Personally I am a Jakobs man.

I know this is an incomplete list, this is just of the 'evergreen' manufacturers - so to speak - that show up in every game.

I was looking through steam reviews for the game today and honestly, I do not get half of these complaints. I get the complaints of endgame is lacking a bit but I don’t get the rest. Most of the cons I have seen are:

- Story is bad ( I don’t think this at all, I think it’s very much the opposite actually, probably the 2nd or 3rd best story in the franchise)

- Open World (each to their own but I didn’t actually mind it as much as I thought)

- TVHM not here (Which is such a bad argument because it was in 3 but no one used it because you didn’t need it)

So what is the deal? Apart from gearboxes lack of care and communication, why is there so much hate?

Jakobs licensed part is the sweet spot to bypass semi automatic mode.

Ok, so im currently playing C4SH, on a cleromancy build. My understanding is, groundbreaking stores the damage from my gun and skills (totems?) For up to 5 seconds and then using melee or smash will add 20% of that damage as kinetic to the hit.

Great! Except it feels kinda lame. I keep seeing people doing tons of damage with it and melting bosses, so I figure I must not be setting it up correctly. Anyone have any tips?

I know this sounds insane, but like... is the Crow-Sourced a real weapon? I've been farming Captain Willis in the Ellie DLC for at least 2 hours everyday for a week and have yet to get a single drop of it. I see people posting about farming it constantly but I'm genuinely convinced it's not a real weapon. I've never seen someone use it in a public lobby and I've gotten so many other pearls from Willis that I don't think it's real anymore😭 I play on True UVH7, too.

not sure if anyone else is also as annoyed as i am about the fact that every vladof weapon plays an animation when swapping or using melee that prevents your from shooting.

my current loveless build requires me to constantly spend my ram by using her empowered melee, so after every melee i have to wait for the animation to end to start shooting, which is only made worse if i am using a vladof gun that has a ripper licensed mag.

apologies that this post is kinda complainey, but it would be nice if vladof weapons would be changed to only play that animation when first swapping to a vladof weapon rather than after melees when the weapon is already equipped/in your hands.

I’ve been thinking about picking up the story DLCs for Borderlands 4, but I’m on the fence about paying full price. For those of you who’ve already played them, is the story content actually substantial, or does it feel more like a short side adventure? How does the quality compare to the main campaign in terms of writing, bosses, and set pieces? I’m also wondering whether the new loot and endgame content is worth it on its own, or if it’s mostly about the story.

Mine is 41 seconds with Devourer Rafa.

I haven't played since launch and wanted to jump back in, I am still level 50 as Rafa. I want to get UVH 6 so I have been trying to kill Bloomreaper, I make it to the last phase no problem, but for several attempts now, I die by getting downed in midair and falling to my death. I was wondering if this last phase would be any easier if I got those extra skill points? Or should I try to find someone to kill him with me because having an extra person or two in the arena when I die so I can jump back in would help immensely.

I'm looking to get the shield from this fight and everything im seeing online says it's only dropped if you kill subjugator 2nd. Does anyone have a good strategy for this?

Edit: I did kill subjugator 2nd once after posting but it feels a bit like luck, the homing skulls seem to damage health through overshield. Maybe im just missing something

Can anyone give me advice on the "Zip It" challenge in FL4K and the Last Resort?

I'd appreciate any tips, tricks or YouTube tutorial links that could help.

I'm also still looking for some help with Bloomreaper, Subjugator and Thol so I can get from UVH5 to UVH7 on PS5.

I main a level 70 C4SH with a pretty decent Cleromancy build, I'm maining a Juliet's Sparkle (44k dmg) and I can solo any boss on UVH5 but I'm really struggling with Bloomreaper and I'm assuming I'll struggle with Thol too (but I've not tried him yet).

That thing rips, lootlemon god roll has no ripper part on it but I think it is much better with ripper. Thats like a machine gun sniper and it shredds hard
