League Man i feel for vulcan

https://kick.com/riotgames/clips/clip_01M53KRT5B4Q9540EETVPZDVPP

Not here to say anything other then his expression at the end was hilarious and i feel bad. Looks like a complete mental collapse. Can't fault vulcan at all for today either.

I feel for him. He has been our most consistent player in three years of ups and downs, and had his best year this year. I hope he stays, Dom has talked about how he has really tried to emphasize him as a leader.

I'd argue he's been by far our most consistent player the past two years straight. He came back into form last year and picked it up this year. If we have him in a more sole leader role to help dictate the game like Core does for TL, I genuinely think we would be (and have been, when he's leading calls) in a better spot.

It's to the point where I believe Dom is the one responsible for our early game and macro improvements and would trust him to elevate a new squad. And with one primary shotcaller instead of call by committee and people running about doing their own thing without or ignoring the plan, I think the game will just smooth itself out. But all depending on if Dom or Phil even want to stay.

Damn that sucks, im not even here to try shit on the team i genuinly feel for him after watching play ins. He was their most consistent player.

Most consistent but we really dont need 9yr+ players on the team.

He has never produced on any team. Win in regular season (maybe) and just isn't ever a leader enough.

???? He has won titles on two different teams and absolutely carried Danny's ass for a year. Him and Huni 2v5 dragged Clutch to worlds. Ridiculous.

CodySun - a strong hypercarry adc.

Danny - a strong hypercarry adc.

Vulcan rides the coattails of a strong ADC. He is a good support, not a great one.

And how many ADCs has he failed with.

This is revisionist history. Danny was strong in team fights but terrible in lane

Yeah that was the most baffling shit I've read all day. Danny was genuinely a borderline liability of a player until he penta'd TL, then his confidence was crazy high till he mentally collapsed.

Danny was 2nd Team All Pro before Vulcan joined.

EG was 3rd place the previous year with Impact, Svenskaren, Jiizuke, Danny and IgNar.

I think Danny is super overrated, but Vulcan is way more overrated.

Vulcan notably joined a new roster of Impact, Inspired, Jojopyun, Danny. But it isn't like Vulcan was playing with bad players and elevating them.

He got stuck with a collapsing Prince and thats literally all he has struggled with. He was good with Zven, he was good with FBi, he was low key decent with Berserker. Also 2019 CodySun is a strong ADC now? And do you remember Danny's laning phase or only the highlights? We are just making shit up at this point.

Such a casual take. Vulcan played more than well enough to win a title in playoffs this year if his team was competent. The rest of C9s players just weren’t as good as TL or LYONs

Bro is a random Vulcan hater troll, nothing to take seriously.

1

u/Vikolyn 1h ago

Yeah I’ve seen him before and I recognize the username. He made a long awkward post just shitting on Vulcan out of nowhere a few months ago. Lukewarm IQ if anyone thinks Vulcan is the problem on C9

He averages 40~ posts on reddit every single day for the past 4 years. I think his brain might just be fried and his reality is different than ours

He is pissed tired of dealing with these inters every year when it matters

It’s either Vulcan and Dom leave, or they’re the only ones who stay.

Vulcan is the only player I would hate to see leave the team but for his sake I hope a promising team, hopefully LEC, picks him up.

If blabber is on this team next year I'm just not even bothering tuning in.

2

u/Kuntsaw 1h ago

I said that last year about Zven, then I started tuning in when he got benched. And now I am saying it as well about Blaber.

C9 needs to get cvMax to chew the fuck out of these players man. Make them cry, because holy shit they play like they do not give a fuck.

I need to watch the series back but I don’t feel like it. To be honest, after game two it just looked hopeless. Not from a team comp perspective but from a macro and micro angle. You could tell that the players were panicking from the pressure that they experienced from all angles, including internally. Dom and Yamato are good coaches, maybe even great BUT I think that playing for popular coaches puts even more pressure on the players. I’ll continue to support C9 as long as they have a league team but I’ll be very interested to see what changes they make in the off season.

If Thanatos and Vulcan decide to leave then I hope they end up on very good teams. Thanatos especially, as he has tried his best for this organization for years and has still not won LCS. Sometimes due to his own misplays but often times not. He is far too good to have not won a single time.

10

u/nitinismaldingXD 2h ago

Really strange take. Thanatos has consistently underperformed at almost every possible bright lights moment.

7

u/Imaginary_Gas1344 2h ago

Yes literally. He is a known playoffs choker

4

u/alm0stevil33 3h ago

He was dogshit the entire playoffs besides the first Lyon series and now still dogshit at world play ins . Same exact collapse from him as last year . He’s just as anti clutch as the rest of them

1

u/Mental_Antelope_2774 1h ago

Thanatos is not it man, doesn’t deserve this

-5

u/QuietRedditorATX 4h ago

Yes, I hope Vulcan ends up on a good team, so he can drag them down for us.

u/QuietRedditorATX 4h ago

/u/dotboy2474

Just look at his records. He has failed to qualify for Worlds more time than he has qualified. Every time he qualifies, he has a top 3 ADC with him.

BUT he has also failed to qualify with top 3 ADCs as well.

He can't produce wins unless his team is good. And he brings negative synergy these days.

9

u/dotboy2474 4h ago

Id argue he elevated the adcs he played with, berserker and prince being the exceptions. Prince because he collapsed and berserker was really really good

-5

u/QuietRedditorATX 4h ago

If you look at my stats

  • CodySun was 1st team allpro the year before, 3rd team allpro the split with Vulcan.

  • Danny was 2nd team allpro the split before Vulcan.

  • Zven was on a 4th place TSM (I agree Vulcan elevated Zven that next spring with Wukong cheese, then crashed out in Summer)

Nah, Vulcan has always had the luxury of being with a star adc. And he has dragged more stars down than he has elevated.

He has only qualified for internationals when a magic factor exists on his team (Tanner Time and Danny carry)

7

u/DontCareTho 4h ago

You could put the best support in the world on c9 and they're still choking bro

-14

u/QuietRedditorATX 5h ago

8

u/LongSlongDon99 5h ago

find god

-3

u/QuietRedditorATX 5h ago

He has failed to go to a real international tournament MORE than he has actually gone.

This "top2 support" ALWAYS FAILS to go to international, even on STRONG teams.

5

u/Crobe 4h ago

But he played very good, why are you schizoing for no reason. Hes a good player, hope he'll have better teammates next year

-3

u/QuietRedditorATX 4h ago

He has negative intangibles.

He is on support. It isn't hard to look good there. He constantly fails to produce wins when they matter. I DONT CAR EHOW "GOOD" he looks if he can't get wins.

He is the veteran on the team. Why is our decision making so bad. He sucks.

He failed with FQ. He failed with several rosters of C9 - including Berserker and Jojopyun rosters.

2

u/Vikolyn 1h ago

You’re such a fucking dork bro

1

u/QuietRedditorATX 1h ago

Standing up for a loser isn't going to make him your friend.

2

u/Vikolyn 1h ago

Parasocially hatewatching the only consistent player in this org isn’t gonna do anything for you either. I barely follow C9 but you’re just showing how little you know about league if you think he’s the problem. At least everyone else here agrees

1

u/QuietRedditorATX 1h ago

Nah fam.

Yall just ignore how easy it is to slip by as support. Blinded by name recognition.
