Silly, but I love it.

I watch the whole series on repeat and log episodes which have wallpaper candidates. This one wound up absolutely perfect. I found an app that lets you change app icons as the chef's kiss.

Bob is constantly being brushed off for his dorky interests and he was SO excited to share this one with Tina, but she was distracted too 🥲 When he goes "I love that part" and looks around for Tina but she's not there, I feel SO bad for him. I like to believe they went back for a second showing and had a great time together lol.

She knows me so well!

It is so comfortable, and the detail on the patches is so good—the threads and everything are all iridescent looking. I love it.

Questions/comments Logan’s middle name

Post image
125 Upvotes

Took me way too long to realize that when Cynthia says “we didn’t think it through” about Logan’s middle name, she doesn’t mean “I named my child Logan Berry Bush because it seemed cute on a baby but now it sounds ridiculous on a teenager” but actually, “I named my child Logan Barry Bush (possibly after a man in his family) and didn’t think about how it would sound all together”

Edit: apparently Loganberries are a type of hybrid plant on the East coast, which explains why, when Linda questions her, she says, “Loganberry Bush?” sort of strung together. Also the subtitles and wiki have his name listed as “Berry” not “Barry” but I’m still not 100% convinced it’s not meant to be Barry because the homophone version is funnier to me.

Clip/Screenshot My Favorite Episode. Possibly of anything ever..

“When I look around the tree”
When I look around the tree,
I see the parallels of my lower middle class family. My family who was in constant debt until my mother escaped and saved us.
I see my grandparents, my mothers parents who were frugal every second of every day of their life, so that they could support their kids and grandkids in the most difficult moment of their lives.

I see my sister, who was hard on me as a kid, but has always loves and protected me.

I see an almost perfect family on an animated tv show, that I constantly wish I had.
And then I think about the family I do have, an think about how perfect they are for me, and to me

Questions/comments This show makes me sad man.

I know a lot of people seriously dig Bob's Burgers and similar shows because they capture a familiar or nostalgic family dynamic for many, but how many get the opposite enjoyment out of it?

Bob's Burgers feels like a window into a family dynamic I wasn't even sure existed. Not to claim my parents were bad people, just not nearly as involved or interested as Linda and Bob, not to mention being an only child.

Plight Before Christmas got a couple sobs outta me because I don't think any member of my family has ever been that in my corner.

Sorry if this sentiment has been addressed already; I'm pretty new to the show and was just interested in other perspectives

Cast & Crew Info It took me until today to realize that Neil Flynn voices Max Flush in “O.T. the Outside Toilet”

Bob’s Burgers and The Middle have been on repeat on my tv almost every day for years now and I’d never noticed that Max Flush (alias for Tim Jones) was voiced by Nail Flynn, aka Mike Heck.

Admittedly, I only realized it because of looking up the cast on s3E15 out of curiosity. Flynn changes the fluctuation of his voice differently than he does while he plays Mike and I still don’t necessarily recognize his voice when rewatching the episode.

Any other guest cameos that surprised you on a rewatch?

Fan Creations (weekends) What if a future episode of Bob’s Burgers were to open with the following scenario?

Bob is doing some shopping at an exotic import store in hopes of finding inspiration for his next Burger of the Day. As he's about to check out, Jimmy rudely cuts in infront of him. After Jimmy finishes his purchase, it’s Bob’s turn to check out. Much to Jimmy's dismay, Bob is declared the millionth shopper and wins a trip for himself and his family.

Questions/comments Episodes you both love watching but hate a part of...

For me its heartbreak hotelloween, the whole episode is amazing but I hate that Linda, Teddy, and the phlebotomists bully bob into giving blood. I'm also a needle weenie and am O-, but I give blood BY MY CHOICE, no one forces or tricked me into doing it and i wouldve hated them if they had. It's awful that Teddy tricked him there so that the phlebotomists could bully him into giving blood. And that doesn't even mention that they left him there BY HIMSELF while sitting outside.

Fan Creations (weekends) How Would You Have Handled Louise’s Vendetta?

Post image

Whether as Louise herself, her victims, her siblings, or her parents.

How would you have handled the situation?
What would your revenge have looked like?
What costume would you wear so they wouldn’t suspect you?
What advice would you have given her to talk her out of it?
So many possibilities.

It bugs me so much that she was promised extra candy because of their mistake and then they just didn’t think she was telling the truth about that.

Bob's Burgers is one of my favorite shows, and I'm a big data nerd, so I made an analysis of the show and a way to create and give a pickle rating to burgers from the show.

Check it out: Bob's Burgers: Analysis & Make and Rate Burgers of the Day

I was showing my fiancé the series and during this episode she said she wanted to see art of Bob facing the shark like a Bloodborne boss. I was possessed by the bit and now I offer it to this sub. Bloodburgers...? Bob-borne???

Questions/comments How the Show Treats its Problematic (aka people we dislike) Characters

The way the show treats antagonistic characters (ie Jimmy Pesto, Tammy, sometimes Teddy, etc) is admittedly a mixed bag, although I do love the moments where the Belchers or whoever we are supposed to root for puts their foot down and puts them in their place. An interesting detail to note is that once the character stands up for themselves, the antagonist of the episode immediately backs off and actually loses their significance in their following appearances. As someone who treasures their boundaries, it is very refreshing to see and I wish there were more episodes like that.

Questions/comments season 7

i just re watched season 7 it is genuinely one of the best seasons. Perfect amount of chaos and heart warming episodes. Quirk-Ducers and the last ginger breast house on the left back to back cinematic master piece. We have so many holiday episodes and so many episodes of the kids being together. I just love it so freaking much!

Questions/comments S5 E2 Tina and the Real Ghost

I was watching this episode and was at the part where the kids get to the mausoleum. Zeke says “In a few years, we’ll be parents!” and I always thought he was just being wistful about growing up.

The dots connected this time that he’s mentioned his mom was pregnant with him at the prom 😭
