'm looking for a storage solution that can fit them all, but I'm worried the varying sizes might make it hard because a lot of desktop storage seems to be specially made for one brand or the other.

Can anyone recommend me storage that could hold multiple brands of marker?
