Quick question for anyone familiar with acting holds. My daughter received a hold for an episodic TV role, and under Job Dates it says “Working 1H.”

Some people have suggested it means one hour, but the role is expected to film multiple days across several episodes. We’ve also seen 1H on a previous project she booked, and she worked much longer than an hour.

We're a small German student film team making a 15-min queer coming-of-age short. It follows a 14-year-old boy who explores his awakening desire through anonymous video-chat encounters online - and runs into the warmer and the harsher sides of queer online spaces. Those encounters are told through webcam, so we're casting people worldwide for short, self-recorded webcam roles.

For now we're keeping it open: instead of fixed roles, just send a short "about me" video (~1 min) - you on your webcam, who you are and where you're from, nothing polished. We're casting broadly on purpose, so if someone great turns up who doesn't quite fit the script yet, we'd rather adapt than miss them.
