I'm turning 40, and I don't want my birthday party entrance to be basic. I want something fun, memorable, completely over the top.

I'm making an ENTRANCE.

And I need FOUR guys with a sense of humor, confidence, and absolutely no fear of looking ridiculous to help me pull this off.

Here's the vision:

💪 THE ENTRANCE: Nothing too complicated. The five of us appear on stage together, arms up, moving to the beat like we own the damn place. Simple, synchronized, and ridiculously confident.

🔥 THE PERFORMANCE: Around 30 seconds into the song, I'm lowered onto the stage. We break into a simple, semi-choreographed dance routine. Nothing crazy or professional.

💥 THE GRAND FINALE: We keep the routine going, the guys spread out, and I take center stage with some extra moves and other ridiculous shit.

The entire performance is approximately LESS THEN 2MIN!

💪 WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:

• Four guys, 21+, who are outgoing, dependable, and have a great sense of humor.

• You do NOT need to be a professional dancer.

Recommendations for any free overnight parking around CB area?

We have 7-10 days over Thanksgiving to spend in Florida and my ten year old is interested in learning to surf. I've read Cocoa Beach would be the best option for that. Will the water be warm enough to swim without a wetsuit at the end of November? Any recs for where to take him for lessons (and possibly our 6 year old as well)?

Greetings everyone. I'll be in Cocoa Beach from 11/1 to 12/20. I'll probably have loads of questions. My first question: Best restaurants/bars in the city?

I realize that’s desperately vague, but i’m a desperate man. Super interested in music, specifically punk but I love everything from Jazz, Folk, Funk, Rap, Metal and Prog. I love artsy shit, and i love smoking and drinking. I’m not a resident, i just drive down here for work, but I’m probably going to live here very soon and I don’t wanna have zero friends. We will be traveling out of town for a week in early February. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a local resident who could keep our 8 year old mini dachshund? She is perfectly house trained and incredibly gentle. Only time she gets animated is dinner/ treat time. She is very sweet. Stairs would be an issue at her age however. Looking for any first hand experiences. We could use an app but are hesitant for obvious reasons. She is a major part of our life.

I wanted to share my experience using Prked for cruise parking near Port Canaveral, since I didn’t find a ton of information about it before booking.
I booked a private parking spot with a host named Michael for our 7-night Royal Caribbean cruise. The price was quite a bit cheaper than the regular cruise parking lots.
On embarkation day, everything went very smoothly. I dropped my family and luggage off at the cruise terminal first, drove over to Michael’s place, parked the car, and he personally drove me back to the port. The parking spot was only a few miles away, so it was very convenient.
On the morning we returned, Michael had an unexpected situation and wasn’t able to pick me up. I ended up taking an Uber back to the parking spot. Uber availability was actually pretty limited that morning and it took me around 40 minutes to get one, but Michael offered to reimburse the Uber fare and did reimburse me afterward.
Most importantly, my minivan was exactly where I left it after a week and everything was completely fine.
Overall, I had a very good experience. The host was responsive, the parking was inexpensive, and being close to Port Canaveral made it pretty convenient. The only thing I’d keep in mind is that with a private parking arrangement, the shuttle experience may not be as predictable as one of the big commercial cruise lots.
For the price, though, I was happy with it and would consider using the same host again for another cruise.

If anyone is looking for a reputable shop, with good vibes, and great artists, I strongly recommend Amber at Corner Tattoo in Cocoa Beach! I got some work done by her, the owner is awesome and funny, and Amber had such a steady hand even thought I was moving a lot. So if you’re worried about being difficult/moving too much, shes really good about that! Ive got some examples on my profile if you wanna see!

Nine more sleeps until I celebrate ten years vacationing in my happy place! A little bummed that Gregory's won't have a comedy show that week, but I'm sure I can adjust. Have any new places opened in the past year or two that I shouldn't miss?

Also, any coffee / breakfast places recommended?

I kept driving somewhere to work, ordering something, sitting down, and then finding out the Wi-Fi couldn't hold a call or the room was too loud to think in. So I started carrying a decibel meter and running a speed test everywhere I went. About 20 places so far around Central Florida. A couple of them are over here.

Foxtail in Cocoa Beach: 371 Mbps down, 39.7 up, 61.2 dB on a Saturday morning. Three of eight tables taken and there are outlets at most seats. Fine for a few hours.

Up in Titusville, The Health Bar downtown read 474 down, 22.5 up, 55.9 dB on a Saturday. Quietest fast room I've recorded outside Orlando, and parking was easy. Pier 13 a few blocks away was the other extreme, 30.5 Mbps at 71.4 dB. Cheap, nice room, but I wouldn't take a call in there.

What keeps surprising me is that none of this shows up in reviews. A cafe can sit at 4.6 stars and still drop Wi-Fi every ten minutes, because almost everyone reviewing it was there twenty minutes for a latte and not three hours with a laptop.

Foxtail is the only Cocoa Beach place I actually have numbers for, which isn't much of a town's worth. Where else here holds up? And is anything in Cape Canaveral or Merritt Island worth the drive? Name it and I'll go measure it.

Hi everyone, I could use some advice from people who know the area.

My wife, our 9.5-year-old son, 7-year-old daughter, and I will be in Tampa visiting relatives in December. I have wanted to visit Kennedy Space Center for years, but none of us has ever been.

We sail from Miami at noon on Dec. 12, so we are thinking of doing KSC on Dec. 11.

Current plan:

• Leave Tampa around 5:45 or 6:00 a.m.
• Get to Kennedy Space Center around opening
• Do the included bus tour first, then Apollo/Saturn V
• See Atlantis, Rocket Garden, and Astronaut Encounter if the timing works
• Let the kids do Planet Play and/or Shuttle Launch Experience if they are interested
• Leave KSC around 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.
• Stop at Jetty Park for a short beach, pier, and ship-watching break
• Go to Cocoa Beach afterward for a little more beach time and an early vegetarian dinner, possibly Coconuts on the Beach
• Start driving to Miami around 7:30 p.m. and hopefully reach our hotel around 10 or 11 p.m.

We are okay getting in late since the cruise is not until noon the next day, but we do not want to make the day unnecessarily stressful.

A few questions:

1. Does this sound realistic for a first-time family visit, or are we trying to do too much?
2. Is the regular included bus tour enough, or is the paid Explore Tour worth it? I would love the deeper NASA experience, but I am not sure my kids will enjoy a long guided tour.
3. Is Jetty Park worth a quick stop after KSC, or should we just go directly to Cocoa Beach?
4. Any better vegetarian restaurant suggestions with a real beach or Cocoa Beach feel?
5. Any tips for the KSC to Miami drive at night, especially with kids?

Would really appreciate any local advice or things you wish you had known before your first visit.

Me and some friends are planning on going to see the bioluminescence this weekend but are starting to have some worries so i thought i could ask here. Does it cost money just to go to the beach? is it even open that late at night? will the buildings along the beach ruin our ability to see? sorry for all the questions but google has been no help.

edit: any location that isn’t a beach won’t work seeing as the main thing we would like to do is swim and stay away from tons of gators

Hopefully someone here can help, I visited Cocoa Beach one time maybe a year ago and visited a location that was very beautiful. I remember it being near a military base? And there were multiple entrances along the road, maybe someone here can help me getting back to this exact location,

Would anyone know a place we can rent a beach wagon for the rest of the week? Ours broke and ordering from Amazon isn’t looking very speedy for some reason. I tried googling this but wasn’t having luck just finding a cart or wagon.
