Moderator Post - What is this subreddit about?
The word “charcuterie” refers to meat. We all know that. You are not being original by complaining about a lack of meat. We don’t allow the “no meat” shaming here.
But I want to explain this to new users. Because it often doesn’t make sense to people.
There are two main Charcuterie subs. [r/CharcuterieBoard](r/CharcuterieBoard) and [r/Charcuterie](r/Charcuterie) . We don’t want to be a carbon copy of [r/Charcuterie](r/Charcuterie). We want to be our own sub , and let people be free to be creative. [r/charcuterie](r/charcuterie) is the meat sub. And I like the fact that we have both options, and can participate In Both subs.
I personally love [r/charcuterie](r/charcuterie) . We are not in competition. It’s basically our sister sub. I’m a subscriber. Both subs have their place.
So that is why we allow boards with only fruit on it. Keep up the good work because you all post a lot of great content always.

how to acquire a charcuterie cart
hello,
remember me from my post a few months ago where you guys thought our cheesecloth was a ham fabric/mortadella river? lmao
anyway, how does one go about renting or ordering a collapsible charcuterie cart for pop-ups/event vendor opportunities?
i was looking on fb marketplace/general searches online and i keep landing on pages to rent their charcuterie cart services.
is this something i need to diy?
is this to be sourced through a woodworker?
is there a party supplier store i can order this from?
if you have a reference or website, please drop the link below!
location: southern california (la, long beach, sgv, oc, riverside)

Mini snack board for a few guests during board game night! My first time making a board, I had fun!
Had to keep gluten and protein separate a bit for food allergies/preferences.

Fall-Themed Charcuterie for Lord of the Rings Marathon
Every autumn my family does a day where we watch all three extended editions and we eat all of the Hobbit Meals (First Breakfast, Second Breakfast, etc.). This year I decided to do a board for Elevensies and thought I'd share it here.

Before and after of a massive 12ft charcuterie table I did for a theater opening. Freaking animals leaving chocolate covered pretzels behind ;)

Spread for two, first attempt
Camembert, Gorgonzola and Kashkaval as the cheeses, fig jam in the middle and we had pate as another spread on the side - improvement suggestions both in terms of presentation and content most welcome!

Making a board for the first time!
Hi everyone! so i want to make a board for the first time but honestly, i suck at this. I’d like to use Raclette and cherry preserves, but im not sure what else to use! i’m trying to highlight locally made (or at least made somewhere in NW michigan) ingredients, like a few cured meats and other things. does anyone have some tips of what i should include? also, how much should i make for 20 people? please and thank you!

Birthday Board
Made this board for my sisters partners birthday this weekend. They are very artsy and I pushed myself to make something to match their wonderful creative energy.
