It’s a big one but only big ones left. Big Mac, Donnie Baseball and the elusive Mike Greenwell left to finish the set.

I picked up the 2011 Bowman Chrome reprint of the Ichiro Rc for a couple bucks the other day. It’s an official Topps reprint card, not a counterfeit. Here it is compared to the real one from 2001. Had this one graded myself way back when CGC first started grading and had sub grades. It’s why I didn’t send it back in to get the new label. The original card were only available as refractors whereas the reprint weren’t. So that one big difference. Another difference is the smaller borders. Also the reprints are only in English I think. Cool because my original one is in Japanese, so now I have a copy that I can read.

This card is the only evidence you need for why the PED users should be in the HOF

Okay, yes I'm aware there is a quadruple diamond. But these are pretty great too.

One of the best bang for the buck 90s parallels out there, IMHO.

Now that my beloved Cleveland Guardians have ONCE AGAIN broken my heart by ONCE AGAIN losing after leading in a huge postseason series.. this sad dad is MOVING ON TO NHL SEASON BABY!

Here’s my favorite (Newly minted Captain) BobTom. Upper Deck has some pretty fun parallels I’m happy to share with you guys over the next 7 or 8 months 😂 Let’s Go Bluuuuueees!

Mantle (famously or infamously) struggled with alcoholism. He experienced pretty extensive abuse as a child and also believed that he would die early as both his father and grandfather died of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in their 40’s. It turns out this was because they both worked in the mines inhaling zinc and lead all day and Mantle was never at risk for this.

The card is from my dad’s childhood collection and the ball was a gift from a friend of my dad’s who worked the kitchen at the Atlantic City casino Mantle was doing signings at in the 80’s. He got Mantle to sign it on his lunch break.
