hey, i recently got two 30ml 20mg salt nic bottles which i absolutely hate one is lemon drop boost blue razz and another one is flavor beast blue razz melon im using it on the g5 caliburn 0.9 ohm its harsh and really awful in taste.

i was thinking if i should shift to a free base maybe 12mg but i did some research and found out that it has a throat hit which i dont prefer. so maybe 6 mg would cut it

and the flavour i was going with is dinner lady blackberry delight 6mg is it any good or do u have any other recommendations, im looking for something sweet maybe fruits or dessert like

All the icy ones i’ve tried are not that icy, they don’t really give that freezing feeling. Any recommendations? Preferably mint flavours or not too sweet

I searched the sub and the last time someone asked about mech mods was two years ago.

I doubt I'll find one in Canada, but are they available anywhere in the world?

I've vaped for years. Used mech mods back in the day. Weaned off nicotine 5 years ago, but still vape for the flavor and the habit. My current mod is ~10 years old and is showing signs of dying. I've cut way back, but still want a device on standby that I can throw in a battery and hit it.

Vaporesso Luxe doesn't hold a charge anymore, and looking to get something new, but similar, for my wife and I. Currently using 0.6 ohm coils at 19W, so don't need anything crazy, would like to stay around the same ohm and wattage. 80W is great for most people, but I just don't need that kind of power. I have my own juice, so looking for a pod type system. Juice capacity and battery life are probably the most important for me. I live in Canada, so being able to order coils and pods from a Canadian supplier is top of my list as well (I usually use Canada Vapes for orders).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi folks!

I've been doing a bit of research on this topic, but I'm finding so much conflicting info that I thought I'd just "ask the audience" so to speak.

My partner and I are new-ish to vaping, her because she's smoked for years and me because I recently picked the habit back up because of stress. (I know, I know).

We started out with a couple of disposables: the Elfbar FS70K in Sakura Grape Ice and the STLTH X Geek Bar in Blue Raspberry. I loved mine; she found hers a bit harsh.

We decided to swap to something a little more affordable/permanent next, so picked up two STLTH Loop Max bases, two STLTH Loop Open 15ml refillable pods, a disposable white grape ice pod for me, and a disposable green apple ice pod for her.

Also ordered 4 60ml bottles of ejuice from Bargain E-Juice at the same time: Iced Grapple, Iced Field Berries, Circle Loops V2, and their "summer" medley.

Which brings me to my question. I've tried the circle loops, the iced grapple, and the summer, and they are all largely flavorless/no chill at ALL. I actually sent the company an email because it seemed so odd to me, and they were super nice and wrote back to let me know about the steeping issue.

We're at about the 1-week point now and while I can MAYBE taste a hint of something, I'm still really not getting any flavor on any of them. I did shake them up and let them sit a couple days as I read that can be helpful, but just... not much of anything.

So I guess my question is, is this really as impactful as it's being represented, or am I maybe just expecting too much from the juice to begin with? I did also read that disposables/pods are often jacked up with flavor and sucralose so I'm wondering if maybe that's skewing my perception a bit.

Just trying to get an idea if we should be looking at weeks to months for steeping and if the flavor can really change that much over the same period of time. Also wondering if I could maybe pick up some flavor and add it to boost the sweetness/flavor if worse comes to worse?

Thinking about getting Native cigs ($4/pack) vs a simple refillable vape to cut costs – Need advice (Scarborough, Toronto)

Hey everyone,

I'm a light smoker (about 3 cigarettes a day) looking for the most cost-effective way to manage my routine in the long run like the same way I switched to fountain pen and King c Gillette safety razor from ball pens and from modern Razer's .

I'm currently weighing two options:

Option A (Native Cigarettes): I've been thinking about getting Native packs since they are around $4 a pack. However, considering the $7 transit fare just to pick them up, I'm not sure if the travel hassle and costs are worth it for a 3-cig-a-day habit.

Option B (Refillable Vape System): Getting an open/refillable pod system (where I can just buy e-liquid bottles and replace pods) with low-strength freebase nicotine to match my current light intake.

For anyone in Scarborough / Toronto:

Is switching to a basic refillable vape setup cheaper in the long run compared to traveling to buy Native packs?

What nicotine strength in freebase liquid would reasonably match just 3 cigarettes a day without increasing my nicotine dependency?

Any recommended local vape shops in Scarborough that offer fair prices on refillable hardware, pods, and low-nicotine liquids?

And finally brand and model which last like a fountain pen with refillable abilities

Just curious what you folks have to say about the best prefilled pods out there that don't have some form of chip or something in the pod, that prevents you from vaping all the liquid in your pod.

For over a year, I've been using some battery that works with level x prefilled pods.. and I actually enjoy getting every last drop. I dunno if it's the battery that is bypassing something that's in the pod, or something about the pods that bypasses some tech in the battery. All I can tell you is, my normal pods show up as "unknown pod" on the battery's screen. Can't even call em a traditional "counterfeit" cuz I see these pods for sale on a bunch of websites/at my local vape shops.

Anywho, recently bought the oxbar maglink starter kit to get me through a wee bit of time after I lost the battery to my old system. And although I don't know for certain yet.. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to vape this one down to it's actual end of life, just what the battery and the inbuilt tech in the pod say is the end of life. Not ideal for me.. but I mean, I get it. Some people ARE that dumb that they'd hit it till it probably burned the wicking material lol. But since my LAST system I had allowed the freedom to be dumb, I'm wondering if there's any good alternatives for that, that you folks have tried? Hell my last pods would still be good enough once they were empty, that I've even refilled them a few times just to get me through (not the same pod multiple times, different pods, with one refill after I emptied them of what they came with) I'm an idiot when it comes to stores being closed for holidays 😂 But that lil "trick" definitely saved my ass a couple times. I'm not looking for a pod that I can easily refill here.. just wanna be able to enjoy all the liquid that's contained in the pods. (I've had a few disposable vapes before that allowed you to keep hitting at 0%, and that's what I base my thinking on. I'm assuming that since the disposables had days of extra vaping time for me beyond their reaching 0%, that most other vapes that show a level percentage for eliquid are also playing it safe with their numbers)

Gotta say though, I'm enjoying this oxbar set up. The peach berry ice is doin me just fine over here and the battery life is freaking amazing 👌 If I get over 2 weeks outta this thing, I probably won't even care that I can't hit it once it gets to 0% 😅 I'm just trying to save myself from my own stupidity with local stores being closed. Yes Reddit, I'm a dumb ass 🤷 No points for stating the obvious lol
