Loved this game and the music as a kid and love the vaporwave albums made from it. Had no idea it was worth so much until I added to my discogs.

Thought you guys would get a kick out of seeing my Dad's cd collection. He's in his mid 60s and has been collecting for quite some time. Despite the quantity of CDs, he's a very particular collector, only buying actual albums, no greatest hits, and only buying artists that he actually loves and listens to, so, yes, all of these have been played lol. I'm only saying that because a quantity like this could be full of the endless sea of Barbera Streisand, Kenny G, and other shelf warmers that plague the thrift and antique stores while searching for gold, but his collection truly is special. Full discographies of every classic rock band you could think of, save for a few rare ones that he's always on the hunt for. I don't know much about CD collecting except for what I learn from him, but there are certain ones that are quite pricey, and I always remember those for birthdays and Christmas. For example, the albums Modern Times and Nuclear Furniture by Jefferson Starship are both quite rare and expensive on CD, but are ones he's been on the hunt for for quite some time. I had picked up Nuclear Furniture for him for Father's Day, and plan on doing the same with Modern Times once his birthday rolls around. Anyway, I'm just rambling. Feel free to ask if he has anything rare from 60s-90s artists! That's mostly what he collects!

I’m from Mexico, and here, many CDs from the 90s to the early 2010s have these stickers on their jewel cases. I’m not entirely sure of the specific reason behind them but I suspect they were used to identify fake/pirated copies but I do know that albums released after 2015 no longer feature them.

If anyone knows the specific reason or any detail I would appreciate it :D

I offered to buy it earlier this year, but as it had been sitting in storage for quite some time, it needed a bit of work to bring it back up to spec.

Before selling it to me, the owner kindly arranged for it to be overhauled. The power supply has been rebuilt, and the laser pickup assembly was realigned just yesterday afternoon.

It now seems to be performing spot on and is ready for collection!

Say what you want about the hella remasters/re-releases Crue has done over the years, love this ablum regardless.

Recuerdan el CD rayado de la vez pasada pues ahora la semana pasada salto en la canción 6 pero al sacar el CD la paso igualmente las demás veces que pongo la canción pero hoy puse el CD y salto la pista 9 pero la puse otras 2 veces y paso,lo curioso esq cuando se saltan canciones el reproductor hace un ruido como raro como frrrr algo así no el típico ruidito de polvo y el láser perdiendo el rumbo para retomarlo

Alguien sabe si es polvo o ya está en sus últimas?? O necesite cambiar el CD por uno nuevo

I've started collecting around this time last year, and it's been such a fun ride! I know it's a really small collection so far, I just felt like sharing my own music after lurking this sub for months. I've still got a loooong way to go, most of my favorite and most wanted stuff isn't here, just off the top of my head I have around 200 more albums I regularly listen to and would really love to have a physical copy of. But almost all of this stuff, I've found it second hand in shops/fairs so I find myself to be quite proud of my CDs! Been building up slowly but I only pick up music I really enjoy and listen. I also have a few Doors CDs, currently in my car so I couldn't show them here.
