Apparently it's really painful for weeks after the procedure and I also have to avoid gym, basketball and sexual activities for a whole month. I also read that you find it harder to finish after circumcision which I really don't want, how can I keep as much sensitivity as possible?? I am actually terrified of the pain and losing sensitivity

Day 15 post op, healing going good only a little bit of pain when hard as most of the stitches opened most of the swelling is gone

So I was cut on Wednesday, and so far it's been pretty manageable. But last night was probably the worst in terms of erections.

I feel like I barely slept. They prescribed me Valium and said it would roughly work for 3 hours.

I went to bed at 10:45. At 2:30am I woke up to urinate, and then legit every 15 minutes after that I'd get a boner. Thinking Unsexy thoughts in bed didn't work, I needed to stand up and walk around to get it down.

It's just... It happened the rest of the night. Once I got comfortable and would start dozing off, I'd feel an erection, get pain, and have to stand up and get out of bed.

Every fifteen minutes I'd sigh, get out of bed, walk, and try again.

I really like my sleep and I'm hoping it's not like this for a while 🫠 they only prescribed me 7 doses of valium, so I guess 3 hours a night for the first week and that's it.

What solutions or tricks have you guys used to mitigate night boners?

Hi, I have been recommended by an urologist to go for ZSR stapler with frenuloplasty. I wanted to know is this a major surgery and are there any drawbacks? I never had any surgery in my life before, so I am nervous 😅. My medical condition is phimosis grade 3 and balantis.

What do you guys think, would you already start to masturbate/have sex again or wait?

Circumcision and frenectomy 5 weeks ago. I had a piece of gauze stuck to my frenulum area for about 2 weeks before finally getting it off. Discovered wound dehiscence in the area after removal of the gauze which has been healing for about 3 weeks now.

At this point in time, I am very unhappy with the result on the underside, and think it looks terrible. I paid thousands to go to one of the big names in adult circumcision, as well, hoping for a good result.

The wound dehiscence has closed at this point... Would scar treatment/gel/sheet/etc even help me to smooth things out at all at this point?

I recently had a ZSR circumcision with frenuloplasty, and I'm struggling with extreme sensitivity of my glans.

Whenever I walk, my glans rubs against my pants or underwear, and the sensation is very uncomfortable. Even normal contact with clothing makes me feel irritated, and it's affecting my ability to walk properly.

I understand that the glans may be sensitive after circumcision because it is now exposed, but I didn't expect it to be this uncomfortable.

For those who have gone through the same experience:

- How long did it take for your glans sensitivity to improve?

- What helped you manage the rubbing against underwear and pants?

- Did you experience this level of sensitivity during the first few days after circumcision?

- Is there anything safe I can do to make walking more comfortable while healing?

Is my cut low and tight or High and tight??? Or medium

Hello, I have what I've been told was relative phimosis. My unretracted, long, foreskin narrows down towards the tip of my penis. Whether flaccid or hard, this creates a certain cone-shaped tip, a pointy look I very much dislike.

Functionally, I can pull the foreekin all the way over the glans, even during an erection. The feeling is a bit tight, but after years of stretching, it is easy for me to do it.

I finally decided to get rid of my problem. I was wondering what would be the best way to go about it in my case? If I opt for preputioplasty, the cone might go away but the prepuce could seem redundant. If I do a partial circumscision, I am afraid they will take too much skin or mess up in some way.

I would appreciate helpful comments, especially if some of you went through same doubts.

Here is a photo of day 2 post shower. I am 47 and after wanting this done since forever and finally had the means to do it. I had it done a 9am yesterday and I won't lie all day yesterday, last night, and even this morning sucked bad I was in so much pain and could barely pea so at the 24 hour mark I started to remove the bandages in hindsight someone mentioned it but I will reiterate it SHAVE YOUR PUBES BEFORE HAND! They were caught up in the bandages and made removing the bandages a little more difficult just because of the hair pulling. also, as I was removing the bandages, I did have experienced some blood. But as soon as I got the bandage off, I put some gauze on it. And that stopped, and all I have had was a tinglingl pain. My 1st shower when well, and other than the swelling it's like it doesn't know what to do one minute hanging, next like it wants to get hard, then tries to retreat into my body.

It’s been 4 months since I got circumcised, what’s your opinion? I feel good, but sometimes still some sensibility on the frenulum

I’m waiting for an appointment (NHS private hospital) to get my partial circumcision done due to a tight phimotic band when erect.

I’ve started to walk around all day with my foreskin pulled back fully, to try and desensitise the head a little bit so that when it’s cut it’s not too sensitive.

Is that ok and is that a decent way of achieving slight desensitising?

I got circumcised yesterday and the doctor said to take the bandage off after 48hrs and that it didn’t need to remain covered after that. Just apply polisporin/neosporin 2-3x per day. Anyone do this too? I’m concerned that leaving it unwrapped after just 48hrs is too soon.

So, long story short, I was raised in a family where we didn't really talk much about sexual health or what's normal or anything like that, so, I thought my penis was normal.

Over the years, once I found a partner and began a relationship, I noticed I would sometimes bleed from my dick after sex.....which terrified me...and obviously put a damper on my sex life.

Besides that, as I aged, I developed phimosis, and couldn't peel my skin back far enough to clean properly. I started to get an infection which I thought was my first yeast infection as a male, but, it was chronic balanitis due to phimosis.

I waited 10 years in the public system for a urologist, who put me on a 2 year wait list....but I couldn't wait that long as it was getting worse, so I had to opt for private care

4th surgery of my life, but 1st one where I was awake, because paying for anesthesia privately was an extra 8000$, lol.

Day 3 post op....my dick definitely looks like it was mangled by a wild cat, but I'm hoping i can finally start closing this chapter in my life.

Any advice for those who went through it? I'm thinking so much about not getting erections that I get them at night and it's definitely not fun.

I've set an alarm at 3am to pee before it forces me awake with an erection.

Glands are still covered when flaccid. I am a grower so i am not sure if my doctor took that into consideration when i got cut. My concern is that it just looks ugly

BYE BYE FORESKIN I’m 15.5 finally getting circumcised after wanting to be circumcised since like 14 which i’m so happy for, It was for medical and personal reasons, Doctor said i had very mild phimosis and i can still keep doing what i want to do, still told the doctor i wanted it done, he agreed and i now have it scheduled for mid december which im so excited for also, any tips? on like after care, stuff like that?
and is it true that there are different styles to circumcision? how do i ask my doctor about it?

It’s been 2 weeks since op. Healing properly but the bottom of donut had some ozzing on the same day so doctors stopped it with gauze etc. nothing major. However, I have a question for post op lads this might seem very basic as well but how do you keep your donut clean after you wee? Atleast foreskin provided you some cover and I could move skin a bit or so after the wee and keep it hygienic but here as it is still healing not only the aim of the wee is affected but it often sprays so I’m wondering how to keep donut area clean after the weee.

Right now I’m at healing stage so avoiding going out a lot but in coming days I may have to step out and work and I don’t want to pee or spray on my pants

I’ve never been 100% confident in what I tell people I am, but I think I’ve narrowed it down to either been loosely circumcised or partially done, but I’m not sure of the differences in nuances of the two styles.

Had my circumcision this morning, and things went a little differently than I expected.

I had it done under local anesthesia. My doctor told me during the consultation that I wouldn't feel pain during the procedure and that the area would stay numb for the rest of the day.

Even after multiple rounds of lidocaine, I could still feel quite a bit during the surgery. The procedure was quick, but the pain immediately afterward was intense. It felt like burning, almost like someone jabbing a rusty nail into my penis. It was bad enough that they gave me an oxycodone pill.

For context, I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so I was surprised by how much it hurt.

Right now, I'm sitting here with an ice pack on my dick, which has been helping quite a bit!

One other thing: I feel like I need to pee, but it's difficult to get the urine flowing unless I bear down. I'm wondering if the bandages might be too tight.

For those who've been through this:

Did you feel pain during the procedure under local anesthesia?

How bad was the pain immediately afterward?

Did you have trouble urinating?

Did ice packs help with the pain?

My advice to anyone considering circumcision: Discuss anesthesia and pain management with your doctor beforehand. I wish I'd had a better idea of what to expect. And definitely trim the hedges. otherwise it may het stuck in the bandages.

Hey all lost 1 stitch on the 13, 2 on the 14th and 2 more while sleeping. Day 15 pics are post shower I think 3 more fell off, down to the last one and i’m free of stitches.

How does everything look, I have a follow up with my doctor tomorrow. The underside of my penis definitely had to be carved out more than others because I had a lot of scar tissue from tearing frenulum multiple times and a frenuloplasty.

If you don’t have anything nice to say please take a breather and know this was medically necessary and my absolute last option it’s already taking such a big mental and physical toll on me haha.
